Sarah Palin charged that Sen. Barack Obama’s tax plan is “so phony that it's already starting to unravel,” continuing an argument made by her running mate Sen. John McCain this week that the Obama campaign’s level for who will receive tax cuts is creeping downward.

“Now, his whole tax plan, really, it is, it's so phony that it's already starting to unravel, and we're gonna call it the way that we see it,” Palin said at an afternoon rally in York, Pa. “It seems like every few days, we're getting a new definition now of middle class, according to their plan, whose taxes he says he won't raise on the middle class.”

Palin pointed to a comment made by Obama supporter Gov. Bill Richardson in a radio interview this morning, in which the New Mexico governor cited $120,000 as the income level where Americans would receive a tax cut under Obama’s plan.

"What Obama wants to do is he is basically looking at $120,000 and under among those that are in the middle class, and there is a tax cut for those," Richardson said. Palin pounced on the remark, adding it to Sen. John McCain’s attack earlier this week after Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Joe Biden cited $150,000 as the income level where Americans would receive a tax cut.

“And just this morning, Gov. Bill Richardson, a top surrogate for the Obama campaign, he who is working so hard to get Obama elected, Richardson, said Obama's tax plan would define middle class as $120,000 a year and under,” Palin said. “So now, we're down to less than half the original income level and, just give it a little more time, and Barack Obama will be back to raising taxes on folks earning $42,000 a year. We can't let this happen.”

A spokesperson for Richardson responded that he misspoke, meaning to say that those making less than $250,000 would not see a tax increase.

Uh, yeah, Richardson "misspoke." Because, ya know, "two hundred" sounds so much like "one hundred," and, uh, "fifty" sounds so much like "twenty." (Richardson, you will recall, was the guy Pres. Clinton put in charge of securing nuclear waste, among other weighty matters, as Secretary of Energy. I've never thought he was the sharpest tool in the shed, but can anyone believe he doesn't even understand the difference between $250k and $120k?)

If Obama can't keep Biden and Richardson in line, what possible chance does he have to stand up to the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, and Harry Reid? In addition to the additional $4 trillion that Obama wants to spend, they'll have their own priorities.

The obvious truth is that Biden and Richardson can't be bothered to memorize the phony numbers floated on the current campaign website because as insiders, they already know those numbers have no correspondence to what will actually start happening come January 2009 if Obama wins. "Changed circumstances," we'll hear then, "require changes in our plans, and after all, we campaigned on a promise to spread the wealth, didn't we?" We've seen this same farcical movie before, in 1993 after Bill Clinton ran on a platform promising a middle class tax cut, but instead pressed Congress for and got a $241 billion tax increase.

"So shut up and pay your new taxes," we'll hear. "It's patriotic."

Look, friends and neighbors, Barack Obama has already broken the biggest financial promise he's ever made, when he decided to reject the public financing he swore he'd take. Not only did he break that promise, he then proceeded to raise and spend hundreds of millions of additional dollars, including millions of dollars in illegal, untraceable contributions gathered through an internet scam based on turned-off anti-fraud software.

Now Obama, his own Veep nominee, and one of their principal campaign surrogates are all over the lot on something as simple as the financial break-point for his tax cut. They can't keep a promise or tell a straight story, but yet they insist that you must trust them with your tax dollars.

The old saying is: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." But what's the old saying for "Fool me over and over and over and over again"?

Oh yeah, I forgot: It's "Change We Can Believe In."

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-77724463721865237512008-10-23T22:57:00.002-04:002008-10-23T23:04:17.594-04:00

Because of his African heritage, Obama was treated as a virtual “Head of State” in Kenya While campaigning with Odinga, Obama was openly critical of governmental corruption under President Mibaki –usually a fair, if undiplomatic, criticism from an objective observer.

Obama’s partisan support for Odinga was considered so transparent, that the Kenyan Government spokesman, Alfred Matua, complained of political posturing to aid Odinga’s election chances: “It is very clear that the senator has been used as a puppet to perpetuate opposition politics,”And, “…we earlier thought he was mature in his assessment of Kenyan and African politics,” Mutua told AFP.”We forgive him because it is his first time in the Senate and he is yet to mature into understanding issues of foreign policy,” he said.”(“Obama’s Kenya Honeymoon Ends Abruptly After Graft Rebuke” 8/29/06) Subsequently, Ambassador Ogingo Ogego made a public complaint to the US.

WHO IS ODINGA?

Their relationship is unclear. The BBC initially reported that Obama and Odinga were first cousins. The Obama campaign has since denied a familial relationship. What we do know about Odinga is not good. A former Minister of Energy, Odinga is reported to have been set up in the oil business by the al Bakri Group and Muammar Quaddafi Abdel Qader Bakri (or- Abdulkader al Bakri) was listed on the infamous “Golden Chain”–an internal Al-Queda list of wealthy Saudi financial sponsors seized by Bosnian police in a Islamic “charity” raid in 2001. (“Terrorist Financing Staff Monograph 9/11 Commission and “The Golden Chain”) According to his website, Odinga was educated in Communist East Germany, Odinga’s eldest son is named “Fidel”. Perhaps most troubling is Odinga’s links to Islamic extremists in Kenya. According to Voice of America and the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya, on 8/29/07, Odinga signed a secret agreement (exposed 11/27) with Sheikh Abdullah Abdi of the National Muslim

Leaders Forum (NAMLEF) in which he agreed to institute Islamic law in exchange for Abdi’s support–thereby potentially disenfranchising and curtailing the liberties of millions of Christian Kenyan women. Further, he promised that Muslims suspected of terrorism would be safe from extradition—thereby establishing a ‘safe haven’ for terrorists in Kenya.

Read more about it at : Obama and Odinga: The True Story

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-11632203317067027442008-10-07T22:46:00.001-04:002008-10-07T22:47:34.456-04:00Funny Cartoon you will never see come from the Main Stream Media (MSM)

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-3508247344498711342008-10-07T00:22:00.004-04:002008-10-22T22:32:36.453-04:00
Freddie Mac Fannie Mae Bailout
This is the video that many Democrats don't want you to see as this video has been purged from many websites. How can a senator for 36 years not know that Article 1 of the US Constitution does not address the VP's role in the executive branch. This man is dumb as a pile of rocks, that he has never read our Constitution past Article 1. The minute he said that I knew he was utterly wrong in his reference to this important document. The depth of his ignorance must give some pause to reconsider his nomination, after all he is a heart beat away from actually having to learn what the Constitution has to say about the presidency in the remaining articles.

On the matter of foreign policy Biden said the following during the debate :

"When . . . along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said and Barack said, 'Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don't, Hezbollah will control it."

According to the International Crisis Group, which likewise makes it clear that Hezbollah didn't go anywhere. Heck, even Human Rights Watch (ultra liberal international NGO) admits that they're still there and targeting Israel. What happened in 2005 was that a moderately successful anti-Syrian movement broke out; I say "moderately successful" because Syrian influence in the country is still strong, and if you believe some people, is exercised through groups like Hizbollah. So nobody's really been "kicked out" at all, honestly - and while we're on the subject: just when did you or Senator Obama call for the NATO occupation of Lebanon after the Cedar Revolution? That somehow slipped under my radar and lots of other people's, too, judging from my Google searches.

At least Sarah Palin is learning about foreign policy and still has time to learn from the best minds out there (i.e. Henry Kissinger, John Bolton and others). However Biden has had 36 years to get it right but still has never been on the correct side of any foreign policy issue. How can we risk trying to train a man so ignorant about the basics of foreign policy and one not willing to change.

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-58985264414175979312008-09-27T19:57:00.004-04:002008-09-27T20:15:56.416-04:00
Debate Results : McCain 1 Obama 0

Football loving Americans would rather obtain the straight bottom line results of the Friday night debate outcome. The scoreboard never lies and there it is boys and girls in large print. It was a shutout no question about it. You knew Obama was in trouble when he uttered the following memorable line:

"I have a bracelet too... [looking all over his wrists to find the name in that bracelet]. Uuuuhhmmm his [insert name here] mother gave it to me..."

If nothing else, the first debate of 2008 proved that Senator Obama is an inexperienced amateur who does not understand the essentials necessary for the job he is seeking. At first Obama was answering the initial questions with some semblance of reasonableness. Then it occurred to me that his staff probably had a reasonable ability to predict what questions he would face, and I knew that he had gone through many hours of practice. This did not last forever. This, really, did not last forever. Gradually, the older, more experienced McCain took command and the less experienced Obama was forced into reacting instead of attacking. It was obvious that he was getting somewhat rattled; the more so as the evening progressed. First there was his inability to answer Jim Lehrer on what of his economic plans he was willing to give up to help pay for the nation's financial bailout program. It was obvious that he did not want to answer the question, and the roundabout statements he made showed clearly that he wasn't willing to give up anything. This should have, in turn, led to the conclusion that Mr. Obama had no intention of giving up his plans, regardless of the consequences.

After that, Obama was obviously frustrated and just wanted to get out of the debate and declare that he was the winner. This despite the fact that he declared over eight times during the debate that McCain was right with his answer and that he would do as McCain has said. Why vote for Obama when he is going to be doing what McCain already said was his plan? Vote then for the real deal...

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-6493267045834695352008-09-20T09:29:00.002-04:002008-09-20T09:44:56.460-04:00Obama did not make the GRADE!!!

Since we know that Obama was a community organizer and a "part-time" academician at the University of Chicago, it is only right to review Obama's work this past week. Joe Biden of Delaware. So, the question has now become how to combat the fast-talking Biden and his decades of foreign policy experience. Unfortunately, most of the Republican punditry is running scared from Biden and, in my opinion, suggesting that McCain adopt a disastrous strategy with his own pick. So, here are my thoughts on how to beat Biden, and they are probably different from what you've been hearing on the news:

Biden is a fast-talker who pulls no punches. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of foreign policy, and will try to bludgeon any debate opponent with the entire minutia of different situations. He is also a hothead who is overly fond of personal attacks. The best way to beat him is to make him look like a mean-spirited jerk (which is not hard), but unfortunately the punditry seems to think that McCain should now be forced to pick an aggressive VP who can crawl into Biden's gutter and beat him at his own game. I think that that's a horrible idea, and I'm not just saying that because I'm promoting Palin.

Biden is without doubt the best attack dog in the country, period. We aren't going to find someone who can beat him on that front. Furthermore, sinking to Biden's level would make the ticket look sleazy. Instead, we should note that Biden totally undermines Obama's "change" mantra, which McCain can now seize for himself by taking a reform minded VP from outside Washington. We can also show up Biden in the debates by selecting a calm, collected candidate who will show Biden for the hothead he is. Sarah Palin fits both bills.

For one, Palin has actually produced the sort of change that Obama and Biden can only talk about. Secondly, she will refuse to play in Biden's mudpit, which makes him look even worse. Third, she knows how to debate hotheaded opponents. Biden compares very well to John Binkley, another fast-talking attack dog who ran against Palin in the 2006 primary. Palin filleted Binkley (and incumbent Gov. Frank Murkowski) by sitting back while they ranted and then delivering crushing one liners that made them look like bratty kids ("Alaskans deserve better than this."). Finally, Biden will do everything he can to attack his opponent on personal terms, which is very dangerous when you are running against a woman or a military parent. Biden WILL say something stupid in the debates, probably belittling Sarah for having been a housewife or mentioning that Track Palin is in the Army, and Gov. Palin will be ready with a "you're no Jack Kennedy"-style response.

Biden must not be allowed to interrupt the McCain game plan, which likely calls for a young, reformist VP. And when it comes to the debates, the secret will be to allow a cooler head to prevail over the fire-breathing Joe Biden. Gov. Palin is that cool head, and a reformer to boot. If she plays the debate right, she could reduce Biden from "distinguished senator" to "schoolyard bully" and nullify any gravitas that he brings to the Obama ticket.

POSTED BY ADAM BRICKLEY, AKA "ELEPHANTMAN" AT 8/24/2008 10:29:00 AM

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-88520818680090285082008-08-24T23:42:00.002-04:002008-08-24T23:45:44.190-04:00An Example of Being PASSED OVER

Here is a video for McCain that does not even feature McCain at all.

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-40181577432302179262008-08-24T23:26:00.001-04:002008-08-24T23:29:46.923-04:00

Green Ego and Ham

O and Joe
Joe and O
I will not vote for O and Joe

I would not, could not in the Fall
For them I will not vote at all.

Barack H. The Associated Press reports on an important milestone toward that end:

The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program--a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium--reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake"--the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment--was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.

Had Saddam been left in power, it's quite possible that his regime would today be locked in an arms race with Tehran--two rival powers, both intensely antagonistic toward America, Israel and to a lesser extent the rest of the West. What was that all about???

Did you turn out your lights on Saturday night between 8 and 9 PM to observe Earth Hour? If you didn’t, or if you were like me and turned extra lights on just to Fight the Power!, you exercised that most precious of rights and the one ingredient most essential to maintaining a free society: personal choice. But the peddlers of Earth Hour nonsense don’t want you to have that right. Not, at least, when it comes to lifestyle decisions that may impact on Global Warming.

Note that I use the original term, Global Warming, not the newly preferred moniker "climate change." Climate change only came about when it became clear that Global Warming wasn’t selling so well. I, for one, will not let the alarmists get away with moving the thermometers by changing the terms. But I digress.

If the environmental movement has its way, your betters in the Sierra Club, and the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on [Global Warming] will dictate to you when you must turn off lights, what kind car or unreasonable facsimile of one you can drive, where you can live, what kind of job you can take, even how many children you can have. Does all that sound familiar? It does to me. In fact, there is one place I can think of where there is near 100% compliance with Earth Hour every night and where all of the above is already true.

While some worry about Bush and Cheney taking away our rights... the real danger of our rights being removed is coming slowly from these pseudo-environmental groups who would rather see all America in the dark rather with my right to have as many children (I mean problems) as my wife and I agree to have.

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18067095.post-78329444236541462532008-03-13T22:31:00.000-04:002008-03-13T22:33:18.424-04:00Which one is worse... Hate Pastor vs Corrupt Obama

While many are looking at the videos of Obama's pastor spewing hate speech and obscene words from the so called pulpit Others do not have to search much to find how deeply Obama's corruption roots lie. Just take a gander at the redstate.com story about Obama being a crook:

It appears that Barack Obama, allegedly decent guy and agent of "change" in Washington, requested an earmark in 2006 for $1 million taxpayer dollars for the hospital where his wife works. Said hospital, by the way, gave Michelle Obama a huge raise (nearly $200,000, more than doubling her salary) in 2005 after Barack got elected to the United States Senate. Now, I know that there are lots of ways to talk about transactions like this involving public officials - quid pro quo, etc., but I prefer to call a crook a crook and just say that we're dealing with good, old fashioned, public corruption here.

I am having an especially hard time distinguishing Obama's actions here from those of, say, Duke Cunningham, who is currently in prison. I suppose you might say that Obama injected some more efficiency into the process by eliminating the middle man, but while I'm a big fan of efficient markets, generally speaking, I happen to think that there should not be any sort of market at all for the votes of public officials.

Perhaps these silly notions of ethical propriety are what Obama intends to "change" if he is elected President. If that's the case, I'll take the status quo, thanks. Without the quid.

Fernando Caballerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10519098479739562530fernman0@gmail.com0
