Cary, the artist is a guy I met on CBR a few years ago by the name of Scott D. M. Simmons (www.scottdmsimmons.com). He's good people. We were in an artist jam right before the last Comic Book Idol over there, but some of our jammers made it to the top ten of CBI, so it never got finished. But Scott and I stayed in touch. His art fits the book perfectly.

I say so what!! How many great characters and books were passed on or rejected before they became successful or respected? Bone? Strangers in Paradise? Cerebus? Usagi Yojimbo? Any of these and more!! Keep writing and keep pitching it until you get the money to publish it yourself if you have to!! Just knowing what you do and seeing how you never give up honestly is an inspiration and motivation for me to press on!!
