Sometimes the best you can do playing poker is to lose 15 big blinds in an hour.I just played for an hour and did pretty good even though on one table I am down 15 big blinds.The first hand no one bet so in last position I bet and 6 people call.  That was a little aggressive on my part to bet with nothing, but I just thought I would check to see what would happen since I didn’t know anything

I can’t figure this out, this happened twice to me today.  I am playing a .50/$1 limit ring game, and on the river I have bottom pair no one else bets so I bet.  Actually once I had bottom pair, and once I have an under pair - 22 in the big blind.My bet is a total bluff; one person calls me both times so I am sunk, I know I have lost the hand.  Then I win!  How is this possible?I keep wondering

Empire Poker has a new bonus.  100% up to $300 - poker bonus.They have changed their play requirements and bumped them up to 20X which means you have to play 6000 raked hands to clear this bonus.I wonder if they are going to keep closing accounts of the people who just play this bonus?  Maybe now you need to play 40x not to get your account closed. Empire Poker raised their rake not that long ago.  I am currently clearing the bonus at Empire Poker and I just noticed that the rake is 10% for some reason I was thinking it was 5%.  Bet365 Poker still has the 5% rake.
