It was so wonderful to have them there.. so today I post some of the pictures. I shot some portraits because my candids are always so poor...We were so happy to meet Letisia, Chris' fiance and welcome her to our small family. Queen KikiCats seem to find a way into our home. Cap'n Steve never had a cat before he met me. I grew up with dogs - no cats around.. but somehow cats made their way into my life around 1984 or so and there always seems to be one (or several)who call my/our place "home" since then. Well, yes they can. If you have a photo you really like and want to share it, on the web or with family and friends or even print it, before you send it off try this little trick in Photoshop (either Elements or the regular version). I do this with both my wonderful Canon P&S pics North Georgia Galhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06424289688253070069noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-179801725315243473.post-63570202295065227622008-08-07T13:07:00.008-04:002008-08-23T09:39:32.931-04:00Lost and Found - Part 1What do you do when a beloved animal dies(our sweet Miss Lass) that has a special place in your heart?Well if you are me, and your special loss was a rescue, you notify the rescue group from where you got her. Why? Well, maybe because I know that as a person who has fostered animals before, I always enjoy finding out the good (and the sad) of these animals. I luckily have many things on my "honey do list" the first being mowing..Oh I forgot to mention that Cap'n Steve had to go to Florida to do some important errands. She and her husband Ira are an inspiration. They were married in 2006 after both had lost their spouses. They have spent the last two years traveling and seem to be enjoying themselves so very much. I love this picture of them. I had my camera for all of a month when I shot pictures of their wedding.
