Dear bird that somehow managed to poop on my kitchen window. I have to admit, it was an amazing shot; so I'm going to let a professional sports player give my rebuttal.

Umm, so yeah, it was a good game. We held in there ahhh until the very end, but then you know, that bird, ummm, you know, I guess he just, ahhhh, made an amazing shot.

I just don't get it.

Just in case you're wondering who she looks like the most, out of the wifey and I, here's a pic of a pic that was taken of me an hour after birth and Adele an hour after birth.

Since Adele has been home I've read to her parts of Oscar Wilde's - The Importance of Being Earnest , she's listened to two thirds of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, has an affinity for The Ladykillers Soundtrack, and is drawing a crowd like it's nobody's business.

I'll upload more photos to Flikr this weekend and I have a video in the works, but if you think for a minute I'm going to become a mommy blogger and this is going to become a cute fest, well . . . you're probably partially right though mostly wrong.

I sense my millions upon millions of nonreaders are in need of some guidance; it's like a disturbance in the force that smells like bed sheets soaked in booze sweat and nacho cheese.

So I take a page from JACC's Steel Construction Manual of Dating.

Lesson 2: Two Unequal Angles - Properties of sections -

At first this new chapter on engineering in relation to dating perplexed me. I guess laying out the foundation for dating isn't simple and I poured over the charts, formulas, and specifications searching for a universal dating truth.

It was a dark and stormy night that I discovered the truth to love behind this steely mystery.
The night air was full of electricity. The T.C. finally had a little summer rain and it arrived with menacing looking clouds, pounding thunder, and crazy flashes of lightening.

After one such flash I jumped up and screamed "Eureka!" which caused the dogs to go into a fit of barking, the cat to jump into the air, and the wifey to kick me out to sleep on the couch.

I immediately set to work.

Now, I'm sure we've all been in a relationship where at some point or another we got the feeling things just aren't lining up how we expect. On the surface everything seems like it should be perfect, but on the inside it just isn't right. That's where the chapter 'two unequal angles' comes in.

You see, the answer to a successful relationship is more than just some formulaic standards on seeking a mate; it's more than what a person does, or how they look, or how much you have in common, or how long you've known each other.

We all know that, but sometimes we like to pretend it's not the case. We try hard at making things right and then we feel bad when it just doesn't work out, two unequal angles.

Apparently there's only two options in this situation, separate or seek science.

The science says you have to get "long legs back to back" which I assume is a metaphor for something so profound and true it must work. I've yet to figure out that part, so I say dump'em.
Who really wants to do a bunch of math to make a relationship work anyway?

If I Were A . . . Rich Man?

Did you know that just the other day someone called me a smug rich bastard?

For starters, it may be a cliche' but I've considered myself rich my whole life. Even when I was really poor; and I was very poor. Ironically, the person who called me a rich smug bastard was most likely a rich smug hipster being put through college by mommy and daddy. Me? I paid for all of my schooling and worked three jobs at the same time just so I could live.

I may be smug sometimes, but rest assured it has nothing to do with wealth.

Or atleast that's what I thought until I saw Sornie's post Oil and poop related?

Which totally explains some things.

Like, when I say "That wing of the house is closed" after I use a bathroom in the North Wing of the house. The servants get so peeved when I close a wing of the house because naturally if the wing is closed they are not getting paid. Also, while the smell passes I like to fly to Hawaii in my private jet. I mean, it really does stink, that can't be healthy.

It also may explain some of the things I say when I fart. Such as "that fart smelled like victory and platinum","That smart smelled like success", and "that fart smelled like gold bars and a movie deal".

(Did you see I typed 'smart' instead of fart? Freudian slip or squeezed cheese?)

People tend to think these claims are a bit trumped up, but according to Sornie in his post " Oil and poop related? " that gas just might be money in the bank.

Sornie puts the anal in the oil/poop analogy with "My stomach is sending my brain messages telling me that I may be headed to the bathroom with some urgency due to the copious amounts of meat I've eaten in the past 24 hours"

"In other words, if my stomach isn't totally fucking with me, I may have to poop soon but I don't see news stories about my impending need for Charmin"

I think he's on to something and maybe it's time we all bought futures in the shit industry.
