My name is Kim and as many of you know, I am a huge Quickutz fan!!<br />There are so few that I don't own and although I have my "tried and true" favourites that I head for when I'm creating...I realized that I wasn't reaching for my 12" borders as often as I do some of my other dies.<br /><br />And why not? I love the idea of creating my own borders and the shapes offered are pretty versatile and well...just delicious!!!!<br />Sooo...I decided to challenge myself and share my results with you!<br /><br />I wanted to pick a border die and try to find a few different ways to use it...you know...a little more bang for your QKbuck!!<br />What can I say...it's the Scot in me!!! ;)<br /><br />So this week I decided to play with the gorgeous new flourish from Quickutz...yummy just as it is....<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5904.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 163px; height: 588px;" src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5904.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />and even yummier when you cut it apart...<br />Here I cut it in half and used it to follow the curve of the circle<br />And it's great one to layer with...<br />I've used the flourish border along with the cloud border die here...<br />LUV that cloud border too!!!:love<br /><br /><a href="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5899.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 415px; height: 402px;" src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5899.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Or just use a piece of it...<br />Great way to use up some of the scraps!!<br /><br /><a href="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5900.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 415px; height: 398px;" src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5900.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />or use as a template...<br />here I've used the diecuts to create my own "mask"<br />I cut out the flourish border and adhered it temporarily to my white cardstock.<br />Then sprayed INK...that's right Turtles!!!<br /><br />Maya Mist Inks to be exact...and ya know what???<br />It was super easy and kinda fun!!!<br /><br />I then removed the temp dies to reveal the white space and just played!!!<br /><br /><a href="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5903.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 416px; height: 402px;" src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/freestylephotos/IMG_5903.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />Now...here is the fun part!!!<br />Show me what YOU can do with this die!!<br />And to help you out, we're offering 15% off the regular price of this die for the month<br />Upload your projects to the <a href="http://www.turtlesoup.scrappingturtle.com/album.php">gallery</a> and post the link here before month end for a chance to win some delicious blog candy.....mmmmm....QUICKUTZ candy!!! Please join me in welcoming <span style="color:#009900;">Rhonda Gordon</span>!</div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="left"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353498477251823666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 184px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 245px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SktygEIwiDI/AAAAAAAAAS0/Fqhw2ii8Jn4/s320/Rhonda+pic.jpg" border="0" /><br /><em>Hi there! My name is Rhonda Gordon (Disneyfan on the forum!) and I have had a love of scrapbooking for 13 years now!<br /><br />I started scrapping when my first child was born (that’s Stephanie – many of you turtles know her!)…when my son was born 1 ½ years later, my love of scrapbooking simply grew!<br /><br />My style and ability has grown over the years – my first attempts at scrapbooking are all of my two children in their very early years. All those books are in both their rooms and I love when I see them lying on their bedroom floors and I hear one of them say to the other “remember this?” or “I was so small” or “I used to love that”…that alone makes all the scrapbooking worth it!<br /><br />Scrapbooking is a wonderful hobby that allows me to be creative and make lasting treasures of our memories in a way that makes it fun for everyone in our family to enjoy and help them remember! My husband has even been known to look something up in our scrapbooks to get the timing right!<br /><br />I am a scrapbooker who most often scraps at home in my beautiful scrapping room but I really enjoy getting out to crops and classes when I can! I have met some wonderful people through scrapbooking – scrapbookers really are a wonderful and kind bunch!<br /><br />I am very thrilled to be the July Guest Design Team Member – time to get scapping!</em><br /><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center">And now, let's check out everyone's peeks for the month...</div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><span style="color:#009900;"></span></div><div align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Tracey</span> - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=302">It's My Party</a></div><div align="center"><br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353321699844434098" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 204px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SkrRuQ-eKLI/AAAAAAAAASs/KX5tAueBw_U/s400/Celebrate!.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Regan</span> - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=325">Mango Luau</a></p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353321202125776274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 399px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SkrRRS1GJZI/AAAAAAAAASc/42DlUgyg1EQ/s400/Regan.July.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /> </p><p align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Dee</span> - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=300">Abbey Road</a><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353321194444186722" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 389px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SkrRQ2NqZGI/AAAAAAAAASM/GkBQAng9aXg/s400/Dee.July.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /> <span style="color:#009900;">Anne Marie</span> - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=324">Calypso</a></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353321188748963442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 397px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SkrRQg_0LnI/AAAAAAAAASE/D7rCHlPpCyw/s400/AM.July.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Mellissa</span> -<a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=326">Popsicle</a><br /><br /></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353321200798743442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 394px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SkrRRN4tO5I/AAAAAAAAASU/BDJD2CzhMkc/s400/Mellissa.July.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Rhonda </span>- <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=303">Pet Shop</a></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353321209523351906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SkrRRuY0MWI/AAAAAAAAASk/tangWdG7RfY/s400/Rhonda.July.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /><br />Don't forget to join us on <a href="http://www.turtlesoup.scrappingturtle.com/index.php">the forum</a>. You ladies know I love you and think the world of you. It really means a lot that you share this day with us!!</div><br /><div></div><div>Such a support the Turtle is to us!! Not only did they provide us with something for the goodie bags but they also hosted a fantastic make &amp; take which was incredibly cute but I totally did not get a picture of it. Just take my word for it, okay!!</div><br /><div></div><div>There was also a special limited edition Crop for the Cure Mystery Kit that was full (as always) with some fabulous product! Several ladies purchased this kit to complete a layout. Prior to leaving last night, the projects were all voted on and a winner was chosen. The prize - a crop party for 6!!</div><br /><div></div><div>Lisa Elliot won with this fantastic layout about her daughter Noelle. I have to share this story too since I love it. Noelle spent an afternoon selling water bottles at the end of their driveway. And what did she do with the money she earned?!?! She send her Mom with a $20 bill to donate to the cause. How fabulous is that?!?!</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5344588774387930994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 376px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SivLLGfu13I/AAAAAAAAAQ0/ahjOyh9kiDg/s400/Mystery+Kit+winner.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><div>A shout out to the Turtle ladies though who donated to our cause $3.00 from the sale of each Mystery Kit! So generous of you! Thank you so much!!</div><br /><div></div><div>And now here are a few Turtle-y pictures from our day! I can't believe I did not get a picture of myself with Hannah. It is sneak peek time again!! This month the Design Team had kits filled with <span style="color:#009900;">3 Bugs in a Rug</span> goodness and a little <span style="color:#009900;">Bo Bunny</span> thrown in for good measure.</div><div align="left"> </div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><span style="font-size:130%;"></span> </div><div align="left"><span style="font-size:130%;">Of course, a new month also means a new Guest Design Team member as well. Please join me in giving a big turtle-y welcome to <span style="color:#009900;">Shelley Scheeringa</span> (bananagirl to those of you on the forum).</span></div><div align="left"> </div><div align="left"></div><div align="center"></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342300880108263410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 233px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SiOqWIIcF_I/AAAAAAAAAQE/B1v3OpKZjKc/s320/Centre-Island.jpg" border="0" /> <div align="center"></div><br /><div align="center"></div><em>Hello everyone, my name is Shelley Scheeringa aka bananagirl. I am a SAHM and live in Hillsburgh, with my three kids, Monique (13), Hannah (10), Colin (4) &amp; my DH of almost 23 years John. I divide my “stay at home” time volunteering in one of the three different schools my kids attend. I love being able to make a difference in their school experience. In my spare time (ha, ha) I try to squeak in some scrapbooking. I started scrapbooking in 2001 after the owner of a small craft store we had in town came home from a trade show with some goodies to show off. She said to me “this is going to be the next big thing”. She brought in a few papers, scissors, stickers &amp; glue, which I of course bought so I could try it out and I was instantly hooked. Needless to say scrapbooking has come a long way &amp; so has my style (I hardly ever use stickers now!!) I like to look to the internet for inspiration and The Scrapping Turtle has never disappointed me since I found this wonderful pond. I am looking forward to my time as part of the DT &amp; I only hope I can inspire you as I have been inspired by everyone here.<br /></em><div align="center">__________________</div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="left">And now, check out what the DT has been up to....</div><br /><div align="center">Dee - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=297">Home Grown</a></div><br /><div align="center"></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342111160287469490" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 377px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SiL9y-uVn7I/AAAAAAAAAO0/zrH5uy27i5s/s400/Dee.June.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center">Tracey - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=296">What a Hoot</a><br /><br /></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342112227316115106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 398px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SiL-xFtypqI/AAAAAAAAAPU/9FnVT01SSF4/s400/Daddies.jpg" border="0" /> <div align="center">Regan - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=294">Butterfly Kisses</a></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342111166068914850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 382px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SiL9zUQveqI/AAAAAAAAAPE/2zlYnh0GoiI/s400/Regs.June.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center">Mellissa - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=295">Snips and Snails</a><br /><br /></p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342111162096902114" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 399px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SiL9zFdvX-I/AAAAAAAAAO8/z2HX_ixO--g/s400/Mellisa.May.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /><br />Anne Marie - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=304">Bo Bunny's U Bug Me</a></p><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342111155428151634" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 209px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SiL9ysnyUVI/AAAAAAAAAOs/mCo1gwN35Fs/s400/AM.June.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div align="center">Shelley - <a href="http://www.scrappingturtle.com/productGroup.php?defid=4&amp;itemid=298">Happy Bird-Day</a></div><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342111170404440434" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 391px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/SiL9zkaaWXI/AAAAAAAAAPM/KFVY6o4kpkY/s400/Shelley.June.Sneak.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><p align="center"><span style="font-size:130%;">And don't forget to pop by <span style="color:#009900;">the forum</span> on June 15th for the full reveal!! I know there are some folks who weren't able to make it on Friday but purchased the kit on Saturday. Please note: that this sample varies slightly as I did not have all of the die cuts, etc that were used Friday night so I made due with product from my stash. You never know what you are going to get but that is so part of the fun. Each kit contains coordinating patterned paper &amp; embellishments. Each month the contents are different and the specifics might vary slightly depending on what line is being used. Never doubt though that these little packages of goodness are always fabulous and always well worth the $8.99.</div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">They are available the Sunday of each month and fly off the shelves!! If you want one you must act fast!!</div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">And once you get them, what do you do with it?!?! Well, after the fun of opening it up and checking out the surprise goodies you get to take it home and create. Load your work up to the <a href="http://www.turtlesoup.scrappingturtle.com/album_cat.php?cat_id=12">online gallery</a> between the 21st and 28th of the month for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the store. The winner is chosen by a vote of all members of the <a href="http://www.turtlesoup.scrappingturtle.com/index.php">forum</a>. </div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">With every contest of course comes rules. These are included in your Mystery Kit for your easy reference. The basics are that you are to use your kit to creat a 1 or 2 page layout. You have to use a little bit of everything in the kit and are permitted to add cardstock only. There are a few exceptions to this cardstock rule though - you may add rub-ons or stickers for titlework and you have several free items that you may use to your heart's content (ink, paint, chalk, stitching, doodling).</div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">As an example, here is what was included in the April Mystery Kit.....</div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331777522698070210" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 324px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5HaG3UqMI/AAAAAAAAAME/-kH3xXLMsLk/s400/April+Mystery+Kit.jpg" border="0" />And here is what some of our forum members did with it..... </div><div align="left"><br /><span style="color:#009900;"></span></div><div align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Shelley Scheeringa<br /></span><br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331780769053383346" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 391px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5KXEevmrI/AAAAAAAAAMs/72hKRASPxRM/s400/Shelley.APril+Mystery.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Marissa Colwell</span></p><p align="center"><span style="color:#000000;">(Based on a sketch by Becky Fleck)</span></p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331784174257627954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 397px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5NdR2s4zI/AAAAAAAAAM0/1xAC7soU5WM/s400/Marissa.APril+Mystery.jpg" border="0" /></p><div align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Heather Haggett</span></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331779829694134290" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 201px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5JgZGC-BI/AAAAAAAAAMU/WzzweKIIN_I/s400/Heather.April+Mystery.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">Ria Jenkins</span><br /></p><p align="center"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5J1ft4PFI/AAAAAAAAAMc/Ztwnfrl6x6U/s1600-h/Ria.April+Mystery+1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331780192249068626" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5J1ft4PFI/AAAAAAAAAMc/Ztwnfrl6x6U/s200/Ria.April+Mystery+1.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5J1oOHJcI/AAAAAAAAAMk/f0l4SRD6qeg/s1600-h/Ria.April+Mystery+2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331780194531747266" style="WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 198px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5J1oOHJcI/AAAAAAAAAMk/f0l4SRD6qeg/s200/Ria.April+Mystery+2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><span style="color:#009900;">Angela Park</span></p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331779825467094402" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 194px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5JgJWPdYI/AAAAAAAAAMM/DWDI2Id7IGs/s400/Angela.April+Mystery.jpg" border="0" /> <span style="color:#009900;">Christine Marsh<br /></span><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331784178672668882" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 194px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf5NdiTVENI/AAAAAAAAAM8/1OlOTGEIA5E/s400/MissusMarsh.April+Mystery.jpg" border="0" />Part of the fun is to see everyone's very different takes on the same product! </p><br />Remember, kits are available the last Sunday of the month! Every layout or card could use a little sparkle!<br /><br />Have a look at the different foil, glitter and bead colors next time you are at the store!<br /><br />We, your Design Team, are going to help you out by giving you a bunch of different ways to use this fabulous product so you can see the versatility in it.<br /><br /><span style="color:#009900;">Dee</span><br />I chose to use it on a layout and lately I have a "go big or go home" kinda attitude so I used it ALL! The best thing about this product is a little goes a long way... not only did my project use very little of the actual product, I barely needed anything else on the layout! Big impact!<br /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331706558635914658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 396px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf4G3dIdNaI/AAAAAAAAALc/nsxPIHAcZ3I/s400/Dee.Stix2.jpg" border="0" /><span style="color:#009900;">Regan</span><br />I used the Stix with the white foil, such a cool effect, I wanted it to look like paint...VOILA.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331706566968123906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 270px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf4G38LAogI/AAAAAAAAAL0/AsUcyhhNieM/s400/Regan.Stix2.jpg" border="0" /><br /><span style="color:#009900;">Tracey</span><br />When I heard Stix2 was going to be our Product Highlight this month I wasn't quite sure. I had never used this before but I jumped in and played and it turns out it was lots of fun! I love this stuff and expect to use it more often! I used micro beads on the 'puddle' chipboard and brown foil on the tips of the butterfly wings.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331707161939524050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 391px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf4HaknPudI/AAAAAAAAAL8/j6l1rSRkyXU/s400/puddle+jumpin%27.jpg" border="0" /><span style="color:#009900;">Mellissa<br /></span>I have had Stix2 since last years Scrapfest and have not used it much. Actually, I tried to use it and couldnt figure it out, lol....Till now. Once I did it 'properly', I had fun with it. It really was easy to use and the effects are nice. I made a card using my QK flower die and the butterfly die along with the newest Nesting Label. On the butterfly I used the fine glitter. The flowers are the medium glitter and for the flower stem I used the foil.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331706559595720274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 302px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf4G3gtSrlI/AAAAAAAAALk/yF4ahybhr9Y/s400/Mellissa.Stix2.jpg" border="0" /> <span style="color:#009900;">Anne Marie</span><br />I added the stix2 beads to the inside pedels of the chipboard flower.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331706554548612066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 399px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf4G3N596-I/AAAAAAAAALU/fvda1DNRN1U/s400/AM.Stix2.jpg" border="0" /><span style="color:#009900;">Pam</span> I used the Stix2 glue to make the dots on the chipboard I painted white, and I used the Stix2 tape to make the lines.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5331706561084501666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 395px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WPKg5NLdg7E/Sf4G3mQPrqI/AAAAAAAAALs/WsIKpaR_vh0/s400/Pam.Stix2.jpg" border="0" /></p><p>Alright, now it is your turn! I live in Brantford with my amazing husband of almost 2 years, and our 2 Golden Retreivers and 2 cats.
