I did hear Pollan on &amp;quot;Wait Wait Don&amp;#39;t Tell Me&amp;quot; a few weeks ago and Paula Poundstone hilariously told him, from her maternal point of view, that he was fulla crap. She&amp;#39;s like what about ring dings? My four food groups are in there! She did a great riff on canteloupes, too. Definitely worth listening to, if you can find the podcast.
