This is a pretty handsome soup, and I'm looking forward to seeing your pics - if you look at the main page, there's a wee envelope you can click at the top of the right-hand column, where you can send me mail.Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13896235681242722952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17613825.post-52733227830139591992008-10-16T09:33:00.000+01:002008-10-16T09:33:00.000+01:00I'm going to prepare it tomorrow night for a dinne...I'm going to prepare it tomorrow night for a dinner party we're having on Saturday. When you ...A very sharp chef's knife is invaluable! When you buy a squash, look for one with a small bell (the bit where the seeds are) and a long, fat top bit - it's solid squash in there, and you won't have to navigate the seeds. If you chop the top part into a few cylinders it's easy to remove the peel from the outside. The bell can be more fiddly, but if you've chosen a squash with a smaller one, it'll be less of a fuss.Lizhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13896235681242722952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17613825.post-189866955673229442008-10-15T14:29:00.000+01:002008-10-15T14:29:00.000+01:00I love butternut squash but find it so hard to pee...I love butternut squash but find it so hard to peel and cut..

Do you have any tricks or tips for peeling squash??Joséehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11656755746864410625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17613825.post-4329837527085657772008-10-15T13:50:00.000+01:002008-10-15T13:50:00.000+01:00A *bit* time-consuming, but oh, so tasty.
