What a joke...
Well, I had convocation a week ago at good ol' LCC. Kind of stupid, really, seeing as how I don't ACTUALLY graduate for 4 more months. So I sat. For 3 hours. With 6 out of 27 students from my program that decided to show up for our "big" day. And I watched the excitement of the 500 other students who walked across that stage and left the building for the last time that day. DEPRESSING!!! Anyways, that's my beef. I've been back in e-town for the last week, and caught up on the excitement of the Oilers vs Detroit series ender and new things happening with the fam. Oh, and I finally got to show off my engagement ring a little too, although it is kind of anti-climactic since I have been engaged since February, and it is now May. Ah, well. I bus it back to Cowtown tomorrow for a day of fun-filled shopping with my betrothed. I hope that I don't end up with a clunker of a bus like the one I had last time. I don't get motion sickness, but I sure did that time. Cross your fingers for me, and say a little traveling prayer if you will. Adios to everyone in Edmonton!! I'll be baaaaaack. (In September...)

Persnickety-icketyPersnicketyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10801815330428338163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18545044.post-1145463145669543752006-04-19T10:02:00.000-06:002006-04-19T10:12:25.686-06:00Blogging? Really?
Oh boy. I set up this blog a looooong time ago, and never had the time to do anything with it. I guess school 6 out of 7 days of the week will do that to a person. Ah well, I have to look on the bright side now, seeing as how I only have one semester (through the summer) left before the fiance and I get to move back home!! (Be excited, all of you) I never thought I would be one to blog, but who knows - maybe it will catch on, and I will be updating all the time. Maybe I can find a way to display my music on a blog...that would be fun! Anyways, I have about a million (not really, just 8 actually) final exams to prepare for - one of which is in 5 hours - and I haven't started studying yet, so I think the blogging stops here for now. I had a dream last night that I went somewhere tropical...boy am I wishing I was there now.

Leaving you with the thought of a tropical paradise,
Persnickety

ps - This is a picture of one of the islands in the Kingdom of Tonga. I will go there someday...
Persnicketyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10801815330428338163noreply@blogger.com
