My Life

This are my life. My beautiful kids (from L-R) Nicole, Neil and Natalie. We transferred here in Australia hoping to give them more time and space where we can enjoy and go out as a family every week. They don't understand the idea why we need to moved here in Oz. They missed all their friends and school in UK that everyday they kept asking what if we're still there. They already started school last month. They are starting to settle but still needs a little bit of time for them to adjust. Neil will not start school until January and I cannot afford to send him to a daycare because it cost $80 per day. If my husband can find work my plan is to enroll him even twice a week. For now his 2 big sister are his tutor and he is learning a lot from them.

Last Day Out in UK

We had a lot of plans on our last month in UK. But unfortunately we run out of time. I still had a lot of places that I wanted to visit but nevermind. I think 8 years of staying and spending there is already enough. Still, I miss all my friends over there but life must go on and I need to embrace all the change that's happening to us and so far me and my family are loving it. Philippine Holiday with Friends

When we hent on holiday in Philippines on April we spent our first week at home and afterwards we went to Davao, to our place then to Camiguin in just a span of 5 days. It was good but very tiring. But it not went very well as I expected because something unexpected happened (don't really knew what the hell she was thinking). Well, overall our holiday was good because for the last time I saw some friends from UK and spent our holiday with them. It was fun and we had a lot of happy memories. Manang and Mareng Novy sorry if I did not ask you that I will post our pictures here. Miss you all!!! Anyway, I want to plug here my part time job which is selling breeches (not really :)

I'm Back!

After being very busy for 3 months. I am back in blogging world. Hopefully this will continue because as you all know we are in the place where there's a lot to do as a family. I missed all my friends here in the cyber space. I'm really really sorry for not visiting you friends. I was very busy moving all the way from UK to OZ with Philippine holiday in between. With a new job, house hunting, car hunting and all sort we are starting to settle here down under. See you around guys.

Looking For Insurance

I haven't received my relocation allowance because I haven't got my insurance yet. I'm still trying to find a good deal for me and my family. I hope that I can find one with a lot of benefits. I'm new to this because I did not had one back in UK. All health care cost over there is free. My friend said that I need to look at leads for insurance because they have a lot to offer. How about you? Do you have anything to suggest?

Still No Internet!!!

For 3 weeks now we don't have internet connection. I applied more than 3 weeks ago but the company is so slow. I called them this afternoon and they said I need to apply on Friday again, it sucks without one!!! Hopefully next week it will be connected if not I will apply to another company again. Today I'm here at my friend's house using her internet connection and thanks to her. Anyway, I need to go now because I still need to find my box cutter.

Happy To Be Here

Yes even with different people surrounding me I am happy to be here in OZ. Different of course because I left my best friends in UK. It is not easy but I am trying my best to cope and of course enjoy what OZ can offer me and my family. I'm just glad that winter here is warm. And hurray for that :)

Exhausting Day

We don't have a car right now and for now since we live in the city we are not going to get one, maybe after few months. Thankfully my friend husband brought us to Ikea to buy the things that we will need when we move to our rented apartment. He brought us there midmorning and came back at closing time. There was a lot of shopper, it's Saturday today and also the people who are affected with the flooding bought new furniture that's why Ikea was so busy today. After paying everything I am totally brooked :( At least it will be my first salary next week but still I need to buy appliances. Hopefully I can find online store that deals with wholesale electronics so that I can get a good price.

My First day At Work

I started my orientation today at the hospital. Thankfully there are 4 Filipinos and three of us are from UK so the day went by so quick because in between our topic we had a chat. Can you believe that there are 2 Indians as well from UK that's including in our orientation and all of us we will be in the same hospital. I'm sure in a year time there will be only be few Asian nurses that will remain in UK. I don't blame them at all. Anyway, I need to go to bed now since I will be at work again tomorrow. Hopefully when we settle here I can pay a visit to all my friends here in the bloghosphere. I am really sorry because I am so busy right now. And also I need to finished this rv assignment so that I have money to pay my Internet connection here in the apartelle which is so expensive :)

Greetings From The Land Down Under

Yes!!! After few months of waiting we are here in Australia now. We arrived on Monday morning the 11th of May, and the weather did not disappoint me. Yes it was sunny but not as hot in Philippines. And so far so good... I like and love Australia but still I miss all my friends in England and also my family that I just left in Philippines. Hopefully all of us will settle nicely. That's it for now because I am so tired and still feeling nauseous.

Can anybody help me? Because I need an appetite suppressant straightaway. I am so big now!!! My appetite is so good that I have 3 meals in a day with 3 portion of snacks in between meals not including the exotic fruits and delicious desserts that I have every now and then. I don't really know what to do now. I think I need help from dietitian for over eating :) I just hope that my food consumption will lessen after my holiday or else I will be very very obese.

I am very very fat now. Since I arrived here in Philippines I haven't stopped eating. I had everything I want. So everytime my friends saw me their first expression is; "You are so fat now. " I don't mind because it is true. I will go on a diet after my holiday. Whatever!!! If it will not work then I will start using weight loss pills. Till then because me and my kids are off to Jollibee... Yepey, food again :)

Sorry to everybody if I haven't visited your blogs recently. As you all know we are in Philippines for a holiday and we are staying here for a month. Before we left UK we we're so busy packing and cleaning and I did not had time to go online. Over her in Philippines we live in a countryside and going online is a problem. So now I am here in one of the town near our place to check my e mails and at the same time finish all my pending tasks. It will be like this until second week of May. Hopefully after that time I will have more time to visit all of you friends.

Stressed

I am so stressed because of the never ending packing. We've been packing for two weeks and until now we are still doing it. We sent boxes to Philippines and Australia, we finished packing things that we are going to bring to Philippines but still we have a lot left. What we did is we sold some, gave away some and threw away a lot. But still we have a lot of things to sort out. Tonight we are moving out from this house that we are renting. We are going to stay temporarily at my friend's house for 4 nights and then on Monday morning we are flying away. And hopefully by next week I will be at our house back home resting and relaxing with an outdoor cushions :) I cannot wait...

I Need It Badly

I do wear eyeglasses (but not all the time) because of my astigmatism. I don't mind wearing it but sometimes I find it so annoying especially when I go on a day out. And I am so lazy to put a contact lense. So I decided that I will have a laser surgery during my Philippine vacation next month. I really hope I qualify for the surgery. I really need it badly...

Do We Really Need A Car?

The place that we are migrating is a city. So me and my hubby discussed if we really need a car when we get there. I already have a friend there and she said that everything is in walking distance. But we are thinking that we want to explore Australia and with 3 kids it will be expensive, so getting a cheap and second hand car will be the best option for us. So now, we are already looking online for second hand cars. But as what we noticed their cars are more expensive compared in here. Hopefully we can get one within our budget and I hope that their type of insurance is no down payment auto insurance so that it will not be expensive for us.

12 More Days

How many days left before I live the United Kingdom? I only have 12 more days. In less than 2 weeks I will be in Philippines!!! Hurray!!! Me and my family will be very busy with our 1 month holiday in Philippines. One week of that we will be spending it with our friends in here who are already in Philippines now. We will stay in Davao for 3 days, 1 day in our place and 2 days in Camiguin. Then the following week I will be in Cebu to undergo laser surgery of my eyes. I hope and pray that the procedure will do well. Anyway, enough of this because I'm still on night shift tonight.

Almost Done

At last we finished packing boxes to send to Philippines. All in all we packed 12 medium size boxes and 1 super jumbo box. Now all we need to do is pack our remaining things to send to Australia and things to use in Philippines while we are on holiday and some presents to give away to my relatives and to my husband's relatives. At first I was worried because when I inquired we we're only allowed 20 kgs. of baggage each which is not enough. I made a complaint regarding this because when I booked, the customer representative said that or baggage limit is 30 kgs. So, to make the story short after I complained to the manager we are allowed now the maximum limit which is 30 kilos and 7 kilos hand baggage. Now I feel better. What I need to do now is buy computer memory
for my Aunt's computer as she said it is more cheaper in here.
