Thanks, Bart. The BSA website says the moderator has baffles, and that's where I got the info. Greg at AOA, however, says that the Lightning Tacticals they receive have never had baffles.

John Bowket made a prototype silencer with baffles,BSA didn't think the baffles where needed, because it was so quiet already, it would only cost more to fit baffles, perhaps the export version has them but I don't think so, I haven't seen one that had them, when you hear a XL without the silencer on (10inch barrel), you'll know how good the silencer is.
The silencer isn't 7/8" it's bigger, 1", you could mount 1" scope rings on it.

inside my Massive Moderator, is nothing no baffles, just hollow.
I got it from AOA, I think Im missing something here.
