I was torn betreen the FX Tarantula and the Bsa Hornet. But because FX made some changes to the appointments and pricing of the Tarantula and because of your review I'm going with the Hornet. I must also say that Greg at AOA was the VERY VERY helpful in my decision. Last year I made a Huge mistake and bought a Talon SS and I wont be doing that again-ever-TOTALLY UNIMPRESSED WITH AIRFORCE GUNS.I am not someone who is interested in owning an M-16 look-a-like [my fault for buying]and endless moding upon endless moding. I got carried away by the EYE Candy effect that AirForce lives and dies by. My experience mirrors his. Great, accurate, quiet, powerful rifle. <BR/><BR/>I wanted to emphasize a couple of points: 1) the lack of an air gauge was never a problem/issue for me and 2) this is one HEAVY beast at 8 Lbs 10 oz without rings and a scope - that's over 8 1/2 Lbs before scoping it.
