TRUTH:

Reading my local, yellow stained commie rag ... the L.A. Daily News. One would NEVER know that more people watched Senator John McCain's televised acceptance speech, at his convention. Than watched the ascencion/coronation of his Barry'ness, the prior week [or that 70,000,000 people (that's right .... seventy million), in the U.S., watched Governor Palin's debate with Lord Verbosity].

Front page (repeat ... front page), that bird cage liner touted how near ev'ry sentient being in our universe, watched Barack's convention nomination. Presenting television ratings numbers. As if confirmation of the entire galaxy's tumbler's aligning. And the enormous creaky door opening wide, to a new tomorrow. A proof/rationalization .... of/for the newspaper's daily loving praise, of Barry.

But that pesky thing called truth (courtesy of the blogosphere). Gives us the needed illumination, that the Daily News fails to provide. Johnnie Mac, but a week later, out rated Obama. Did the Daily New's make an addition to their politcal campaign coverage? A correction, displaying the final accurate numbers? (Rather than the panty waisted obfuscation they did print). No.

Sometimes even the truth is too hard to bear, much too hard ... for the scummy little fifth/filth columnists. So they soldier on. Ammunition bag (filled with propaganda) at the ready. Proud of their mission. The death and destruction of truth.

And with the surge having not proved a failure, and ever so desperately needing another issue (with which to boost the Obama campaign). Resort to nearly every single day (for the last six months). Banging the poor economy/Bush's fault drum, on the front page. Over and fookin over again [and this second October week, wetting themselves, when their efforts (spreading manure around the tree base) bear fruit]. Their glee (front page, above the fold, large banner), growing by leaps and bounds, when some poor lost soul descends into hell.

PORTER RANCH - Monday's news of an out-of-work San Fernando Valley financial analyst killing his wife, three sons and mother-in-law before committing suicide offered a chilling symbol of the nation's economic crisis.

Watching libwuhl brains implode, not pretty. The end of truth, more so. If you blink, you just may miss the very end of atomic news (say bye bye).

In Ten Easy Lessons

What would the bloggity-sphere be without dead horses? Lib or Con, bark til you're hoarse moonbat or average white person. Today we embark on the tools necessary to straddle and giddyup, long past its expiration date ... equine flesh.

1) Choosing a mount

Perhaps a creature that no one agrees upon? [Or can't agree what they differ about (but still get quite excited or angry)]. Kind of a moving chameleon (as opposed to a stationary one). A/the sociopolitical Rorshach, from campaign hell?

Or 2) Letting the horse choose itself

Sometimes the horse o'dead begs to be ridden. In no uncertain terms. Screams out. Its' stink cries out for a saddle, boots, spurs and a crop [ride me b*tch!].

3) Silk selection

I don't recall ever meeting anyone whose favorite color is green. And .... I've only watched the ponies run a couple of times (and wagered only once as well). And last I checked this wasn't a horse racing blog (though I could be wrong?). So the finer points of garment determination rules escape my grasp (effendi/genuflection). But we're pretty sure green is a no no (white ... well, we're not so sure?).

4) Out of the gate

Hold on, keep those reins tight. And ... an aerodynamic pose is rumored to be helpful (regards top speed).

5) Don't forget to duck

Some will toss brickbats your way as you gallivant along. So this is an important lesson (but then you already knew that ... right?).

6) Don't get fancy

Stay focused [in this case it's the destination that counts (not the journey along the way)].

7) Look straight ahead

Don't be distracted by critics, naysayers or other assorted back seat drivers.

8) Even if others are telling you where to look?

Do not take your eyes off the front wheels of the rolling bus.

9) Crossing the finish line

Yippee .... wee! (You made it).

10) Collecting your bet

Sometimes a hug is nice. Me, I'm betting more an a few will need one, come the morning of November 5.

Seems the folks at LiveLeak procured a fresh pair of undies. And even a new resolve. I can't speculate on their decision. What took place at the company. What thoughts. I don't know those people, so it is not my place. I would hope their motivation went to the core of the issue? But again .... I don't know.

Beneficial fallout from the stink? More people are now aware of the vulnerability of that which we take for granted. The first ammendment. Thought. Or even to simply draw breath, live, and be free.

All these words. All these blogs. All these thoughts. And yes to some, across the divide ... paranoia. Well, I have actually looked into the eye of a Muslim possessed of the hate. Fitna the Movie

My words don't mean much. I find the film itself no great shakes [only watched it once (fifteen minutes)]. And suppose iff'n I tried, I could in fact do better (yes talk is cheap). But like much in this crazy fookin woyld, the story bout the story sometimes be greater.

Previously, I've only watched one beheading video. And don't recommend others watch even one (at all, ever). One was enough for me. I resisted for some time, but relented (no full complete scenes present in Fitna). But in watching, one is witness to a force not to be believed. A consuming evil that one begs to be fiction, or only a bad dream. But in fact is not.

And it's getting harder to know what is real anymore. The world changing ever faster. I do know the threat to the bedrock foundation of America, the first amendment, is very very real. The largest sledgehammers ever shouldered, are now proudly being swung upon her. Striking her footing in repetitive percussion. This threat does indeed come from Islamists. And even more sadly .... from some who are nestled in the very bosom of our own nation (watching Network Solutions soil and wet themselves? S c a r y. Really f*cking scary).

I know not what the future brings. I can guess. I can hope to be wrong about Ahmadinejad and The Bomb. I can hope the horrors we daily witness will recede. That sanity will somehow prevail. That the madness that boils up and over from militant radical Islam's cauldron of hate, can be stopped.

A young man from Webster Groves, leg was cut off by a freight train. The nineteen year old teen was airlifted to a Hospital, where he underwent surgery. "There is no hope for attachment" said Jennifer Arvin (hospital public relations manager).

The incident happened near Gray and Baker avenues. He was found on the ground, his leg and skateboard were found about 50 yards west of him.

About the time of the accident, an eastbound train had been traveling through Webster Groves. The intersection is marked with flashing-light signals and gate arms.

Sunday the 27th, giving pointed lengthy prime time coverage to those whose mission has been painting Mr. Giuliani, with the blood of the victims of 9/11 ('Islamist bugs didn't murder 3,000 people, hand held police/fire radios did').

CNN swaddling themselves in the pretense that he couldn't possibly win in November [even if he somehow did achieve the nomination, these (righteous beacons of hope) are droolingly lying in wait. Essentially ... Rudy already be toast (and dutifully, the most trusted name in shoes, CNN, wants you to be 'informed'). Beautiful that].

Yes indeed, Rudy has run a campaign that quite widely missed the mark. (Now with rear view mirror) foolishly giving the media an excuse (a shiny badge), not to give him any earned media. Zero. Not contesting the early scrums (chanting with repetitive fore/aft head motion: Florida). Then not changing course, not trying to steer the campaign back to (media) light [all the while Huckabee and Thompson siphoning valuable energy and interest]. A truly remarkable while of politics and media i'twas.

But it is only going to get worse my Neocon brudders and sisters. Militant radical Islam will not stop trying to end the life birthed to us (by the glorious vision of the founding fathers). In America, in our very homes, we now are but a half step away .... from a land where only one singular mainstream media view exists, across all major platforms and outlets.

The fourth estate smiling, deliriously covered in the filth of their own delusions. Hypnotizing the darling youthful nihilists, conveying them .... to lock step with the insect horde (and with a wink and a nod), handing out fifth column uniforms (replete with shiny spangles).

Even Harvard Finds The Media Biased

a joint survey by the Project for Excellence ... and Harvard's Shorenstein Center ... found that in covering the current presidential race, the media are sympathetic to Democrats and hostile to Republicans.

Democrats are not only favored in the tone of the coverage. They get more coverage period. This is particularly evident on morning news shows, which "produced almost twice as many stories (51% to 27%) focused on Democratic candidates than on Republicans."

The most flagrant bias, however, was found in newspapers. In reviewing front-page coverage in 11 newspapers, the study found the tone positive in nearly six times as many stories about Democrats as it was negative.

Breaking it down by candidates, the survey found that Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were the favorites. "Obama's front page coverage was 70% positive and 9% negative, and Clinton's was similarly 61% positive and 13% negative."

In stories about Republicans, on the other hand, the tone was positive in only a quarter of the stories; in four in 10 it was negative.

AP urges news industry to embrace online

NEW YORK - Tom Curley, CEO of The Associated Press, called on news executives Thursday to "stop pining" for the past and adapt to the new ways that news is being distributed and consumed.

At the same time, Curley said news organizations were partly to blame for the troubles they are experiencing in adapting to the new realities of the news business being wrought by the explosion of Internet use.

“I was at The Washington Post earlier today,” Brokaw said. “And in the lobby they’ve got a wonderful graphic describing how the printing press works and where it is … 75,000 copies an hour it can turn out. Its last run is at 2:15 in the morning .... and I looked at all that and I thought – ‘Ten years from now, will it be here?’ .... if you would do a hardcore analysis – probably not."

However, Brokaw said there will still be a demand for journalists to interpret information ("It’ll be probably digital 10 years from now”). “There will never not be a need for professional people to take complicated information, put it into a form that viewers and readers will need to know and want to understand,” he said.

Manilow boycotts "The View" over Hasselbeck

Barry Manilow has backed out of his scheduled appearance on the morning talk show after the show refused to pull Hasselbeck from the interview ...

Manilow, a long time friend of Rosie O’Donnell: "I wanted to let you know that I will no longer be on The View tomorrow as scheduled. I had made a request that I be interviewed by Joy, Barbara or Whoopi, but not Elisabeth Hasselback (sic)".

Manilow is currently making the rounds to promote his new album, "Greatest Songs of the Seventies.'"

In an interview with “Access Hollywood” last week, Manilow talked about his new album — and the duet he recorded with his pal O’Donnell.

The two recorded Elton John’s “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” however, the track didn’t make the new album.

“It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. She is just inspiring because you know she’s not a singer. She knows that, but she just got behind the microphone and ripped away. She was great and in tune, too,” Manilow said of O’Donnell. “The problem was, as I put the album together, it became a very romantic album. And having this thing come crashing in out of nowhere, the tone just didn’t feel right. It’ll probably wind up being a bonus cut somewhere.”

As Rudolph W. Giuliani campaigns around the country ... he has (also) raised the hackles of rescue and recovery workers by likening his experience to theirs.

On at least three occasions, in responding to accusations that the city failed to adequately protect the health of workers in the wreckage, he has boasted that he faced comparable risks himself. In one appearance he declared that he had been in the ruins “as often, if not more” than the cleanup workers who logged hundreds of hours in the smoldering pile.

Breathe deep the gathering gloom peeps, this election will be so filthy that even faux journalism. Now practiced by all and sundry. Will be considered the norm. Truth is dead. If not completely unrecognizable. G*d help us all.
