Opulent yet versatile, the Blue Raindrop Trade Bead Bracelet includes a five-strand woven leather band with light blue raindrop-shaped glass beads, smaller bright turquoise beads, and copper fittings. This stunning piece is handmade in Mali, West Africa, and rests comfortably on most wrist sizes.<br /><br />Trade beads made with glass or clay in Europe were transported over land to North and West Africa as long as 2000 years ago. European traders later brought beads to Africa to use as currency to purchase gold, ivory and palm oil. From Africa, these beads were traded on a triangular route into the West Indies, where they were exchanged for produce from the plantations. Today, these beads are enjoyed as items of personal adornment as well as treasured collectibles"<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-7594572391362578"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60; google_ad_format = "468x60_as"; google_ad_type = "text_image"; google_ad_channel =""; google_color_border = "FFFFFF"; google_color_bg = "FFFFFF"; google_color_link = "D56600"; google_color_url = "666666"; google_color_text = "666666"; //--></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/17468346-8154886894136066894?l=adyhost.keyster.co.uk'/></div>Adrian Eyrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03365450406833292915adyhost@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17468346.post-87050425722855349232007-12-28T00:54:00.000Z2007-12-28T00:54:56.738ZCarved Water Buffalo Horn Ring at The Hunger Site<a href="https://shop.thehungersite.com/store/item.do?siteId=220&amp;itemId=31398&amp;origin=148121">Carved Water Buffalo Horn Ring at The Hunger Site</a>: "Simple elegance from exotic locales for the very essence of cosmopolitan chic! Wear a unique piece of the tropics upon your hand -- and be prepared for where the trade wind blows you!<br /><br />Made with hand-carved water buffalo horn, this ring was designed by a pair of American jewelers who work from the sailboat -- their South Seas home for past 27 years. That was possible and I thought she was not going to make one anyway, but she made one after all, so I have to keep my word. I know how she thinks about the internet and the business around it, so I already knew her thoughts. Read and enjoy (or not  ) : We don’t like nerds, noobs or whatever. A nerd is a guy who talks about his computer all day long. He is wearing glasses and he never heard about fashiontrends or pussies  He can only tell you about the new pagerank, news from Google or Microsoft or other sad (not) funny jokes from the internet. Nerds are intelligent, but they don’t know how to date a girl! But I have to tell you, sometimes I love nerds! When I have homework to do and I don’t have time, I ask a nerd! He can make my homework for a kiss, and yes he will do that! For us girls, internet is a datingworld, we love to chat with funny, pretty man but no way that I will build a site for money! Only money I spend on the internet is on eBay, for new shoes or jewelry."<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-7594572391362578"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60; google_ad_format = "468x60_as"; google_ad_type = "text_image"; google_ad_channel =""; google_color_border = "FFFFFF"; google_color_bg = "FFFFFF"; google_color_link = "D56600"; google_color_url = "666666"; google_color_text = "666666"; //--></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/17468346-6879538208905822132?l=adyhost.keyster.co.uk'/></div>Adrian Eyrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03365450406833292915adyhost@gmail.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17468346.post-82226607677179736492007-09-15T14:20:00.000+01:002007-09-15T14:20:37.332+01:00MySpace.com - Adrian - 26 - Male - UK - www.myspace.com/adyhost<a href="http://www.myspace.com/adyhost">MySpace.com - Adrian - 26 - Male - UK - www.myspace.com/adyhost</a>: "About me: I am from heanor and Living In smalley. still go down in to heanor to drink most weekends lol. And of course the risk of it being stolen. You would need to cart it about. And there not light.<br /><br />You can get decent solar panels off eBay for about 100 to put out 20w good enough for low voltage applications.<br /><br />my solar panel is only small puts out 1.5w and I have managed to disguise it on my roof with some clear polythene.<br /><br />My winter projects are to build a small wind generator using old electric motors. But the more i research this idea that more confusing it all becomes.<br /><br />I also have a home-made Polly Tunnel made using plastic drainpipe and a big sheet of polythene. A bit of a makeshift outfit but it has almost lasted the summer taped together using gaffer tape.<br /><br />I have managed to scrounge quite a lot of glass throughout the last year and planning on making a wooden framed greenhouse hopefully that will last a lot longer.<br /><br />Not all my ideas turn out quite as I plan them but I am persistent and always looking to improve without giving up.<br /><br />The more one tries the more one succeeds eventually. And it is all good fun in the out turn.<br /><br />I keep saying one-day I will make a website to detail all my wacky ideas. Who knows somebody might be interested in them lol.<br /><br />Thank You<br />Adrian Eyre<br /><br />Midlands Derbyshire"<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-7594572391362578"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60; google_ad_format = "468x60_as"; google_ad_type = "text_image"; google_ad_channel =""; google_color_border = "FFFFFF"; google_color_bg = "FFFFFF"; google_color_link = "D56600"; google_color_url = "666666"; google_color_text = "666666"; //--></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/17468346-115232491198232751?l=adyhost.keyster.co.uk'/></div>Adrian Eyrehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03365450406833292915adyhost@gmail.com0
