Telento De Barrio Breaks Record

Daddy Yankee's movie (Telento De Barrio) debut has smashed box office records in Puerto Rico. An estimated 12,000 fans turned out to see the movie when it debuted last week.

I haven't seened it but plan to in the weekend. Many people have already told me the movie was great so Daddy Yankee made a mayor hit with this.

I wasn't surprized that the movie turned out to be good since it has been in the making for more then 3 years.

The REY of Reggaeton Daddy Yankee is back with this new and unique album called Talento De Barrio: El Soundtrack.

The album is released on the occasion of his first motion picture of the same name of the album.

It include the two first singles "Pose" and "Somos De Calle". I'm sure his album well sell like Pan Caliente (thats how we say it over at PR).

Arcangel and Polaco Fight!

Que la que hay mi gente, como ya sabran el Bigg Boss Daddy Yankee saco su nuevo video llamado Pose. Auqnue sincillo es muy bueno y tiene un ritmo pegajoso. Y como se fijaran en el video, tambien salen los ganadores del programa Americas Best Dance Crew los Jabba Woqui o como se llaman... jjaja, pero eso fue muy cool de parte de Yankee traerlos al video. Daddy Yankee will receive the prestigious Latino of The Year Award from Harvard University on April 26 for his social work via his foundation Corazón Guerrero.

I am very surprised about this but a big shout out to Daddy Yankee for this great award.

When one of the best universities of the world gives you a recognition then you know your in big leagues.

Breacking News: Daddy Yankee and Don Omar Are Now Freinds!!!!!1

Alright guys, Daddy Yankee released a new music video called Somos de Calle, i can tell you right now that the video is Hot. The song is about the life on the street. The video mostly takes part in the hood where he use to live back in the day. Overall, the song is gonna be a huge hit.

I just received this video clip of Daddy Yankee performing live at Santa Cruz Bolivia. The quality of the video isn't great, but at least you can see how it was. Here is the vid:

For those who are to lazy to see it, i will summarize it for you. Daddy Yankee did a great live performance at Bolivia, it was full, people where dancing and having a dam good time. Overall, it was another successful concert by Yankee.

Daddy Yankee And The Latin Grammys

A few days ago Daddy Yankee performed live at the Latin Grammy's. He sang the song "ella me levanto", and to tell you the truth, the performance wasn't perfect. The dancers in back of Yankee were lost and Daddy Yankee was singing out of tone in some parts of the song. But it was still a pretty nice performance.

Also, many people (not me) didn't like how he was dressed, they said he looked like a old man. What they don't understand is that the theme of the song is like that, kind of old fashion, thats why in the music video of "ella me levanto" he was also dressed like this.

One thing that i noticed was that Daddy Yankee has gained a considerable amount of weight.

Well, you guys have my opinion on the Grammy's, whats yours?

Ok guys, the album El Cartel has been out for several months and its selling pretty dam good. Here is the strange part, Daddy Yankee thought he was going to make a big hit with the song Impacto "he even spent 500k on the music video". But the song that really got popular is "Ella Me Levanto".

The song has been a huge success and Yankee even made a music video of it, for those who haven't seen it, here is a video of Yankee singing it live:

The big boss Daddy Yankee according to People En Espanol will be the main producer for the La play la vida y musica de Celia Cruz. Of course this all is about the famous and amazing artist Celia Cruz that will never be forgotten by many.

Daddy Yankee mention to the press that he is doing this because he wants to support his musical legacy heritage.

He also said "Everyone loved Celia Cruz, she broke down barriers for many Latin American artists,”. The play will start on Sept. 12 in New York City. So good luck Yankee.

Daddy Yankee Messed Up Big Time

Hey guys, well i have some thing to say about Daddy Yankee and unfortunately its not good. The other day Yankee was in a radio station and he was receiving phone calls from fans. A little girl talked to Yankee and everything seem good, but the host of the show said what would you like Daddy Yankee to give you as a present?

The little girl was a little shy and didn't know what to say, so the host told Daddy Yankee to give her free tickets to his concert and Yankee responded by saying that he wasn't going to give her free tickets and that the host of the show should pay for it.

I was stunned by Daddy Yankee's reaction, I never knew Daddy Yankee was like this. Common guys, were talking about a famous artist that has more then 50 million in the bank. Why in hell would he not give the girl a $30 ticket.

I don't know what Daddy Yankee was thinking, maybe he was high or something but one thing is for sure, he should apologize and give her the free tickets because the fans are pissed off at him.

Yankee sorry I had to say this, but one i see something wrong I have to mention it here.

Daddy Yankee Impacto Live Premios Juventud

El Cartel Review

Well as soon as El Cartel came out, I purchased it on itunes. What do i think of it? 2 words, Quedo Cabr-n. The album has 21 tracks and all of them are great, it shows Daddy Yankee worked his ass of for this.

My top five favorite songs are of course the intro (best intro of any reggaeton cd in my opinion), Impacto, Bring It On (with Akon), Sony Lo Que Soy and my favorite of all is "Todos Quieren a Ramon".

The phrase I most liked about the song "Todos Quieren a Ramon" is when Daddy Yankee says "Lo qu tu digas de mi... me tiene sin cojones, creeme que ando por ahi gozando de mis milliones". Quedo bien guillao.

Overall, Daddy Yankee made this album with a whole new style and on top of that, included famous international artist, the end result is of course a top seller. I should remind you guys that Daddy Yankees is the only reggaeton artist to sell in the millions.

For all those haters who said Daddy Yankee was going to have bad record sales on his album El Cartel, are dead wrong! Yankee is dominating Latin Billboard charts.

Daddy Yankee is back, so Don Omar start doing something because your not looking so good right now (I'm joking guys, don't take it personal Don Omar fans).

The artist who is right behind Daddy Yankee is Enrique Iglesias, they have held the top Billboard Latin music charts for more then 2 weeks. I know many of you have bought the album, so feel free to give your opinion on it.

Changing the topic, I was surfing the net and found an old as- music video, surprising enough, Yankee and Don Omar where "panas" in that time, so thats why you see them singing together. Enough of me talking, here is the vid:

Daddy Yankee Released From Hospital

Daddy Yankee has been released from hospital after falling ill with an intestinal virus.

Ramon Ayala was hospitalized on Friday for a viral infection and dehydration, forcing him to miss Puerto Rican Day Parade festivities in New York at the weekend.

Dr. Javier Perez Fernandez says the rapper arrived at Florida's Miami Baptist Hospital "very ill" and was suffering from "acute viral symptoms that gave him gastritis casing him to be dehydrated.

But the 30 year old's condition improved considerably over the weekend and he checked out of hospital on Monday - although he was still fatigued as he was pushed to a waiting car in a wheelchair.

Outside the hospital, Daddy Yankee told reporters his hospital stay was "a forced vacation", adding that he would take a week out of his work schedule to fully recover at home in Puerto Rico.

I hope Daddy Yankee can get back to normal soon and this really is something that surprised me a lot, from my understanding, Daddy Yankee hasn't been a a hospital for years, his last time in one - was when he got shot in the leg.

Latin idol Daddy Yankee is sure to get people dancing as he rides this year's Puerto Rican Day Parade in style as the exclusive artist aboard the MTV Tr3́s float on June 10th in New York City. Daddy Yankee said, "My music represents a lot dancing, I'm from the Caribbean, I'm from Puerto Rico, zone of the rhythm, nosotros somos gente que rumbiamos muchos, tu me entiendes?".

The Puerto Rican Day parade is attended by more than 2 million people who line New York's Fifth Avenue, making it one of the largest outdoor events in the whole United States.

I always knew Fergie was one hot women, but with this video I realized that she has a great looking body, which makes her even hotter. In the video you can see that Daddy Yankee is having a great time dancing with Fergie, plus Yankee included the Puerto Rican flag representing his beautiful island, overall Daddy Yankee and Fergie really made a home run with this music video, well enough of me writing, here it is:

Well guys only a few weeks to go for Daddy Yankee to release his upcoming album el Cartel. With artist like Akon, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie and Will.I.am, I'm 100% sure that this album is going to be one of the best that Daddy Yankee has done, not only because he has worked with this album for almost 2 years, but because for the first time, Daddy Yankee is making a whole album with other international artist. Not only does this make the album much more interesting, but its sure to produce more sells.

Another interesting thing about the upcoming album El Cartel is that it will contain a DVD with exclusive access to Daddy Yankees world. With this DVD people are going to get a chance to know Daddy Yankee in a more personal way.

The hot new album The Cartel: The Big Boss, is coming out on June 4, 2007. So its only a couple months away. But don't think for one second that Daddy Yankee is the only one who is going to be on this album, there are other artist participating like Akon, Pussycat Dolls, Jim Jones, Young Buck, Snoop Dog, Black Eyed Peas, and many more.

This album has almost all the greatest artist, there is no doubt that The Cartel is going to be a huge hit.

"Reggaeton needs a little change and I'm changing too," says Daddy Yankee. "You can't rest on the past. This album is very different.My roots are still there but now there's much more, a side of me that people have never seen, including hip-hop. And I know the huge impact music has too. OK, I really hate writing about these kinds of topics, but I think you guys deserve to know whats going on lately with Daddy Yankee. Like i said a few days ago, there were rumors of Yankee having an affair. I just heard from a trusted source that indeed this rumor is true. Daddy Yankee does have, or at least had an affair with one of his dancers. And i think you guys know pretty will who the dancer is. Yes, the dancer who was with Yankee is the girl that says "Gasolina".

No wonder she appeared so many times in the music video. I know its not right for Yankee to have done this, but it was a mistake. We all make mistakes in our life, even famous artist like Daddy Yankee.

From what i hear, it seems that Daddy Yankee's wife has forgiven him for what he did, so i guess everything is now OK.
