PHOENIX — A young Iraqi woman whose father allegedly hit her with his car because she had become too Westernized died from her injuries Monday after lying in a coma for nearly two weeks.

Noor Faleh Almaleki, 20, underwent spinal surgery and had been in a hospital since Oct. 20, when police say her father ran down her and her boyfriend's mother with his Jeep as the women were walking across a parking lot in the west Phoenix suburb of Peoria.

The other woman, Amal Khalaf, is expected to survive.

Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, fled after the attack but was arrested Thursday when he arrived at Atlanta's airport, where he was sent from the United Kingdom after authorities denied him entrance.

He tried to flee the country. I guess cowardice is Islamic, too.

Linda McQuaig. Yeesh. That name reminds me of the name attached to communism-oriented economic drivel which a former communism-oriented economics professor of mine (the one who brought Noam Chomsky to campus) always made me read (along with all the drivel by Chomksy!). Luckily I was resistant to the indoctrination even back then as a still-wet-behind-the-ears early-twenties kid and actually expressed plenty of skepticism in class.

Incidentally, here's Linda McQuaig drinking and conspiring with none other than Peter Donolo, former Chretien Regime behind-the-curtain guy and new Chief of Staff of Liberal Leader Ignatieff:

Frankly, I was expecting more and better from Linda McQuaig. Well, due to that, the Liberals made $43 million of the total cost of that advertising to vanish and be unaccounted for. It's suspected that the money was stolen by Liberals.

Speaking of that, the motion to launch a full, independent investigation into that missing $43 million will be introduced in the House today.

How the Liberals, the NDP and the Bloc vote will be interesting to watch. Surely the NDP and Bloc will relish the chance to kick some Liberal ass for political gain. The Liberals, of course, will vote against the motion... gotta try and save their asses, right?

So if the Liberals complain that between five and forty-five million bucks is being spent on advertising (hey, but it's stimulatory for the ad firms, isn't it, and might save some jobs in those businesses!), we can remind them that they caused $43 million of a much larger advertising campaign's funding to go missing, unaccounted for, and it's time for them to account for it!

Word comes from another media darling -- Omar Khadr -- that Arar in fact was at an Al Qaida safe house in Afghanistan on various occasions, contrary to Arar's denials of ever being in that country.

All of which vindicates one of the most important cover stories the Western Standard ever ran, entitled "What really happened to Maher Arar?" You really must read it -- you'll learn things that just haven't been reported elsewhere, ranging from that fact that Arar's purported injuries from "torture" were never examined by an independent doctor; that when he was picked up by Canadian diplomats in Syria, he showed no signs of torture whatsoever -- only signs of not having bathed. Today, what's Maher Arar up to? Trying to sue the United States.

In a 7-4 decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit agreed with a lower court that Arar could not sue U.S. officials.

The court found that he did not have legal standing to sue and that legal protection and redress in cases such as this should be determined by Congress and not the courts.

Listen to Arar's bizarre, out-there propaganda in response, making himself sound like a lunatic conspiracy theorist, sprouting claims that would get anyone else labelled a "crackpot":

In a statement, Arar said the ruling proves "the court system in the United States has become more or less a tool that the executive branch can easily manipulate through unfounded allegations and fear-mongering."

I betcha he'd also allege that Bush knew that 9/11 was going to happen.

Why believe his claims that he was tortured?

There was never any evidence of torture... just his claims. Claims which he only made after being released, claims that are obviously phony, as those who paid him consular visits had observed zero evidence of the torure he later painstakingly "described". Guy's story doesn't hold up, and collapses totally, under the weight of the evidence, actually!

Why would Syria torture an accused Al Qaeda, anyway? Syria isn't exactly against Al Qaeda.

As for the benefit of the doubt, no one— especially not the President of the United States— is entitled to that, when his actions can jeopardize the rights of 300 million Americans domestically and the security of the nation in an international jungle, where nuclear weapons may soon be in the hands of people with suicidal fanaticism. Will it take a mushroom cloud over an American city to make that clear? Was 9/11 not enough?

When a President of the United States has begun the process of dismantling America from within, and exposing us to dangerous enemies outside, the time is long past for being concerned about his public image. He has his own press agents for that.

Internationally, Barack Obama has made every mistake that was made by the Western democracies in the 1930s, mistakes that put Hitler in a position to start World War II— and come dangerously close to winning it.

It's dangerous to close one's mind to the inconvenient truth.

Why is this a "discipline" being pushed at other peoples' kids? Whatever happened to reading, writing and 'rithmetic? Why push that extreme ideology at children? What's so special, and critically important to teach to children, about what some folks do with their gonads, their ani and other parts of their bodies? Clearly, this subject isn't something that belongs in schools!

The publishing firm, which created "Daddy's Roommate" and "Heather Has Two Mommies," also has promoted "Macho Sluts"; "The Age Taboo," an anthology of arguments for pedophilia; and "Pedophilia: The Radical Case," the report said.
"It's outrageous that the same company that markets books that condition children to accept homosexuality also peddles instructions on how pedophiles can have sex with children without getting caught," said Lambda Report editor Peter LaBarbera, now of Americans For Truth.

A Brampton woman who claims she'll be a victim of an honour killing if deported to Pakistan will open the door for other women to seek refuge if she's allowed to stay here, her lawyer says.
Roohi Tabassum, 44, claims she will be killed by her ex-husband because she left him and came to Canada and works as a hairsytlist touching men's hair. He is also outraged that she may have a boyfriend, which she denies.
"This is a landmark case and a lot of people are awaiting the outcome," her Toronto lawyer Max Berger said recently.

Indeed, I do sincerely believe that Obama has sold out his racial heritage and the black community for the almighty buck, for the temporary privilige of being the (not-really) Most Powerful Man In America And In The World, for the farce of being accepted by the wealthy white elite as equal to them despite the obviousness of their actually using him for their purposes. He enjoys the constant adulation, worship and brainless love-ins of his guillible followers and the elitist, billionaire white supremacist-controlled Big Old Media Goebellian Propaganda Machine. Hmm. It's like what would happen if a Spartan would submit to Xerxes in the movie "300". Yes, there'd be rich rewards, but the submissive would still be in servitude under their master's thumb. It's Obama's own choice to submit to those who control him in exchange for the rich rewards (which will largely disappear once he leaves the White House... and he likely faces a spectacular downfall, much like Britney Spears has experienced since things started going downhill for her, career-wise, causing serious emotional withdrawal and a compulsion to replace her now-dissipated, adulation-and-worship-promoted, artificial euphoria with other things, like drugs and screwing around with anything that moves).

As George Soros is, in my suspicion, a white supremacist and (obvious) Jew-hater, Obama, like many in the Democratic Party, similarly acts against the black community's rights, equality and survival. This is why he's pushing policies that are so hateful and murderous and that require the confiscation of the Peoples' money without their consent in order to finance this Apparatus of Hate and Murder.

Oh, and of course, I have no doubt as to whether some lazy-minded, hyper-ideological, easily-misled "progressives" have been offended by this post.

Too bad. But then again, the offences go both ways. And the other guys started it all. I'm just one of millions who dare to practice resistance.

Republican Steps Aside For A Conservative

It's happening. The Grand Old Party is receiving its punishment from the People already for having turned sharply leftwards.

Things are so horrible in America already that the People realize that drastic action must be taken.

So they're abandoning both the Democrats and the Republicans for untainted-by-corruption candidates (on the "right", that is).

The announcement comes after a Siena College poll found she was in third place with 20 percent of the vote in the heavily Republican upstate New York district that has been safe ground for the party for more than 100 years. Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman and Democratic nominee Bill Owens were too close to call with 35 percent and 36 percent, respectively.

The race has pitted conservative and moderate wings of the Republican Party in a battle of ideology both nationally and statewide. Hoffman and his backers say Scozzafava is too liberal to represent the GOP, specifically noting her support of abortion rights and same-sex marriage.

Uh-huh. The GOP candidate who stepped aside wasn't a conservative at all. Nothing new about those leftist, RINO GOPers, though. What's new is that the People have had enough of them as well as enough of the Democrats.

So they go to a real conservative, or at least someone who's saying he is.

The Republican Party can no longer take their core constituency for granted, because, as they've been doing so for so long already, they've lost it. Besides, look at the polls. The majority of Americans say they're conservative, with the remainder saying they're about a third "moderate" and about a fifth "liberal". You do the math, and figure out where the Republicans must go, ideologically, to get back the votes to beat the horrible, terrible, destructive "Democrats" and that dumbass puppet, Obama, he with countless billionaire hands up his scrawny ass!

The Democratic candidate, in response, issues an obvious propaganda talking point, quite over-cliched, too (keep in mind that Obama, through some partisan organization, has been paying his law firm, so far, to the tune of $1.7 million to desperately keep his REAL birth certificate and other damning documents a secret to, obviously, hide the logically, rationally, extremely probable fact that he wasn't born in America and therefore isn't legitimately, Constitutionally the President):

"Obviously I think what has happened here, is the right wing extremists in the Republican Party have spent over a million dollars to drive her out of the race," Owens said Saturday night.

Yep. Yet another brainwashed, whorey, "progressive", Obama-ass-licking Democrat pulled out the silly, meaningless "right wing extremists" slur again. Just like the Napolitano DHS used it to smear the majority of Americans for daring to oppose The Agenda. Yep. Another left-wing extremist asshole smearing and demonizing yet more Americans for not being submissive Obamite sheep!

It's silly and dismissable to smear moderates (ie. Republicans, especially the more conservative ones, are definitely moderate compared to the extremely radical, neo-communist, anti-Constitution, anti-America revolutionaries comprising the Democratic Party, inhabiting -obviously unconstitutionally- the White House, and encompassing the Big Media) as "right wing extremists.

Besides, "conservative" is a very moderate word. "Progressive" is an extremist word, on the other hand, especially considering the kind of dangerous wackos and lunatics who thusly label themselves, their movement and policies.

To be "right-wing" is to be moderate.

To be "progressive" is to be extreme. Just look at the blatant, frightening, shocking extremism of Obama, the Democrats and the Big Media (except, of course, for the "right-wing", moderate, hardworking, fair and balanced Fox News, who has more viewers than anyone else... by a massive amount, precisely because of the way it operates, compared to the Obama-ass-licking Big Old Dying Media!).
