I read Jumper when it came out several years ago, and I really enjoyed it. I was excited to hear that it was being made into a movie... but I won't be seeing it.<BR/><BR/>The reviews and descriptions that I have read tell me that besides the main characters names... nothing is the same... not even a bare portion of the plot.

I saw this movie with my husband and felt compelled to go back a second time. Can't wait to get it on video. This was a great movie for Martin.

I first saw the preview for this while waiting to see The Great Debaters. I saw it. I thought it was funny but I'd seen this type of movie 1000 times over. It walked the line well. Some parts were coonish but, it had it's redeeming qualites...ie: the together-ness of the black family. I think Mike Epp's adlibs made the movie. He's not the best leading man but a helluva sidekick. Either way it was ok at best. James Earl added the grain of credablity this film needed.

I saw it and was pleasantly surprised. I was going through a rough patch and it delivered on the laugh I needed from the beginning of the movie to the end. I applaud the efforts of giving it a wholesome message as well.
