it's been awhile. yeah, i'm quite (lazy) busy lately. still uploading all the pics, water marking my party pics and composing ALL my blogs. will update SOON!!!

meanwhile, i'm helping a friend dispose all her toys for Christmas. these are all brand new toys. there are educational toys, wooden toys, branded toys and toys as cheap as P50.00 na pwedeng pang-give aways sa mga bata this Christmas.

i've checked it myself and they are cheaper than mall prices. =)

yes, i’m really looking forward to the coming vacation!!!

it’s vacation time for my school boy so no waking up early (yes, 9am is already early for both of us!)
it’s Nov 1&2 next weekend so no parties for me to organize.

it’s really 1 whole week of rest!

these past few days, i’m really feeling sick, stressed, tired, burnt out and all! i don’t know, i guess i just need a good massage and a WHOLE DAY rest!

so i’m really excited for the coming week.

also, it’s time to update all my backlogs. blog my Hongkong vacation as well as our MBAP party (sorry mommies, next week na po ang pics ko ha), and a LOT more! update all my party pics and organize all my files.

waaah, feeling ko di din ako makapag-rest sa dami ng kelangan kong gawin!!!

btw, for those who were asking, NO! lil boy didn't walk the aisle! waaah, will blog about that soon. =(

nope, it's not us! it will be lil boy's turn this time. not (never) as a Groom, opkors, hehe.

it will be his 1st time to walk down the aisle, he'll be the Coin Bearer at his Ninang Ella's (hubby's cousin) wedding on Oct 12, 3pm at Caleruega. reception follows at Splendido. so we're all going to Tagaytay this Sunday.

we were initially planning on staying overnight at our little house in Tagaytay on Sat night, so the kids will enjoy their short vacation. but i had party bookings that day, so no choice but to leave early on a Sunday.

anyway, since it's lil boy's 1st time, we're doing a lot of coaching on how he'll walk carrying the pillow. but everytime he does it, he'll always throw the pillow after! oh my!!! i'm just hoping he won't do it on the wedding.

will he walk kaya? or i'll be walking with him, hay, wag naman sana!

we'll see on Sunday, i'm excited! =)

Hongkong, here we come…

thanked God there’s no more typhoon!!!
i was thinking that since the typhoon is going towards North, kasabay pa namin syang pupunta ng Hongkong. waaah.

and my lil boy was like this...“rain, rain. wala na Hongkong. wawa tayo!” =(

as per checking Hongkong's 7-Day Weather Forecast, i think i need to change our itinerary because i was planning to visit Ocean Park on Thursday and Disneyland on Friday, to avoid the weekend crowd. but it seems like it’s better to join the crowd on a sunny day than not enjoy Disney at all because of the rain.

Hongkong was a long-time plan already. i purchased the tickets as early as March!
it’s my birthday tomorrow so i really wanted to celebrate it there.

actually, i’ve been planning on visiting HK again since Disneyland opened years ago. since i enjoyed LA Disneyland before so much, i was really looking forward to meet Mickey again. but everybody was holding me back to wait until lil boy can enjoy Disney already. and so i waited, waited and waited.

and now that he’s 3yo, i think everybody will agree that this is the best time for him to meet Mickey and Pooh in person.

this will be my 2nd time in Hongkong and i’m still excited because my last visit was years ago. i didn’t even have my own pocket money then. so i’m pretty excited now on the shopping part, as well as hubby. yeah, we’re both shopaholics! this will also be our family’s 1st time to go out of the country, we were just touring Philippines for the past 4 years eh.

everybody is excited. so i’m hoping it will be a nice, happy vacation for all of us.

atleast, may bago na kaming pupuntahan ng anak ko whenever we buy his rewards sa school, i'm so tired of Sta. Lucia and Robinsons Metro East already eh.
i just hope there's a big Toy Kingdom there.

we'll be going there later, after Lil Boy's school, told you we're all excited eh, hehe.

1st Assessment Results

as i’ve blogged here, it was lil boy’s 1st assessment last July 30 and August 1.

the test results came a week after. and i was so happy with his exams.

he got a perfect score in Science and Reading, these were the exams he took on the 1st day for 10 minutes, hehe. 1 mistake in Filipino and 2 mistakes in Math. not bad huh, for a 3yo first-timer.

i’m one proud Momma! =)

galing ng color nya noh, walang lagpas. hahaha.

as i've previously blogged, i treat lil boy to a lunch out and a book or toy when he had a total of 6 stars in a week. so that usually happens on a wednesday, because he often get 2 stars daily.

but last tues when i picked him up, he didn't have stars on his hands, and so i asked. teacher told me that he found a new 'bestfriend', the 3yo Markus. lil boy is the youngest and Markus is the 2nd youngest and one of the 'kulit' in their class.

since they are now the "new pair", lil boy imitates EVERYTHING Markus does. i witnessed this before their class started that morning. Markus would do things like put the clay on his head, stomped his feet, shout, etc. and my lil boy did exactly what Markus did. hay!

and during the whole class, they just stayed lang daw sa Play Area and didn’t participate.

so i asked lil boy and he told me that he played with Markus that’s why he didn’t have star. bad boy daw sya, hehe.

so when we got up the van, ayun, sermon to the max na ako. not because he didn’t have stars, but because he didn’t join his class and listened to his teacher.

i even told him that we won’t be able to go to Robinsons tom (wed) because he only had 2 stars.

and so i hoped he understood.

came wednesday, i was so happy to see him with his 2 stars. so me epek talaga yung sermon ko, hehe.

but this afternoon when i picked him up, no stars again! and he was bugging me to go to Robinsons. we were really planned on going to Rob because i needed to do some errands and i was expecting that he’ll have a total of 6 stars already.

but i stayed firm, forgot about my errands, play deaf on his crying and pleading…and went straight home!

it turned out, Markus and lil boy threw toys, pasaway talaga! as per teacher, ginagaya daw talaga ng anak ko si Markus, hehe.

as we arrived home, another round of sermon while he was crying his heart out.

naisip ko lang, 3yo pa lang anak ko, nabi-BI (bad influence) na, hahaha. i told my Mom nga, napapariwara na yata sya, hehe. and my mom said, nababarkada na sya, delikado na. hahaha.

hay, i guess this is the start!!!

1. accomplished because i finished part of my load (blogging and posting of party pics) for this week. stayed online at Coffee Bean in Gateway with Bodj til 7pm.
2. happy because lil boy had 2 stars from school, may epek ang aking sermon. =)
3. feeling techie because Bodj did a lot on my new phone. now i can surf, chat (YM), call free via Skype, etc. and do a LOT more using WIFI alone. aliw! =)

Today
1. sad because lil boy didn't have stars again! i'll do a separate post on this.
2. worried because my bro was admitted to the hospital today due to dehydration.
3. had to go to the hospital late night awhile ago to bring some food and stuff for my bro.
sad & busy day huh.

it was lil boy's 2nd (and last) assessment a while ago.

we were in the school 5mins before 10am. Sam and lil boy took the exam together, 3 seats apart, hahaha, parang magkokpyahan pa sila noh.

they finished the exam after 20 minutes. sabi nga ni Teacher, they were the fastest batch, because their classmates take the exam for about 45 mins daw.

after that, we went to,,, san pa ba, eh di sa Robinsons. ate at Jollibee, as requested by lil boy. then bought some groceries for my Sunday party. after that, went to the bank, then to the market.

yeah, as in wet market, with lil boy. it's his 1st time to walk sa maputik na palengke, hehe. though Marikina market is one of the cleanest ha, but because of the rain, of course, it was quite dirty.

he even saw yung delivery truck ng pigs, as in yung mga nakasabit na pigs all opened up. haha, nagulat sya! he just said "dead pigs!"

after that, bought some things pa for my party, then we're on our way home.

ang lakwatsero kong anak, humirit pa ng McDo. hay, so off we went there. aba, naka-dalawa ang anak ko today ha. Jollibee at McDo, naisahan ako. =)

anyway, while he was playing sa slide ng McDo, i realized it was almost 3pm. so i told him:

Me: lil boy, last slide na ha.
Lil Boy: mama, last 10, please!
M: no lil boy. ok, last 3 slides.
LB: opo, last 3!
after 1 slide,
M: last 2 slides...
after 2 slides,
M: last 1 slide...
LB: opo, last 1 slide.
after the 3rd (and last) slide,
M: ok, we're going...
LB: mama, last 0 (zero) slide! =)

hahaha, humihirit pa ng isa!!!

Prayer for the MV Princess of the Stars fatalities and survivors.

Dear God, we pray that you comfort each bereaved family everyday as they grieved for their loss, we pray that you will supply all their needs, we pray for the survivors that they may have a good life after the tragedy, that you will bless them and let them know in the deepest part of their heart that in spite of what have happened, you LOVE and CARE for them. 1st day of assessment

we were already in school 10 mins before 10am.

as we arrived there, Sam was already inside the classroom taking the exam. it was a one-on-one thing so lil boy had to wait for his turn inside the classroom.

while i stayed outside and water-marked my party pics on my laptop while waiting for them.

after around 15 minutes, Sam went out already. she took the exam for about 25-30 minutes i think.

and so, it was my lil boy's turn already.

after around 10 minutes, lil boy went out already with Teacher Layn. finished na daw. haller, di pa nag-iinit ang pwet ko at wala pa akong nagagawa sa mga pics ko, finished na agad!

eh kasi naman daw, di pa sinasabi ni Teacher ang directions, sinasagutan na ni lil boy, pa-bibo talaga ang anak ko! the Teacher was smiling naman while telling me, so feeling ko, ok naman ang assessment nya.

i even told her na i'm excited na for their next lesson, kasi i saw sa book na alphabets na ang next topic nila. told her na i won't have to teach him anymore.
then Teacher told me na he's giving advance lessons na daw to lil boy, he's teaching him sounds of the alphabets already. para soon, he'll learn to read na daw.

nyek, kala ko pa naman eh pahinga na ako sa pagtuturo this time, yun pala, may advance lessons na anak ko. kaya need to teach him sounds as well here at home.

back to the assessment, lil boy got a big sticker.

so he knew what that meant, very good sya. kaya ayun, Robinsons daw kami, buy daw sya '123'. so off we went and bought him another Math booklet.

last 2 subjects this Friday...

Classes suspended!

i was one happy Mommy when i heard the announcement on late night news that classes were suspended due to typhoon SONA! hehehe.

you see, lil boy wasn't really feeling well that Sunday. he was brought by hubby to manghihilot because he was having cough, colds and fever. and as usual, may pilay nga daw sya. that's why our planned lakwatsa to Bonifacio High Street was cancelled.

so i wasn't really planning to send him to school today because i wanted him to rest and be ready for his assessment come wednesday.

so luckily, no absent record still for lil boy because there were no classes indeed! hep, hep, hooray! =)

kaya eto, 4 days straight ang vacation namin from school. and from time to time, i review lil boy with his lessons. di pa kasi alphabets and numbers ang lessons nila kaya di pa nya ganun ka-master, hehe.

i'm having quite a hard time teaching him with the "similar-different" concept, and also the "excess" thing, yung tipong excess kapag 3 legs ang chicken. eh haller, di pa naman masyado familiar ang 3yo dun noh. anyway, we're getting there. =)

so good luck to us. i'm excited and nervous at the same time.
hay, the stages of motherhood. =)

yesterday, Teachher Layn gave us the schedule of lil boy's 1st Assessment.
as expected, kaming mga parents ang kinabahan, hehe.

july 28, monday - regular class
july 29, tuesday - kinder & prep; no classes for nursery
july 30, wednesday - 10 to 11am - Sam & lil boy's sched (Reading & Science)
july 31, thursday - kinder & prep; no classes for nursery
august 1, friday - 10 to 11am - Sam & lil boy's sched (Math & Filipino)

nyay, need to review lil boy. this is it!!!

lil boy had his 1st assignment last July 9. and boy, i was excited and nervous, hehe.

here is my lil boy doing his assignment on his own, with full energy ha, hehe.

STARS!!!

a STAR stamped on the hand of a pre-schooler is a sure delight of every Mom. because this indicates (in a way) that your child behaved in school, during the times that you can’t monitor him personally.

during the first 2 weeks of my son’s schooling, there were no traces of a star anywhere, hehe. though i would seldom see his classmates showing their parents their hands with star during dismissal time.

whenever i asked my lil boy, he would just tell me “wa”, “ayaw star!”. then i was worried, and so with my hubby, hehe. he would ask me to ask his teacher why he didn’t have a star. haller, ayoko naman noh. baka feeling nila eh masyado akong “feeling”, hahaha.

until i checked the books of my son. and there i saw a lot of stars!!! hala, may mga nagawa na pala silang activities sa books, di ko man lang alam. BAD! and dun ko nakita na puro ‘Very Good’ ang marks nya sa book activities nya.

and so the following day, i bravely asked the teacher if why he doesn’t have stamps on his hand. it turned out na ayaw pala nya palagay, kasi dirty daw! hay, OC talaga ang anak ko! kaya ayun, sa books na lang nilalagay!

so i explained to my son the importance and the essence of the star on the hand. and feeling ko naman, na-gets naman nya. kasi the following day, ayun, he had 2 stars on his hands na. and he was so proud!
paglabas nya ng room, takbo sya sa akin with a big smile on his face, showing his hands! “mama, stars! punta tayo Robinsons, buy ABC!”. lagot, napasubo tuloy ako, hehe. kaya diretso kaming Rob after, for his treat. =)

and now, it is a daily routine. he doesn’t go home without stars! as in everyday na, either 2 or 3 stars sya lagi. i’m just so proud of him!!! at dahil mamumulubi ako if everyday eh mag-Rob kami, i amended the contract, hehe. weekly thing na lang ang treat nya, mwehehe.

but seriously, i’m one proud Momma! and all i get from the teacher is positive feedback. =)

on July 12, 2008 (Saturday), they will have a Grand Welcome for a very special guest, Wu Chun and Calvin Chen of Fahrenheit (Taiwanese Boy Band) and also the leading men of Romantic Princess (Taiwan Drama Series). and he’s the leading man yata sa Hana Kimi.

and guess what, i’ll be their special guest too! ay mali, yung mga balloons ko lang pala. hahaha.

yeah, i’ll be decorating the whole stage and dressing room of Wu Chun this Saturday in ABS-CBN.

i’m so excited kasi showbiz ito, hahaha. unfortunately, i won’t be able to watch the actual show because i have a party by that time. waaah!

at ang aking ‘jologs’ na best friend, kulang na lang ay magmakaawa sa akin para lang isama ko sya sa studio, hehe. nuon pa daw nya actually iniisip if paano sya makapanuod ng show ni Wu Chun and to see him personally. ayun, para akong hulog ng langit sa kanya, hahaha. kaya sila na lang ng assistant ko ang mag-stay sa studio to document and take pics of the show.

honestly, i don't know them. i'm not a fan of 'Koreanovelas' na kasi eh. medyo busy na sa gabi kaya no time to watch. though i know most of it are really good.

hay, i just hope i’ll be able to see some artistas sa studio during my early set-up on Sat. hahaha, ang jologs ko talaga! =) kahit si Papa Piolo na lang ulit, hehe.

hope you can catch the show this Saturday, around 3pm. para naman tumaas ang rating.
