Recently Senator Clinton denigrated the power or usefulness of having a "dream." Saying, in efect, having a dream won't move anything.

I wonder what JFK, or Dr. King would make of this very "telling" comment.

Wow it's been awhile since I've posted. This has been an extremely busy month, between work and things going on in the prime material world, I just haven't had the time to sit down and do any writing.

Hope all of you had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

When Monday comes, we will be back to the politics, but for now, let's just relax and be thankful for what we have, and just enjoy our families and the fact that we are all Americans, celebrating an American Holiday.

Fred Phelps; When is a Win a Loss?

As happy as I am, and I am! I am also torn. I loathe Fred Phelps, you all know that. And I'm glad he was held accountable, but there is a big part of me that is saying NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! FIRST AMMENDMENT!!!!!
Of course not near as big as the part that's going WOOOOOOO_HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Eat that Rev. Bigot!
Even though I fight and oppose this guy with every chance I get, and as happy as I am, there's just a little something that I'm not quite comfortable with. And I think it's the concept of "drawing the line" with free speech. Once you draw it, it tends to keep moving, a moving line of what is, and is not, free speech. The line changes direction as the political zeitgeist holds sway.
The line, like free speech itself, is a two edged sword. What we like now, we may come to hate, should things change.
We should be damn careful if we do decide to draw it.
That being said. EAT THAT YOU BIGOTED PSYCHO!!

By justifying the invasion of Iraq with false and misleading statements linking Iraq to the attacks of September 11, 2001, and falsely asserting that Iraq had a nuclear weapons program for which it was importing aluminum tubes and uranium, these assertions being either false, or based on `fixed' intelligence, with the intent to misinform the people and their representatives in Congress in order to gain their support for invading Iraq, denying both the people and their representatives in Congress the right to make an informed choice, George Walker Bush, President of the United States, did commit and was guilty of high crimes against the United States of America.

In violation of his oath to `faithfully execute the office of President of the United States', George Walker Bush, in his conduct while President of the United States, has consistently demonstrated disregard for that oath by obstructing and hindering the work of Congressional investigative bodies and by seeking to expand the scope of the powers of his office.

This conduct includes the following:

In abrogation of his responsibility under the oath of office to take care that the Laws be faithfully executed, by which he agreed to act in good faith and accept responsibility for the overall conduct of the Executive Branch, a duty vested in his office alone under the Constitution, George Walker Bush, failed to take responsibility for, investigate or discipline those responsible for an ongoing pattern of negligence, incompetence and malfeasance to the detriment of the American people.

Those whom George Walker Bush, as President of the United States of America, has failed to hold to account include but are not limited to the following top-level officials in his administration:

(a) RICHARD CHENEY- In violation of his oath of office to support and defend the Constitution, Richard Cheney, Vice President of the United States of America, played a key role in manipulating intelligence in the interest of promoting the illegal invasion of Iraq by pressuring analysts at the Central Intelligence Agency to `fix' their intelligence estimates of the danger posed by Iraq in relation to weapons of mass destruction, whereby Richard Cheney, Vice President of the United States, did commit and was guilty of high crimes against the United States of America.

(b) CONDOLEEZZA RICE- In violation of her Constitutional duty to share and provide accurate and truthful intelligence information with the Congress, as former National Security Advisor to the President, did play a leading role in deceiving Congress and the American public by repeating and propagating false statements concerning Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction program, including false information that the purchase of aluminum tubes demonstrated that Iraq was pursuing a nuclear weapons program, false information that Iraq was seeking to purchase uranium and false information that Iraq sought help in developing a chemical and biological weapons program; whereby Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State of the United States of America, did commit and was guilty of high misdemeanors against the United States of America.

By neglecting to superintend the conduct of these officials and to hold members of the Executive Branch responsible for their negligence or violations of law, George Walker Bush, President of the United States, did commit and was guilty of high misdemeanors against the United States of America.

Wherefore, by their aforementioned conduct, George Walker Bush, Richard Cheney, and Condoleezza Rice warrant impeachment, trial, and removal from office.

In violation of his duty under Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution of the United States of America to `take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed', George Walker Bush, during his tenure as President of the United States, has violated the letter and spirit of laws and rules of criminal procedure used by civilian and military courts, and has violated or ignored regulatory codes and practices that carry out the law.

This conduct includes the following:

In violation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) [50 U.S.C. Chapter 36], George Walker Bush did clandestinely direct the National Security Agency and various other intelligence agencies, in secret and outside the lawful scope of their mandates, for purposes unrelated to any lawful function of his offices, to conduct electronic surveillance of citizens of the United States on U.S. soil without seeking to obtain, before or after, a judicial warrant, thereby subverting the powers of the Congress and the Judiciary by circumventing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) courts established by Congress, whose express purpose is to check such abuses of executive power, provoking the presiding judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to file a complaint and another judge to resign in protest, the said program having been subsequently ruled illegal (ACLU vs. NSA); he has also concealed the existence of this unlawful program of spying on American citizens from the people and all but a few of their representatives in Congress, even resorting to outright public deceit as on April 20, 2004, when he told an audience in Buffalo, New York: `any time you hear the United States Government talking about wiretap, it requires . . . a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so', whereby said George Walker Bush, President of the United States, did commit and was guilty of high crimes against the United States of America.

In all of this, George Walker Bush has repeatedly and unapologetically misled the American people and has sought to undermine the system of checks and balances established by the Founding Fathers. Wherefore George Walker Bush, by such conduct, and in the interest of saving our Constitution and our democracy from the threat of arbitrary government, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office.

We, therefore, the people of the United States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States do declare the right of the people to impeach and remove tyrants which act against their own interest.— And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Constitutional Law, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

Rush To Threaten

Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly are apparently birds of a feather. When someone writes or says something about them they don’t like, they both resort to vaguely veiled threats.

First Bill was going to show up at everyone’s house and shove a microphone up our noses. I asked Bill to come to my place and be on my show, haven't heard back...

Now this has been released, Rush bragging about going after children of his critics:

Nice isn’t it? Sums up the intelligence, morality, and values of the tighty righties quite nicely. Don’t agree with them? They’re going to not only hunt you down, but your children as well. They will harass, and stalk, and terrify children, just because they are too gutless to try it with an adult. And of course, at the end, they resort to the crudest of childhood taunts.

Malkin, Limbaugh, Coulter, O’Reilly, all cut from the same bolt of weevil infected cloth. There is something fundamentally wrong with them. With the way they think and perceive and react to the world around them. They all act like spoiled children who, for the first time in their lives, are being held accountable. They stamp their feet, throw a tantrum and resort to profanity and the behavior of a schoolyard bully. These are the spokespersons of the right.

So Rush, let me tell you something. When you’re a known celebrity, there is a lot of information on you out there, so I’m going to tell you what I’m going to do. I’m going to find out where people you care about go to school, or work, or to eat. I’m going to find out what you did in high school, what drugs you took, how often you got beat up, judging from your adult behavior, I’m guessing on a daily basis, and how you paid for your house, and your illegal painkillers and your illegal immigrant housekeepers, and then I’m going find out what you do with all that Viagra in the Dominican Republic. Then I will tell everyone, via articles and my radio show, just what kind of “human being” you actually are.

And you know what Rush? There’s not a damn thing you can do to stop me. Not one damn thing. Chew on that.

It's Been Slow, Too Slow

It seems that although alot has been going on lately, news worth commenting on, has been slow. And that worries me. Like a parent with four kids, who suddenly realizes the house is quiet,...too quiet.

"WHAT ARE YOU KIDS DOING UP THERE?!" is usually answered by a softly floating reply, in cherubic unison "Nothing..."

This is what we should be asking of our leaders in DC. What are they doing indeed?

"Nothing"

And then we should do what any responsible parent would do. Go find out exactly what they are doing. Because you know it ain't Nothing

But in a Representative Democracy we elect "Representatives" that are supposed to go to DC and "represent" our interests.

Well 70% of Americans have been sending a huge message of exactly what our interests are since at least the 2006 Election. Yet we get nowhere.

So Senator Craig has renegged on his promise to step down after the courts correctly concluded that the veteran US Senator was intelligent enough to know what a guilty plea meant.

But why should he step down and take responsiblity for what he did? He's only following the lead of his Party and his President. None of them have taken responsility for anything that has occured in the last 7 yrs, and they are perfectly happy to let the next administration come in and clean up the mess. Hell, that's George Bush's MO.

Failing out of Yale or Harvard? Get Daddy's legacy and friends to prop you up as a C-student until graduation.

Too much of a coward to serve your Country? Use Daddy's pull to jump line and join TANG, can't handle all that flying? Go AWOL and work on a family friend's campaign.

Start an oil company in Texas, Harken Energy to be exact, and when the business fails in just a few years, secretly sell your shares without telling anyone, including the SEC.

Governor of Texas? No problem! Leave the State first in executions, near the top in air pollution, but at the bottom of the barrel in child education.

And now, after starting a war that is looking to be the biggest blunder in US history, it's time for someone else to come in and clean up Junior's mess while he goes back to "clearing brush."

So, no, given the example of his leadership, there is really nothing for Senator Craig to take responsibility for.

I've been having some "issues" and when you're in your late forties and have those kinds of "issues" the doctor says only one word: Colonoscopy.

In a couple of years I would have had to have one anyway, but that doesn't mean I'm looking forward to it. So I've decided to blog about it in an effort not only to inform other guys, but also to distract myself.

The procedure is Tuesday morning, so Monday evening I will be spending alot of time on the toilet during the "Colon Cleansing Protocol."

Isn't free speech great? In some Countries talking about the leadership that way would get you executed. That is why I'm throwing my support behind the editor of Colorado State Universities Student Newspaper whose job is on the line for allowing those exact sentiments to be printed.

While Bushco has done it's level best to assure otherwise, we still have a Constitution with a gaurantee of free speech.

Why does everyone tip toe around The Deciderer? FUCK HIM!! He has done nothing but empty our treasury into his cronies pockets while trying to strip the Constitution of it's most basic protections. And nobody calls him on it. Where is the 4th Estate, the media? The Democrats? It's pathetic.

And speaking of free speech, let's discuss Moveon.org and General Betray Us.
The hypocrisy from the right on this issue is astounding. They whine and cry about a 1 day newspaper ad and pass a resolution denouncing it. But let us remember that these are the very Republicans who took out television ads attacking Max Cleeland, who lost half his body in Vietnam, and questioned his service record. The very same people who smeared John Kerry with the Swiftboat bullshit, who accused John McCain of having an out of wedlock black baby, who, while attacking and impeaching Bill Clinton for lying about a blowjob, were sleeping with under age pages, trolling public bathrooms for gay sex, paying gay male prostitutes for sex and meth, divorcing their wives while they lay in a hospital dying from breast cancer, having an extramarital affair and then trying to move their mistresses into the Mayor's mansion with their wife and daughter, the list goes on.

Fuck them All.

Yeah, Yeah, I haven't posted in awhile. Sue me. Work has been insane and I've been preparing for Sunday's interview with Professor Jaun Cole.

I am glad that everything is going so swimmingly that the MSM has nothing better to talk about than OJ!!

I read the charging papers today. They threw everything they could at him.
OJ better hope this doesn't go to trial. A jury won't be so kind this time around.

Of course the current regime loves it. It takes the spotlight off them for awhile.

Iraq Report

Let me tell you a little secret I learned in the Army, after your 1st Star, it's all political. Bush's puppet said and did exactly what the puppet master wanted.

Never mind the other dozen or so Generals and Full Bird Colonel's saying it's FUBAR.

Never mind Republican Congressmen who were war supporters, going to Iraq to see for themselves, and then coming back saying we need to get out.

Nevermind the 7 NCO's, most of whom are on their 2nd and 3rd tours in Iraq, who wrote an Op-Ed piece in the NY Times saying Iraq was a failure and a complete boondoggle( 2 of those soldiers have been killed since the article came out a week or so ago and a third was shot in the head by a "sniper").

Defund the war and then impeach, Cheney first, then Bush. After impeachment, arrest them on International War Crime and Crimes Against Humnity charges and ship them off to The Hauge for trial.

You know those commercials you see? Some white guy in a South American corrugated shack ghetto? This old white dude, usually with a gut and a well fed look, balances the needful child on his knee while scolding you for allowing this to happen for less than a up of coffee a day.

Hey, that's all well and good until you stop and think. They have to fly this guy down there along with the crew, camera's, equipment, productions assistants, etc, put them up in an America style hotel(surely you don't think they're going to bed down in the corrugated ghetto?), food, gas, meals etc.

The whole time he's there I'm thinking "Give the kid a sandwich!"

And for exrta credit, look for the blue eyed blonde girl they mix in with all the brown kids, helps those people who might be reluctant to give to "darkies"

Dipping Sauce

Ok people, enough with the freakin' dipping sauce.

Since when do we need to dip every type of food in some kind of "dipping sauce" (Ranch Dressing nine times out of ten).

What is this obssesive need to dip food into a container of sauce?

"Excuse me Sir, would you like some dipping sauce with your $30. Filet Mignon?"

"NO!!" I don't need any fucking dipping sauce to kill the taste of my food!" I ordered Filet Mignon because that's what I wanted to taste. Otherwise I would have ordered a bowl of Ranch.

STOP THE MADNESS!!!!!!!
