A picture taken when I was going through an obsession with film grain phase, hence I set my D40 at its highest ISO rating and fired away. This photo was cropped intentionally to make the noise more obvious. The kit lens performed rather well, don't you think?

Ingenious folks giving a second life to otherwise would-be-discarded banners as shades against the sun. This is also the final decent picture from my first roll with Holga, hope you've enjoyed them =)

PS: There's also a slight double exposure on the right side of the frame, due to the film nearing the end of its roll.

Lomo Pre-WWII Shop

If the year stamp near the roof is authentic, this shop was built in 1939. It is still serving its purpose after 70 years, lets hope it can last another 30 :-)

Lomo Trees & Track

The North Borneo Railway system has been stopped for years to upgrade the tracks. Seen here shrubs are starting to take over the railway. It is a pity they don't take the chance to put in another set of tracks, this way the frequency of the trains could be increased and it can be one of the main transportation for the people.

I also love the ancient trees near the station, there used to be more 10 years ago but they had been removed to build shops... What a shame!

I photographed my cousin's wedding over the weekend and this was my favourite photograph. Captured a split second when the bride was resting and unaware of the camera, I wanted to show the softness of her hands against the flow of the gorgeous dress :-)

PS: This was taken before the wedding ceremony so there's no wedding ring yet.

Decided to post this anyway because it shows the pond full of water hyacinths when it was prettiest. The actual pond is larger, this picture only shows about 1/3 of it. There's also an extreme light leak from the golden hour sun.

Now more than half of the flowers have already died.
