I have used it some two years now and find it very responsive as well as reliable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18938823.post-29131148605482623352007-06-09T13:05:00.000-07:002007-06-09T13:05:00.000-07:00As a follow-up to jim r, I did try out Gnucash and...As a follow-up to jim r, I did try out Gnucash and it was cryptic to use at first. What's good about gnucash is that they get you into more formal double-entry accounting when you use it as opposed to quicken where some transactions create or destroy money. Gnucash has a pretty good stock updater that uses Yahoo's free stock quotes.Davidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06304210981063470391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18938823.post-38582528856404223252007-06-09T05:50:00.000-07:002007-06-09T05:50:00.000-07:00Wow - I have stumbled onto your blog - How do you...Wow - I have stumbled onto your blog - How do you know all this - the computer still scares me with what it can do. My children use it like it is second nature to them for whatever they need. They are never afraid of adding something. Now I am going to try firefox because I have no idea what is does. Let's see if it works. Free software sounds good.suehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07921158717381335934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18938823.post-36618868860090825362007-02-27T20:16:00.000-08:002007-02-27T20:16:00.000-08:00Thanks Jim. Since I don't use Quicken for much more than emailing the odd invoice, I'm probably not going to get into GnuCash too far but I think it's the best option at this point.Davidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06304210981063470391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18938823.post-88234627369367945322007-02-27T17:29:00.000-08:002007-02-27T17:29:00.000-08:00Firefox is FREE and THE BEST Browser!!!.
