Before I comment on the performance of Dyson DC11 vacuum cleaner, I would like to narrate my experiences of one of my earlier dealings with them. I continue to believe that the manner in which a company conducts its business surely reflects on its product and influences the decision of the buyers. It might save you from being a victim of false, or shall I say inaccurate advertising by the company to push up its sales. Well, I purchased this vacuum online in Spain, but we certainly expect some basic standards from companies of such repute, irrespective of their location.

At the time I purchased this DC11, Dyson were offering a 30-day money back guarantee as a part of some sales campaign. That's what prompted me to try it. But, just one trial and I thought this was not a suitable machine for me When approached, Dyson simply went back on their offer and refused to refund my money, though I just wanted to exchange it with another upright model of theirs. The explanation offered was that I didn't buy it from their leading retailer (ElCorteIngl s) in Spain. And, mind you all the retailers of Dyson were participants of that sales campaign. Further, Dyson (Spain) almost spent 3 weeks to finally inform me of this. That didn't give me the opportunity to go back to Redcoon, from where I had purchased it, and which had a seven-day return policy.

I just narrated my experience because I had to, not that I wanted to square up things with Dysons. Anyway, let's talk about the vacuum cleaner now.

It has a good suction and the collector can conveniently be removed from the unit. But, these are the very features that prevent me from advocating this machine to any prospect, unless, of course it were sold at one third of its present price.

The first thing is the extension pole that may get quite tricky. There is a serious problem with the collector: Its contents can't be emptied even if a small obstruction of the size of a peanut comes in between. Quite often you have to bang the collector to rid it of its contents and that banging causes cracks to appear on its surface. You need to devise your own hand tool to pull out strands of hair or pieces of paper. But come to think of it, Dyson aptly calls it as a dust collector and not a rubbish collector.

The identical design of the ON/OFF button can often be confusing.
Another drawback is the design of the attachment for approaching the area beneath the furniture. It seems the designer was keener to make it sit comfortably in the unit rather than making it do its intended job of approaching and cleaning the said area.

On the whole I find the equipment a bit too bulky and not so comfortable. It's simply not to my liking. But, I must say that the quality of materials is impressive and different pieces fit well into each other. I'm afraid it doesn't offer good value for money.

Very recently I bought a Delonghi Triplo Simac EVT100 vacuum cleaner. It may be too early to offer my reviews on it but the first impression is good. Though of the size of Dyson, it is cheaper than that. It can use steam as well vacuum for cleaning. It's worth the price of a good floor cleaner.

Very often a lot of my friends would talk wildly about how good their Dyson vacuum cleaner was. So, one day I thought of examining the machine at one of the local retail outlets to verify the claims of my friends. Of course, initially I was shocked to see its price but on a closer examination I felt that the system was simple yet effective and justified the price. Rather, it was a great deal.

DC04 surely has looks different from that of its competitor's equivalent models. What a stylish bright yellow look! And the size that might well be accommodated in the boot of a sports car.

It not only looks different but also works very differently. Its Dual Cyclone ensures that suction is constantly maintained. Just make sure that the carpet is firmly secured to the floor before you switch on the machine.

The bin is clearly visible and you can see it getting filled up, so that you can empty the contents before it gets filled to the brim and thus avoid any loss of suction.

It has a host of features including a clear bin and filters that need not be replaced so often.
Depending upon the frequency of use, you may just wash the filter once in a couple of months. Another interesting feature is that the parts can very conveniently be removed and thus clear any blockage caused when you accidentally happen to clean up an unwanted thing.

The most helpful feature is the provision of a lengthy hose. It facilitates the cleaning of the stairs and allows you to reach those difficult corners. It's not difficult to guess the consequences of using such a system. As the cleaning is very efficient, you are not required to do it so frequently, thus giving you time to indulge with one of your hobbies.

There are companies that are making vacuum cleaners that are supposed to endure until the warranty ends, but this is not the case with Dyson models. The DC25 supports Ball technology and is much more maneuverable compared to other brands out there. This model is very maneuverable so you can easily clean the entire home, without need for rest. You can reach all the tight spots and will clean all the dirt with a motorized brush bar for sure. HEPA filters will capture all the dust mites and remove allergenic elements from the rooms.

The weakness could be a long learning curve. There are people who need a bit more time to learn how to use the attachments that come with the Dyson DC25 vacuum cleaner. Another small complain is that it is a bit tall, so it can't be stored in any place. You'll have to designate special place for this one.

All in all, this is a great choice, no matter what kind of cleaning needs you have. This vacuum is meant to cover them all and will endure for quite a while in the battle against the dirt and its allies. If you are ready to pay the price for a Dyson DC25, you should get this model and enjoy in its benefits.

Dyson DC18 Review

DC18 is another improvement over the older models. Besides some new features, it is made with the consumer needs and advices in mind, so this Dyson vacuum cleaner is supposed to be free of the issues users had with previous versions. Lets see what Dyson DC18 has to offer to us.

First thing you will notice with this machine is that it is lighter then previous uprights. It is 5 pounds lighter and you will definitely notice that weight when you start to clean the stairs. The weight you are going to carry is quite bearable, which was not really the case with older models. The difference is noticeable, especially for those people who have to clean a lot of stairs in their home.

Besides reduced weight, the vacuum itself is thinner. It looks like it's a smaller brother when compared with DC15 for example. Other models simply look bulky, while DC18 looks like a machine that is easy to maneuver with. And that is the case actually. You will be able to move through your home with ease and get to all those hard-to-reach areas. And with the help of The Ball, you will be unstoppable with this Dyson vacuum cleaner. When you finish with the vacuuming, you will store this model much easier then previous versions.

The brushbar was a problem in older Dysons. DC15 had the improved version, but it still wasn't quite right. Now the motorized brushbar really kicks ass and cleans all the pet hair that is on your carpets. The engineers at Dyson took some time to make it right, but it's important that we finally got the right equipment.

Now lets talk about some smaller improvements that make this vacuum a nifty little cleaning monster. The handle and the kickstand for the ball are now changed. You will have a better grasp on the handle and the kickstand is easier to use now. It feels a bit sturdier, too. All you have to do is to push down the red release lever. Cool, huh?

When it comes to power of suction, this machine also has the ability to maintain the same power at all times. You won't have to worry about emptying the container while you are vacuuming, because the airflow will remain constant. It's something Dyson's became famous for, so I believe that this will be the feature that will never fails us.

I want to mention something about the names of Dyson's vacuums. There are many people who think that they have to buy an Animal model if they have pets in home. But the Animal is different from the All Floors version only in the attachments. But everything else is different. With Animal model, you get a low reach floor tool, mini turbine tool and a carpet cleaning kit. Turbine is used to remove pet hair and the low reach tool is used to vacuum under the furniture, where you can't reach usually.

Dyson DC18 is quite an improvement over older models and is a great choice for any household. If you are in position to invest a larger sum of money for a vacuum, DC18 is what you should think about.

Dyson DC15

After Dyson made big success with its DC07 and DC14 vacuum cleaner, it made another model that made a lot of people surprised again. Dyson DC15 has improved features when compared to previous models , the biggest of them being a ball where we usually see wheels. This is how this new line became so popular and known as The Ball.

That big round things is made out of rubber and has two different purposes. One is to cover the motor of Dyson DC15 vacuum cleaner and other is to give maneuverability. You will be able to twist and pivot the entire cleaning machine with a lot less effort then usually. This is the main advantage of this line, turning and pushing are very easy, which is making vacuuming to be a lot less hard work and much more fun. It sounds like a fairytale, but that is rally true. When you try to work with this machine, you will realize what's it all about. It is quite interesting that the perspective on house cleaning can be changed so fast.

This Dyson vacuum is using the same technology as its predecessors - Root Cyclone Technology. High forces of air are used to spin debris and dirt to the container sides so the power of suction is maintained. Several cyclonic chambers that are set individually are increasing the airflow power, which is a guarantee that the DC15 will continue with vacuuming at the same level of efficiency.

You can forget about vacuum bags with Dyson vacuums. This model is using HEPA filtration that will capture all the dirt, dust mites and pollen that is in your carpets, rugs and air. Your home will be cleaner then ever, you just need to do a little bit of work for it. This machine will take most workload.

The telescopic wand became a must have in any serious vacuum cleaning machine. And Dyson DC15 has one, it is 17 foot long and it allows you to reach all those problematic areas. Ceilings and stairs will be cleaner then ever since the handle is quite easily extended and used.

Another feature that will put a smile on your face is a brush roll that is quite effective for carpets. It is a bit stiffer then it was before, so prepare for soem hard core action.

Now that we bragged this model to the sky, lets see some downfalls. If there are any? Yes, there are few. For example, the number of airwatts is lower then the DC07 and DC14 have. This means that the suction is not so great as it could be. And it affects the performance of carpet cleaning. I won't say that it is lousy, just that it could be better. Especially when you take the price of Dyson DC 15 into account. It's not easy to say goodbye to $600, which is what you will have to pay for it. It's not cheap, right? You can probably find it on discount and save a buck or two. And there is also an option to get yourself a refurbished vacuum and lower the price greatly.

Quick View On Dyson DC24

Dyson vacuum cleaners are supposed to be "The cleaner that doesn't lose suction"... Now, by that logic, you should be able to keep using the thing forever and have it just as effective when the canister is full as when it's empty, right? Well, this is not the case with Dyson DC24 vacuum cleaner. Why, how? Read the DC24 review and find out.

This issue is particularly noticeable on the DC24, which appears to have a fairly small capacity - about two goes round the house, in my experience, then it needs emptying.

On the other hand, emptying the DC24 is a breeze - just press one button to remove the canister, then press a second to open it (once it's over a suitable container, of course). Shake it a couple of times to get any loose dirt, and you're done.

The main selling point of this particular model is "The Ball" - rather than traditional wheels, this model has a large ball at the base (with the motor inside) that means you don't have to have the cylinder lined up neatly with where you want to go - making corners effortless! This does actually work - and is particularly noticeable when going up towards walls and doors; there's no need to get right behind it to push it forwards and back as with conventional uprights.

Sadly though, for edges, there are rather two many pipes around the foot of the machine to easily get into tight spaces like below a radiator or under a sofa, and this makes getting up to the edges a real pain sometimes. It's also asymmetrical - so you'll find that the left edge will often go right up to the wall, whereas the right one won't... this means instead of just vacuuming a hall in one direction, you'll end up following the wall around so that the same side of the machine is by the wall at all times.

The provided accessories include a crevice tool, a mini brush, and what I'm told is an upholstery cleaner - I use it for the stairs...
These all connect to the hose, which can be unclipped from the back of the machine.
There are two point of note about the hose. Firstly, the wand and hose are almost long enough to use this as a cylinder instead of upright... secondly, most of that length is in the wand.
This leads to an odd set of problems; for fiddly places, the wand is too long to handle, but the hose is too short to reach except at full stretch; most noticeable on the stairs.

The wand (the stick thing you pull out) can reach all the way to the top of most stairs when you leave the main body at the bottom and comes with 3 tools.

The Dyson also allows quick disposable of the dust collected in the cylinder by way of a pull up clip and the dust emptying from the base of the cylinder when the cylinder is unattached from the vacuum.

After many years of owning a Dyson I am still amazed that it never loses suction and makes short work of pet hairs that most vacuums cannot tackle properly.

The sleek design of the Dyson DC07 means you will never be ashamed to have it on display in a corner somewhere instead of hidden in a cupboard because you become proud of owning it and like to show off the fact that ‘Yes I own a Dyson’. Or maybe that’s just me and I do need professional help.
