I've lost track of the number of times someone has told me a girl was flirting with me when I was completely unaware of it. Of course, I've also had a girl tell me I was flirting with another girl when I was not - I was simply "chatting her up" - from my perspective, being friendly. If I'd have been talking to a guy nobody would have thought anything of it.
