Not wanting to be left out I contacted my friends at <a href="http://www.thinkgeek.com/"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">ThinkGeek</span>.com</a> to hook me up with some Star Trek paraphernalia. They were kind enough to send me a Star Trek <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">TOS</span> Tunic Tee and a Interactive <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Tribble</span>, and a Star Trek Classic Communicator. Armed with these I could get my Star Trek geek on!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://gadgetboyz.net/uploaded_images/tee-725576.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 141px; height: 200px;" src="http://gadgetboyz.net/uploaded_images/tee-725574.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/unisex/popculture/adf2/?cpg=ab">The Star Trek <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">TOS</span> Tunic Tee</a> is styled after the original uniforms that were worn in the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">original</span> series. In the original series each dept. was coded by the colour of uniform that they wore. Gold was for command and that was the colour I had. The shirt is a heavy weight shirt and is well made. The emblem on the front feels like it was made out of velvet. The shirts are <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">pre</span>-shrunk and would make the perfect gift for that Star Trek fan.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />The<a href="http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/collectibles/9c69/"> Star Trek Classic Communicator</a> is a ton of fun. It looks just like the one on the original series and it <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://gadgetboyz.net/uploaded_images/toscommunicator-765000.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 130px; height: 200px;" src="http://gadgetboyz.net/uploaded_images/toscommunicator-764976.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>is a full size replica. It has a bunch of fun functions. It has a moving moire pattern. It has a flip open metal grill. One of the functions I really like is the hailing function. You press a button close the grill and then the communicator will hail you. When you open the grill a sound effect is played asking if they should beam down the away party. It has over 20 sound effects and phrases including <i>"Spock here, Captain."</i> - <i>"<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Scotty</span> here, Captain."</i> - <i>"Transporter room ready to beam up."</i> - and more!. Nothing completes the Star Trek outfit like this communicator it is a ton of fun.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://gadgetboyz.net/uploaded_images/tribble-719020.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 140px;" src="http://gadgetboyz.net/uploaded_images/tribble-719018.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />Everybody remembers the episode where the enterprise is overrun with <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">Tribbles</span> and now you can have one of these<a href="http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/ac6e/"> interactive <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">Tribble's</span></a> for your very own. They come in two sizes large and small and they come in random shades of black, brown and grey. When you shake one of these it shakes and <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">coo's</span> at you! It looks quite funny sitting here on my desk. Again great for a fan of the show.<br /><br />So as you can see <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">ThinkGeek</span> has some pretty cool Star Trek merchandise.
