Oh, I am so ready for fall. It's awful to wish away summer, but the heat of the past two weeks has kept us from enjoying much of it. I am anxious for cool breezes and long sleeves. I can't help myself.

Perhaps one last run for ice cream. . . but otherwise I'm done with summer. Oh, and maybe some more sweet corn.

Before summer is over (officially September 21 but Labor Day for me) I had hoped to tan my backside but it doesn't look like THAT is going to happen.
I'm off to see what part of fall I am...I dislike apple cider as well.

Last year 4 pumpkin seeds sproited in my compost pile.... they must have been from the previous year's Hallowe'en pumpkin. So I transplanted them into the garden and we had a nice crop of pumpkins, but none this year unfortunately. I'll actually have to buy one this year!
Did you know that if you carve your name into a tiny pumpkin, by the time it's fully grown, your name will grow too?

well i am never ready for the fall, because that only means that winter is soon around the corner and i hate winter.
Well i was hoping that i would be able to take a vacation, but don't look like that is going to happen unless the sale fails.And will know that by the 7th of Sept. If it goes through i will be on permanant vacation after Nov.

Thanks for checking the blog on my daily digest, just haven't put anything in there but now that i am going through old floppy disks i wanted to add those photos and keep them there so i can get rid of the floppies. Do you like tea pots? i love teapots, and have several as a collection, which now i am getting ready to sell, as i can't take them in the motor home.
And no i wasn't really named after my mother.
