Why should you have to settle your case for less than it's full value? Now, you can get the cash you need to pay the mortgage, car payments, and the other things you need. Many wrong diagnosis, treatments, and surgeries occur due to a number of reasons.</span> </span><br /><br /><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:verdana;">Medical staffs are often overworked and in stressful conditions. Medication dosageages are not always monitored and administered correctly. Files are often switched unknowingly. Surgeries are not properly marked and specified as to what needs to be done, and sometimes surgical equipment is left inside the body, causing serious damage and infection. When mistakes occur, </span><span style="font-family:verdana;">often there is nothing a person can do but suffer the loss of a job, way of life, or a friend or loved one. </span></span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="color:#000099;">Most patients do receive quality care even in these conditions, and changes are being implemented to reduce these mistakes caused by human error. We expect our care givers to know how to treat our illnesses and health problems. After all, didn't they go to shool to learn how to do these procedures and learn the problems? Millions however, do receive quality health care and healthcare workers should be appreciated and applauded for their work. There are however, many serious mistakes that could be avoided by changing the way we think about hospitals and health care. Along with things that you, the patient, can do to help avoid medical mistakes. </span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">There are many wrongful diagnosis, treatments, and surgeries in medical facilities. There are close to 100 medical mistakes made daily in some hospitals. One medical mistake left two newborn twins fighting for their lives because of being injected with 1000 times the amount of blood thinner they should have received because of a dosing mistake. There are wrong site surgeries, sponges, and other surgical items left inside the body which cause problems. Wrongful diagnosis, surgeries, and switched files. </span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">What's Being Done to Avoid Mistakes</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">In defense of health care workers though, they do give good care in general. They are often overworked and in stressful conditions. Many are required to work more hours than they should with little rest. Hospitals and clinics are now beginning to implement new policies and procedures that will help to eliminate some of these problems of human error. </span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Changes are being made that will computerize files and barcode systems for patients. Along with automatic medication dispensing machines to avoid overdosing a patient. Dosages are entered into computers and rechecked for accuracy with scanners. Most of the larger facilities are working on this problem at this time, and many more will be doing it soon. Health care workers are also </span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">trying to avoid infections by frequent handwashing with hand sanitizers and disposable rubber gloves, avoiding chit chat, and by removing jewelry and ties, that can spread infection. When doing surgical procedures, they are marking more specific areas as to where and what surgeries are being performed.</span></div><br /><div></span></div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">Things You Can Do To Avoid Mistakes</span><br /><br /><br /><ol><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Find "high tech hospitals" that are accredited.</span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Ask if doctors follow the correct protocal.</span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Ask plenty of questions, like what is being done to you, and what the expected result will be. </span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Check the wristband for accuracy. </span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Know what medications you are taking and what they are for. </span></li></ol><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">Be Your Own Advocate</span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">There are times when you will also need to seek a second or third opinion of a diagnosis. The primary source of injury is continuous repeated and/or static flexion of the fingers and hands in a unidirectional (one way) motion ( i.e. mouse use, typing, writing, gripping work tools, etc.), repeating the same motions again and again, over an extended period of time. In cases of repeated strain injuries, there are other factors, such as applied force, fixed body position, and the pace of work requiring repeated or long-term static movements, and are contributing factors in becoming afflicted with a disabling repeated strain injury.<br /></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">Therefore, the main effort to protect workers from repeated strain such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, cubital tunnel syndrome, guyon's syndrome and other injuries should focus on limiting or “counteracting" activities that require constant overuse of the flexor muscles of the hand and forearm. If left unchecked, repeated or long-term static finger and wrist flexion eventually leads to muscle imbalance and the onset of one of the many debilitating repeated strain injuries listed above. Repetitive strain injuries can be achieved by implementing of workplace standards that involve:<br /></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">* Job/task rotation<br />* Individual-specific ergonomic work stations<br />* Quick breaks<br />* Stretching program<br />* Exercise program<br /></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">Putting the workplace standards listed above, into effect, are extremely important in maintaining structural integrity and muscle balance of the entire upper extremity ( i.e. Fingers, hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, upper arms, and shoulders).<br /></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">Be sure to consult your workplace company employee health director for assistance if you are beginning to suffer from a repeated strain injury. The practices listed above need to be applied in order to keep the injury from getting any worse. Prevention is always cheaper than rehabilitation, both physically and financially!</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">When these types of injuries do occur, it is sometimes possible to get a cash advance on the pending lawsuit, depending on the severity and status of the case, and if your state allows funding on worker's comp. cases. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">About the Author:</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="color:#000099;">Linda Hughes of Freedom First Funding, is the Chief Operations Officer. Diagnosed with cancer in her remaining kidney that was working well , she was treated for that and put on dialysis, and continued to have problems. After the surgery, tests proved she did not have cancer after all.</div><div> </div><div>A gentleman from Texas was badly injured in a fall resulting from a fall where he lived because there was no hand rail on the side of the stairs. </div><div> </div><div>A lady from Pennsylvania was injured when a window crashed down on her head and neck that have caused traumatic brain injuries that she may possibly never recover from.</div><div> </div><div>Still another was a slip and fall at a casino in California that resulted in serious injuries to her back and neck that required surgery.</div><div> </div><div>One more was an insurance bad faith case that we were able to get an advance on while the client awaited settlement. </div><div> </div><div>These are just a few of the cases that we have had the pleasure of helping clients awaiting settlements on their lawsuits. Good News! Attorneys and lawfirms that need cash to remain solvent for the duration of their cases, and to avoid premature settlement on those cases is available!</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Sometimes, even the most successful attorneys and lawfirms have peaks and valleys in their cash flow. There is often a need to pay for an expert witness to substantiate a client's case, along with other litigation expenses.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">By matching the timing of loan repayments with the settlement of specific cases, </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000099;">lawsuit funding programs help to avoid cash flow problems. Payments are not required until each individual case is brought to it's initial resolution. There are no monthly interest payments on the entire balance provided to the firm, as there is with traditional financing. <span style="font-family:Verdana;">Attorney/lawfirm loans can help the business to grow and relieve financial burdens. </span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">Ethics codes state that interest expenses incurred during litigation, are re-imbursible to a firm as a cost of litigation when a case has been successfully litigated. This results in the firm only having to pay interest when the case is not favorably resolved, and also results in greatly reduced interest when compared to traditonal financing.</span> </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">About the Author:</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Linda Hughes, is Chief Operations Officer at Freedom First Funding, and </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">is a full service legal funding broker and can help your firm find the necessary funding needed to avoid premature settlement on your cases. </span></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="color:#cc0000;"><strong>Free Consultations</strong></span> Call toll free:</span> <strong>877 386 3374 </strong></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">visit: <a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/">http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/</a></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1769100342198002615-8561288315745080965?l=lawsuitadvancesfreedomff.blogspot.com'/></div>My Business Life ljhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08349238431266541989lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1769100342198002615.post-20638042537203448092009-02-06T10:41:00.000-08:002009-02-06T12:31:53.496-08:00Top 10 Case Types for Lawsuit Advances<a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/money1-768929.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 165px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 130px" alt="" src="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/money1-768919.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#cc0000;">Fundable Lawsuit Advances</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">There are different types of cases that lawsuit advance companies will underwrite for plaintiffs with pending lawsuits. This often means a possible trip to </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">the emergency room at the local hospital.</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">Emergency rooms are often understaffed during this time because of vacations </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">of doctors and other care staff, which means your level of care can suffer. </span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"><strong>Top 5 ways to avoid emergency room malpractice are:</strong></span><br /><br /><br /><ol><li><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">Make sure you are seen by a qualified doctor that has completed all of their post graduate training, and works for the hospital. ER's are often staffed with doctors in training, (residents) and should be supervised by an experience senior physcian. If you are seen by a resident, you should also ask to be seen by the attending physcian to assure the same diagnosis. </span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">Try to ask a lot of questions such as, "What is the reason for this test, or medication?" "Are there any alternative treatments for my situation?" "What happens if I don't have the recommended treatment?" This way you can make an intelligent decision as to the right treatment. </span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">X-rays and MRI's need to be read by the attending radiologist, not the emergency room radiology resident. if the attending radiologist isn't available, ask the ER doctor to read the films themself. </span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:arial;"><span style="color:#000099;"><strong>Ask</strong> if any medication given to you in pill or IV line, has a potential for allergic reaction. Because allergic reactions can either kill you or cause other serious problems, you must be aware of them.</span></span></li></ol><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"> 5. If you have any medical allergies be sure to tell the ER staff so they can make note of it on </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"> </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"> your medical chart. Medical allergy bracelets should be available to warn the staff of your </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"> allergies, so be sure to ask if they don't provide one for you. </span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">Malpractice attorneys advise keeping these tips in mind while in an ER during holiday periods. </span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">If, unfortunately, something does go wrong when visting an ER, and a lawsuit is filed against a doctor or hospital, lawsuit cash advances are often available from companies that will advance cash based on the strenght of the malpractice case, months, or even years before the case settles.</span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:arial;"><span style="color:#000099;"><strong>About the Author</strong>: </span></span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">Linda Hughes is a lawsuit cash advance broker, and the Chief Operations Officer at Freedom First Funding. In these cases, dependants </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">and beneficiaries can file a lawsuit to seek compensation for the loss of the victim's </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">life. The effect on the family is usually devasting emotionally and financialy, and </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">are key factors in the final amount of the settlement. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">Often the victim is a spouse and was the only source of income for a family or major </span><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">contributer of income. Compensations for the wrongful death must take into account the remaining lifetime earning potential for that person. That can be a substantial amount, and should be structured or invested so that there can be a steady income for many years.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:arial;">The problem is, the lump sum payment for the wrongful death, is not paid until the case is settled either in or out of court. Settlements can take only months, or sometimes years, leaving the family in financial hardship.</span> </span></div><br /><div><span style="color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:arial;"><span style="color:#000099;">So, just how does a family pay their mortgage and other expenses after a wrongful death in the </span><span style="color:#000099;">family? How do they replace that income? The solution is sometimes to consider a non recourse cash advance on their pending lawsuit. Some other terms that are used to describe this type of advance are pre-settlement funding, lawsuit loan. litigation funding, legal funding, lawsuit funding or settlement loans. </span></span></div><br /><div><span style="color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:arial;">Full service legal funding brokers can help you get that much needed cash advance until your case settles. Many other types of cases are funded as well. Cases such as personal injury, auto accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, elder abuse, worker's comp third party, railroad accidents, commercial cases. wrongful conviction, product liability, drug related, some class action cases, industrial cases, attorney/lawfirm loans, expert witness programs, seaman's claims (maritime) bad faith, wrongful termination, and more</span>. </span></div><br /><div><span style="color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">When you apply for a lawsuit advance there are no up front fees, no monthly payments, and no credit checks. Even though a minor dispute may look simple, it has the potential to become a very serious and costly lawsuit. Disputes can turn into litigation, and the victim party needs the help of an experienced commercial attorney to resolve the problem. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Always try to hire an attorney on a contingency fee arrangement so that if there is no recovery in the case, there are no attorney fees, although a client may be charged court costs and expenses. Attorneys hired on a contingency basis also are a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">powerful</span> motivator to work hard on the case. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Commercial litigation takes a while to resolve and can be worrisome for business plaintiffs. The future of a business can even be at stake because of financial worries and cash flow. Related expenses can drain personal and business assets and put the business at risk. Business investors and customers may even pull away causing even more problems. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Business plaintiffs may have to accept a lower value for their case that could be worth millions, just because they need cash. It is possible to get a cash advance on pending business <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">litigation</span> before the case is settled. The advance is based solely on the strength of the case. These are called non recourse lawsuit loans and are <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">only</span> repaid when and if there is a recovery in the case. Understanding how litigation </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">funding works, can help to make the right decision about lawsuit </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">funding. Other terms that are used for this type of funding are, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">pre-settlement loan, lawsuit loan, case loan, lawsuit cash </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">advance, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">plaintiff cash advance, litigation funding or finance, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">lawsuit funding, etc. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">1.</span> <span style="color:#000099;">Plaintiffs should not think of an advance to solve all of their </span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">cash flow problems, and should understand that an advance is </span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;"><strong>not</strong> another way to get cash for their settlement. It is an <strong>advance</strong> to enable the plaintiff to meet expenses until the case settles either in or out of court. </span></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">2. Litigation funding is not really a "loan". It's a cash advance based on the strength of the case that an investor of a litigation case is willing to advance on the possible successful outcome of the case. Companies that do these types of advances, invest in the lawsuit itself, rather than advancing cash to plaintiffs in the form of a loan. These are <strong>non recourse</strong> advances, which mean that if there is no recovery in the case, the plaintiff only pays back the advance if the case is successful. Attorneys take these cases on a contingency bases, and they too, only get paid if the recovery is successful.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">3. Lawsuit loans do not require credit checks, employment, or bankruptcy status. It is based strictly on the strength of the case. There are no risks for the plaintiff and no monthly payments to be made as with traditional loans. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">4. Although similar in what they do, each company is different, and charge fees and interest differently. Because lawsuit finance companies take on a lot of risk</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">on these cases, the interest rates will vary depending on the amount of risk involved in the case. Even good cases can sometimes be thrown out by the court, and called "frivolous." With this in mind, investors charge high rates on successful cases in order to make up for the cases that are unsuccessful.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">5. Fees that are asocciated with lawsuit finance are different with each company. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">In general the fees include: underwriting, origination, and multiplier fees. Some also have documentation, closing, and premature pay-off fees. These fees are added to the amount of the payback, and are based on how long it takes for the case to settle. Be sure to check with each company for their terms before applying. As with traditional types of loans, certain fees apply.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">6. Use alternative funding whenever possible, because lawsuit loans can be expensive. Traditonal funding sources, do however, require monthly payments which can also strain the budget. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">7. Investors will advance up to 10% of what they feel the case is worth, and will talk with the attorney to help determine the viability and value of the case. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">8. Cases that are not approved for funding, do not mean that it isn't a good case, it just means that investors are not interested in the case. Sometimes the case is not worth what the plaintiff is asking for an advance. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Funders determine the amount they are willing to invest, sometimes less than what the plaintiff requests. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">9. Other reasons for a denial are the unwillingness of the attorney to either supply the necessary information, or sign the contract to put the lien on the recovery.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">10.When approved for funding, a written agreement is signed by the plaintiff and the attorney puts a lien on the successful outcome of the case. Cash is received in 24-48 hours of the investor receiving the executed agreement.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong>In Conclusion</strong>, a plaintiff applying for a lawsuit advance, should understand the process and make the decision if that is the best way to proceed. This way the plaintiff won't be disappointed because it wasn't what was expected. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Author:</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Linda Hughes is the founder and president of <strong>Freedom <span style="color:#cc0000;">First</span> Funding</strong>, and is a full service legal funding broker, experienced in helping plaintiffs thoughout the US, obtain advances on their pending lawsuits. Past statistics show that only </span><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">about </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">1% of traffic on our highways are motorcycle and motorbike</span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">riders. Ridership is increasing steadily though, because of today's </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">extremely high energy costs. Many drivers are abandoning their larger </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">SUV's and autos in exchange for a motorscooter or motorcycle which only takes a few gallons to fill the tank, and gets great gas mileage. Motorcycle accident claims are small in number, but they suffer 19% of deaths and serious injuries.</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">In 2002, over 600 motorcyclists died in traffic accidents, and 7000 suffered from serious injuries. Head injuries are the most common cause of death and serious injuries for motorcyclists, and are 45 times more likely to be killed than a driver of a car. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">Causes of Motorcylce Accidents</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">There are a number of reasons that cause accidents such as other road users, poor highway maintenance of road surfaces, and the lack of any type of physical restraints or protection for the rider. Another problem is the lack of visibility to other highway users. There is only a 1/3 visibility of that of an automobile. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">General Rules For Motorcycle Accidents</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">First, if the police are on the scene, always make sure that a detailed report of the accident is taken, even if it seems unimportant. The smallest damage of the bike, personal injury, or anything carried on the bike can be important for a successful accident claim. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Second, you can make a claim for compensation if the accident was not your fault or was only partially your fault. The speed at which you were traveling, along with whether you were wearing a protective helmet will be among the details that will be important when fault is being determined. </span></div><div></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Third, accidents should be reported as soon as possible because timeliness is very important. If the person responsible for the accident either doesn't stop or has no insurance, you still can make a claim. It will however, be handled by the Motor Insurers Bureau, and is an organization that provides compensation for accident victims involving unisured drivers, and hit and run cases. </span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#990000;"><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#cc0000;">Is It Easy? No</span></span></div><span style="color:#990000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></span><br /><p><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">Dealing with a motorcycle accident or injury can be complicated and needs to be taken care of quickly and with professional help. What if you've been seriously injured and can't take care of it quickly? The best thing you can do, is to find a personal injury attorney to handle your claim details for things like injury assessment, accident reports, claim preparations, and so on. </span></p><p><span style="color:#990000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000099;">Most importantly, you don't have to risk anything because of a "no win- no fee" arrangement, that means if your case wins, you keep the settlement, and if it loses, your attorney pays all the cost.</span> </span></span></p><p><span style="color:#990000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Don't Take Extra Risk - Be Safe</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Although motorcycle riding is a wonderful experience, it is very risky, and injuries can be very serious. Don't take another risk by trying to handle your claim by yourself after an accident, or employ a company that cares more about the money than about your wellbeing and a successful claim. Use a personal injury attorney that will take your case on a "contingency" basis.(No win-No Pay)</span></p><p><span style="color:#990000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000099;">There are companies that advance cash on pending lawsuits that are only repaid when and if your case reaches a successful recovery. There are no risks, no monthly payments, noupfront fees, and no credit checks on <strong><a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/">lawsuit loans.</a></strong></span></span></p></span><span style="font-family:verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#000099;">Freedom <span style="color:#cc0000;">First</span> Funding</span></strong> <span style="color:#000099;">offers Free Consultations</span></span><span style="color:#000099;"> for advanbces <span style="font-family:verdana;">on pending Lawsuits. </span><span style="font-family:verdana;"><strong>Call today</strong> to see if your case qualifies for a <strong>Cash Advance</strong> to help with expenses until your case settles. <strong><span style="color:#cc0000;">360 892 6667</span> toll free: <span style="color:#cc0000;">877 386 3374</span></strong></span></span><span style="color:#cc0000;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family:verdana;"><a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/">http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/</a></p></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1769100342198002615-277442714392599011?l=lawsuitadvancesfreedomff.blogspot.com'/></div>My Business Life ljhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08349238431266541989lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1769100342198002615.post-84797122104024086262008-07-23T09:07:00.000-07:002008-08-18T10:21:34.487-07:00Grow Your Law Firm With Litigation Funding<a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/MICATFHB6TCAJ98POECAJQ1R5YCARJG1RYCAGR5IJUCAW5ZESACATO3DBUCANVZ9EWCA70P3H5CACRSMVNCAM8UMLYCAW9UYV9CA7VUA0ECAF5CPLDCANYXCD0CAL1CIF8CAIEKVTTCAVUVRDM-790918.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/MICATFHB6TCAJ98POECAJQ1R5YCARJG1RYCAGR5IJUCAW5ZESACATO3DBUCANVZ9EWCA70P3H5CACRSMVNCAM8UMLYCAW9UYV9CA7VUA0ECAF5CPLDCANYXCD0CAL1CIF8CAIEKVTTCAVUVRDM-790903.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#cc0000;">Law Firm Financing</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Contingency arrangements in the legal profession were</span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">designed </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">to help the "little guy" stand up to big and powerful </span></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">defendents, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">and help them overcome inspite of tremendous </span></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">inequities. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Lawsuit advances help to ensure justice for the </span></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">small plaintiff</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> in </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">cases where the two parties in a courtroom </span></span></div><div><span style="color:#000099;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">are not evenly </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">matched in financial resources.</span></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">A plaintiff with modest resources, no longer needs to have a lot of cash to </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">address an injustice. When a plaintiff has no alternative than to enter a court case, attorneys will sometimes take on the case on a contingency basis. The plaintiff does not pay any fees until the case reaches a favorable settlement. If the attorney is unsuccessful in winning the case or negotiating an adequate out of court settlement, they receive no compensation and the plaintiff pays nothing.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Contingency cases create a challenge for attorneys because they also have to</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">wait months or years for a settlement, just as the plaintiff does. The attorney puts in effort and resources which can result in a subtantial drain of the law</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">firms cash flow. When a firm takes on several of these cases, it becomes very difficult. They still need to pay the staff and keep the business running, </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">whether their cases have settled favorably or not. Cases like personal injury, wrongful death, malpractice, and others. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong>Law firm financing</strong> can be a solution for these cases. Law firm financing allows</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">attorneys and law firms to get a cash advance against a package of cases. While plaintiff cash advances offer cash up front for one case, law firm advances help with the needs of the attorney and firm against a number of pending lawsuits and appeals cases. These types of advances can be used for expert witnesses, </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">and other things to give them a position of strength, and helps to cover expenses while they are trying to obtain justice for their clients. This gives them time to</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">get the best possible settlement for their clients, while enabling them to take on more cases, which keeps the firm growing. Law firm funding helps legal professionals grow their practices and client bases. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">There are special sections where lawfirms can learn about business lawsuit funding. This information is for attorneys that want to give the highest level of service to their clients and lay the groundwork for their practices. </span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong>Apply Today! In many cases you can apply for another advance, depending on the value of your case. By stretching out your advance, it increases the final payout that you receive from your settlement when your case is resolved</span>.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">Basic Steps From Former Plaintiffs</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">1. Pay only the minimum on your debts and bills. Don't worry about trying to pay them off at this time. Keeping your bills current now, will enable you to pay them off or pay them down substantialy, when your case settles favorably. Even though it is tempting to pay off credit cards and other debts, it is important to be able to pay monthly bills in the future. Always try to avoid penalties and late fees that increase your interest rate and balances.</span> </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">2.</span> <span style="color:#000099;">Slice unneeded expenses like eating out, buying unecessary items and services. Your cash should only go for essentials. List your expenses and monthly bills to see if you can cut out anything out of your budget. Use your advance carefully and eliminate excess spending. Cancel magazines, and newspapers. Either downgrade or discontinue cable tv services. Cook all your meals at home. </span></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">These are just a few ways to save money. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">3. Use cash for your purchases. Studies show that when credit and debit cards are used, there is a tendancy to overspend. So leave them at home and only take the minimum cash with you for your purchases. Set a daily limit for spending and stick to it.</span> </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">4. Call your creditors and try to negotiate lower monthly payments for a few months. This helps tremendously if you are already behind on your bills. Ask the lender to drop late charge penalties and non payment fees. Ask them if you can pay less for a few months. They don't want you to default or refinance with another lender. Often they are willing to work with you to keep your business and </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">keep payments coming in. You will agree to pay a little less each month for a while, and eventually pay more to make up the difference. It is important to keep your bills current with your cash advance. If the lender agrees to let you pay less for a while, always make sure your payments are made on time.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">By using your advance on neccessary expenses only, you ensure more settlement money when your case is settled either in or out of court. if you lose or abandon your case, careful use of your advance will help you to make the most of your advance. Keeping current on your expenses while rebuilding your life, will give you a fresh start financially. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Apply today to see if your case qualifies for funding. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong>Freedom <span style="color:#cc0000;">First</span> Funding</strong></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong>FREE CONSULTATIONS 360 892 6667 toll free: 877 386 3374 (funder4) </strong></span></div><div><strong><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></strong></div><div><strong><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/">http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/</a></span></strong></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1769100342198002615-2615795102973141435?l=lawsuitadvancesfreedomff.blogspot.com'/></div>My Business Life ljhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08349238431266541989lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1769100342198002615.post-33694428877941125792008-07-07T12:11:00.000-07:002008-07-07T14:05:54.674-07:00Personal Injury Lawsuit Advances<a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/pic-08-175[1]-713417.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" height="170" alt="" src="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/pic-08-175[1]-713405.jpg" width="134" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#cc0000;">Personal Injury Advances Are Quick And Easy</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Personal injury is often caused by the negligence of another person </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">or entity. Victims of personal injury by negligence may be eligible for compensation for their injuries provided that the responsible party </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">has </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">enough insurance coverage to take care of the damages. Personal injury </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">cases in the US increases steadily each year. Many of the less catastrophic injuries are settled out of court, while many must go through the clogged legal system. Personal injuries</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">can cause financial burdens for the victims or their families. This is where a lawsuit advance can help.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Personal injury advances are a way to get cash before the case is settled. This means that you can get an advance against the successful recovery of your case. This is cash that can be used for paying bills, credit cards, medical expenses, and so on. You use it however you wish. These are non recourse fundings that are only paid back when and if your case has a successful recovery. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Advances also help your attorney to get a better settlement for your case because they can focus on your case and get the best possible value for you. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">There are many types of personal injuries that can be funded, although there are some lenders that only do certain types of cases. Be sure to do the research before applying. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">After you apply for a personal injury advance, the lender will be in touch with your attorney to determine the strength and value of your case. The lender will require certain documents from your attorney to determine the viability of your claim. Because the lender takes the risk, it is important for them to only invest in the cases that they feel have the best chance of being compensated. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">When the case is approved, a contract is sent to your attorney and if you agree to the terms, the contract is signed ands then faxed to the lender. The lender will advance up to 10% of what they feel your case is worth.Your cash can be received within 24-48 business hours of receiving the completed contract. The contract outlines what the payback is, based on the amount of time it takes to settle your case. The rate of interest varies from 2.99% up to 5.99% depending on the risk of your case. Rates are higher than bank rates because the lender takes all the risk. Bank loans, however, must be repaid each month. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong>There are no credit or employment checks or co-signers needed, and there are no upfront fees to be paid.</strong></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Lawsuit advances can help eliminate the stress of financial burdens. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Freedom <span style="color:#cc0000;">First </span><span style="color:#000099;">Funding is a legal funding service that matches plaintiffs that are looking for cash advances, with lenders that invest in these types of cases. Plaintiffs with pending </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">lawsuits often need money before their case goes through the</span> <span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">legal system. They often get incomplete or misleading information</span> <span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">about this type of advances. Pay Day loans are often confused with </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">lawsuit loans. This misinformation often leads to serious financial problems. </span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><span style="color:#000099;">#1. Myth:</span> <strong>Lawsuit Loans</strong> are a type of pay day loans. </span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">This belief is totally false. Pay Day loans and lawsuit loans are completely </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">different, and have no connections whatever. Pay day loans are very high </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">interest loans that are made for a short term, and made against your </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">paycheck. You get an advance on your next paycheck, and then the payday </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">loan company takes out the amount of the advance, plus a large service fee </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">and interest payment. Rates on these loans add up quickly if the entire </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">loan isn't paid off quickly. Plaintiffs waiting </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">for lawsuit settlements are not likely to be helped by this type of loan. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Payday loans require a steady paycheck coming in to qualify. They are a very </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">costly temporary solution that doesn't help if your case takes a long time to </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">settle. <strong>Lawsuit Loan <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">fundings</span>,</strong> do not even qualify as loans. Lawsuit loans help plaintiffs and attorneys by giving them time to get </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">the very best settlement possible for their case and helps to pay living </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">expenses. This form of financing is much less expensive than payday loans. N</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">o credit or employment checks are needed to qualify. All that is needed is</span> <span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">to be a plaintiff in a pending lawsuit, awaiting settlement. <strong>Lawsuit funding</strong></span> <span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">is much more likely to be of help.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">#2. This new bill specifies the requirements</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">regarding contracts for non-recourse litigation advances. these are transactions in which a company will make a cash advance payment to a consumer who has a pending civil claim or action, in exchange for an amount of the proceeds of a realized settlement, judgment or verdict the consumer receives from the civil lawsuit. The new law will take effect <strong>August 28, 2008.</strong> </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">These types of advances have previously not been allowed in the state of Ohio, and was the only state where the consumer was unable to apply for them. This now opens the way for Ohio residents to get a non recourse advance on their case before it is settled. Non recourse advances are <strong>only</strong> paid back if the consumer wins their case. The types of cases that this includes are auto accidents, personal injury claims, workmen's comp third party only<strong>, </strong>malpractice,</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">and other types of claims. To find out if your case qualifies for funding, </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">be sure </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">to check out our website: </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/">http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/</a> email: <a href="mailto:lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com">lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com</a></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">We offer Free No Obligation Consultations! </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Call today to speak with one of our representatives!</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong><span style="color:#cc0000;">360 892 6667</span></strong> Toll Free:<strong> <span style="color:#cc0000;">877 386 3374</span></strong></span></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1769100342198002615-3874835716858176261?l=lawsuitadvancesfreedomff.blogspot.com'/></div>My Business Life ljhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08349238431266541989lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1769100342198002615.post-64659485650414495852008-05-21T09:33:00.000-07:002008-05-21T10:30:31.883-07:00How To Decide If Your Malpractice Case Is Valid<span style="font-family:verdana;color:#cc0000;">Proving A Malpractice Case</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">1. Remember, not all injuries or complications mean that there has been malpractice. Bad outcomes don't always mean malpractice.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">2. Determine what the doctor did wrong. Ask your current doctor for their opinon. A different doctor may be able to tell you what was improper about your treatment. Doctors are not always willing to point a finger at a colleague, however. </span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">3. Decide what injuries you received because of the wrongdoing. At times, the injuries may not be related to the malpractice. Most states require proof that the doctor's wrongdoing was a large factor in the resulting injury. If there isn't proof of this, it will be hard to prove the case.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">4. Your injuries need to have disabled your life in some way. If they are minor, you will have a hard time convincing an attorney that you have a successful case.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="color:#000099;">5. Did you follow the doctor's advice, and made an effort to get medical help to improve your condition? Often a patient refuses to follow instructions, or fails to get corrective surgery. If that is the situation, your chances of getting the maximum value for your injury decreases dramatically.</span> </span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#990000;">Finding a Malpractice Attorney</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">Look for an attorney that is experienced, and can communicate well with you, answer all </span><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000099;">your questions, and treat you like you are their only client. He/she should give you free information and reports about malpractice and lawsuits before you go into the office. There are many attorneys around, so do your homework and decide wisely. This will help you to be an informed consumer.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Questions? Probate can tie up your inheritance for sometimes several years, and cause unessary hardships for legal heirs. Executors of estates often have to make payments from their own funds because there is no access to pay bills with until the case is settled. Probate usually takes a lot longer than we expect and quite often isn't as much as we are thought we would receive. Probate is a very unpredictable process. </span></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">Qualifications for Inheritance Advances</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">1. Your inheritance or trust must be located within the U.S.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">2. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Your share of the inheritance must be at least $17,000. after all fees.</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"> </span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><span style="color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">3.</span> </span>You must be a legal heir of the estate.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"><span style="color:#000099;">4</span><span style="color:#000099;">. You must be requesting an advance of at least $5000. </span></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><span style="color:#cc0000;">Quick Cash is Avaialble</span> </span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Cash advances are sometimes completed in as little as 72 hours, and do not require monthly payments. They are paid back when the estate is cleared, and are non recourse purchases. Purchases are made on a portion of the amount the heir will receive, not as interest bearing loans. They are based on a "certain sum owed" for accounting purposes. Assignments never affect the other heir's interest</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">or the timing of the final distribution.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;">Attorneys Often Suggest Inheritance Advances</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Attorneys suggest these types of advances because heirs repeatedly contact them for funds. Many heirs have problems waiting for their distribution because of financial difficulties. These advances can be used to post bonds, make property upgrades and repairs, pay the mortgage, property taxes, and insurance bills. Advances can also help in moving heirs from the estate property so it can be more easily sold, and at a better price.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Get Your Free No Obligation Consultation Today! </span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><span style="color:#cc0000;"><strong>360 890 6667 TF: 877 386 3374</strong></span></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/">http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/</a></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><a href="mailto:lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com">lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com</a></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1769100342198002615-3072915446310924449?l=lawsuitadvancesfreedomff.blogspot.com'/></div>My Business Life ljhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08349238431266541989lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1769100342198002615.post-62067506425484175032008-03-31T11:54:00.000-07:002009-03-31T14:47:41.115-07:00Why Use Attorney/Law firm Funding?<a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/VCCAG1GJQOCAY93JVWCABDSGJWCAWL103FCAUAKTFVCAMLKZNNCAMZWX13CAZEAHX0CATKXEE1CAPKUEOSCA75Q7LDCALAAB0QCA7WH5UHCAMV7EYUCA73AN1CCAVF44VTCAV3XZX8CA5B9Q3T-715604.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" height="132" alt="" src="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/VCCAG1GJQOCAY93JVWCABDSGJWCAWL103FCAUAKTFVCAMLKZNNCAMZWX13CAZEAHX0CATKXEE1CAPKUEOSCA75Q7LDCALAAB0QCA7WH5UHCAMV7EYUCA73AN1CCAVF44VTCAV3XZX8CA5B9Q3T-715596.jpg" width="154" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#cc0000;">Improve Your Firms Cash Flow</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#cc0000;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Attorney Lawfirm Funding helps your firm to leverage your case inventories and helps to provide quick Cash Flow for your firm, without using any of your firms cash to do it. Accident cases especially, need attorneys because:</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"></span><br /><ul><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Defendants and their insurance companies have very large resources and information that they can draw from, and take advantage of plaintiffs.</span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Your attorney will gather critical evidence and information, locate and contact key witnesses, and keep track of court deadlines.</span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Attorneys handle all the negotiations with the insurance company or defendants. Working with an attorney assures the plaintiff that the insurance company will not be able to intimidate or give false information.</span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Attorneys advise you how to get the best possible value for your case, and will also advise you of any weakness in your case so that it can be properly evaluated.</span></li><br /><li><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Attorneys often recommend medical providers that will accept your insurance or will give medical services that you need to repay only if you win youir case. </span></li></ul><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><strong>For A Fairer, Larger Settlement:</strong></span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Often, injuries that look to be minor, turn into major longterm problems. A good attorney knows how to optimize your chances of receiving a fair settlement. Those without attorneys, are usually forced to accept what the insurance company offers them without regard for what their case is actually worth. If you have to make concessions to the insurance company, you may encounter dangers and liablilities that you had not considered. Many attorneys will work with companies that advance cash to plaintiffs before their case settles, to avoid premature settlements, and is paid back only if there is a recovery in the case. This is known as Pre Settlement Funding. </span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Call us today for your FREE CONSULTATION! </span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;"><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong>360 892 6667</strong></span> Toll free: <strong>877 Funder 4</strong> (877 386 3374)</span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Visit our website: <a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/">http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/</a> </span></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#000099;">Email: <a href="mailto:lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com">lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com</a> </span></p><br /><br /><p></p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1769100342198002615-8935822174245494432?l=lawsuitadvancesfreedomff.blogspot.com'/></div>My Business Life ljhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08349238431266541989lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1769100342198002615.post-88743579125930789832008-01-24T08:15:00.000-08:002008-01-24T09:49:34.695-08:00Truck Trailer Accidents, Often Fatal for Auto Passengers<a href="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/1-700562.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 85px" height="99" alt="" src="http://www.freedomfirstfunding.com/blog/uploaded_images/1-700558.jpg" width="200" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000099;">With more and more large trucks/tractor trailers on the road every year, your chances of being involved in an accident with one, is much more likely to happen to you. There are approximately 500,000 accidents each year in the U.S., involving passenger cars and the "big rigs". One out of eight fatalities is due to colliding with a truck. Death and serious injuries usually are restricted to the passengers of the smaller vehicles, while the driver of the truck is seldom seriously injured.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">Fatal crash rates for trucks are 2.6 deaths per one hundred million miles traveled. This is 50% greater than the rate for other vehicles. Furthermore, trucks and tractor trailors are more often involved in multiple accidents. because 80% of truck accidents involve more than one other vehicle.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">Government law requires operators to have a commercial driver's license and have periodic drug and alcolhol tests. The effectiveness of these tests are questioned because of the continuing amount of accidents.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">Fatigue plays a large part in many truck accidents. Many admit falling asleep while driving, making their trucks lethal weapons for those around them. Drivers quite often stay on the road longer than they should for financial reasons, and push themselves to drive longer distances than they can safely drive. </span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">Downtime is now required by the US Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Adminstration. This was done in 2003, and the compliance date was January 4, 2004. These actions were taken to help lower the accident rate. New guidelines now define how long drivers can legally drive each day. Regulations now permit drivers to be on the road for eleven hours after having </span><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">ten consecutive hours of off duty rest, and are not allowed to drive beyond the 14th hour after coming on duty, following ten hours off duty. They may not drive after being on duty for sixty jhours in a seven consecutive day period, or seventy hours in an eight consecutive day period. The on duty cycle can be restarted if there is at least a thirty-four hour off-duty period.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">Short haul drivers that return routinely to their place of dispatch after their shift and then are released, sometimes have an increased on duty period of time of sixteen hours after a week of regular shifts.</span><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">The exception of the 16 hour period, takes the business needs into consideration without jeopardizing safety. Without this flexability it is estimated that at least 48,000 new inexperienced drivers would have have to be hired, therefore increasing the accident rate.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000099;">It is estimated that the new rules may prevent 75 fatalities and perhaps 1,300 crashes yearly. In the past, drivers repeatedly violated the old regulations with hours of service. Vigorous enforcement needs to be put into place, otherwise, compliance may also be poor for the new regulations.</span></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1769100342198002615-8874357912593078983?l=lawsuitadvancesfreedomff.blogspot.com'/></div>My Business Life ljhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08349238431266541989lhughes@freedomfirstfunding.com0
