Sorry lah... I know the blog's pretty rotten, but didn't have much time to update it ma. Okay, so I may have been lazy on a couple of occasions... but at least there's this entry now :D

Now, what shall I blog about? Let's see... just before CNY, I ALMOST lost my wallet. Was out shopping and accidentally left my wallet in the changing room. Did not realize it was not with me till I was at the cashier trying to pay. I ran back to the changing room and to my horror (although I half expected so), it was not there anymore. Went ask the shop assistants and they did not see anything. Started calling my parents and getting numbers so I could cancel the cards.

After calling my parents, I received a call from one of the credit card centres. And believe it or not, the guy who found my wallet called the credit card centre to inform that he found my wallet and got them to call me so he could return it. The centre gave me his contact, I called him and 15mins later, my wallet was back with me. So guys, if you think nice people have extinct, here's a glimmer of hope. Even the shop assistants were surprised that I actually got back my wallet, without anything missing. My cards were there, ... so were my IC and driving license... and not a ringgit short. I know it'll be very unlikely that he'd stumble upon my blog and read this, but thank you, Mr Ching!

Spent 2 days before CNY and the first 4 days of CNY in Klang. Did not go back to Malacca this time around as my aunt was down in S'pore helping my cousin bro's wife with her preganancy/confinement thingy (sorry ah... dunno the exact term to describe it). Guess what? My cousin bro's wife delivered a baby boy on Valentine's day. No one will forget his birthday in future for sure.

Anyway, back to CNY. It's nice to have reunion dinner with a large group of people. For the past year or so, my Mum, Dad and sis would join my uncle's family for reunion dinner. My aunt's family would join too. So that makes 4 from my family, 5 from my aunt's family and 11 from my uncle's family. It's a lively occassion... especially when my cousins are pretty happy-go-lucky type. They'd talk, joke, laugh and we'd laugh along. It's just.... nice ^_^

What else leh? Oh...I practically visited Aeon Bukit Tinggi 3 or maybe even 4 times within the 6 days I was back. Went there once with family, another time with cousins and aunt, 3rd time with dad, sis and cousins for Haagen Dazs... and the last was with LiLeng, Crystal and Pam for dinner.
Speaking of which, we househopped during CNY. First, it was my place. Wei Sze, Hui Ting, Crystal, Jiin (sorry I left out your name earlier, Jiin *gomen*), Li Leng, Lee Hong and Pam came. Then we went over to Lee Hong's place. Wei Sze, Hui Ting had to leave before that. But Wee Kuan joined us there. We adjourned to Pam's place and ate dinner at Aeon before moving to Li Leng's place. Many din make it, but having Wei Sze and Hui Ting join us was good 'cos we only get to see them only when they come back... and they don't often come back.

In Penang, my colleagues and I had potluck at one of our colleague's place. Total of 15 of us were there. We had lots of food. There was fried rice, noodle, KFC, sandwiches, potato salad, fruits, taufoofa, snacks, ice cream and satay. We were struggling to finish the food and some had to tapao back. After makan, we proceeded with games and I lost about RM20 >.<>

And tmr, MU will play Fulham. Hopefully they fare as well as the past 2 games la. Okay, enough said. Wanna do other stuffs. Cheerio~

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-31729546171279543852007-12-17T21:29:00.000+08:002007-12-17T22:32:40.120+08:00Eventful weekOkay, so after some thoughts, I realized I did have stuffs to update on. Last week must have been the most "happening" week for me 'cos I was out practically every night.

On Monday, I had dinner with William and fetched him to a nearby Tesco outlet to get some stuffs. He just arrived the week before to start his internship in a company situated js beside the company I'm attached with.

Tuesday, played badminton with Ying Xuan, Li Shih, Chin Keat, Poi Kun, Eric, Allan and William. Later, Choon Chin, Yee Chuang, Tee Whye and Desmond joined us at the badminton court. After a few rounds, some went to play squash, some went to the gym and the others continued playing badminton. We had dinner together and by the time we reached home, it was prolly around 10pm.

Wednesday night was pasar malam night. Ying Xuan, Li Shih, Chin Keat and I went to Farlim pasar malam after work. We were later joined by Boo Eik. It's quite a large pasar malam, compared to the one js in front of my apartment. Can you imagine? We stayed there for about 3 hours! I don't think I've ever stayed in a pasar malam longer than an hour, what more 3 hours? But it was fun la... walking around and looking at different stuffs.

Then on Thursday, we went bowling. It's funny seeing the different bowling "styles" everyone has. Like how Boon Kee skips a lil before releasing the bowl, Choon Chin flapping his "hands" after releasing the bowl, etc. Oh, Ching Foo improved heaps and bounds in bowling compared to our first outing. Think he must have been one of the top scorers that day. Wonder how and when he practices.... hmmm....

After work on Friday, Li Shih, Chin Keat and I went to the sports complex again. Some of the bosses and seniors challenged Li Shih to a game of badminton ('cos she was one of the team members that won the recent Free Industrial Zone badminton competition). So Chin Keat and I tagged along. But upon reaching the court... we saw so many pros there... we chickened out and played table tennis instead :p Played with Chang Wan most of the time. Did play doubles a bit with Kok and Choon Chin too.

Later, went to Starbucks to play Cluedo. Yeng Seng and Han Chern each brought a set of Cluedo. Since each set can play a maximum of 6 ppl, so Yeng Seng, Han Chern, Ying Xuan, Poi Kun and I played a set while Chin Keat, Yang Tih, Tee Whye, Choon Chin, Boon Kee and Chang Wan played the other set. It was quite hillarious at times 'cos Han Chern was kinda blur and so was Poi Kun initially.

After 2 rounds, Yeng Seng and Han Chern had to leave. So the rest of us continued by playing Uno. And as usual, this Choon Chin was the joker la. That one game lasted slightly more than 1 hour. Like what Ying Xuan said, we spent 3 over hours playing 3 rounds of games only. But then again, it was interesting playing Cluedo and because we had about 9 of us playing Uno, it's no wonder each round took so long to finish.

The next day was futsal!!! This time we played at Billion supermarket. Played for 2 hours straight. Don't ask me the score 'cos I think almost everyone scored a goal at least once throughout the 2 hours :p And after we played futsal, we had lunch together and went home to bathe and rest. Went out again later to get christmas gifts for the exchanging gifts session that night. Proof that Penang is very small: out of the 8 of us who bought presents, 6 of us got the presents at the same mall - Queensbay.

So anyway, we met at Babylon cafe. Very nice place with those cushion-sofa-like places to sit on. We played all sorts of card games, thanks to ideas from Li Shih, Ying Xuan and Allan. We played and laughed and joked and played and laughed again. We must have been the noisiest bunch there! But we had a very good time la. I got this head bobbling thingy as my xmas gift. I'll snap a photo the next time around and post it up here.

And yesterday night, went to watch footie. And Man Utd won!!!! Hahaha!! And because they won, I purposely wore my MU jersey to work today. It was kinda "paiseh" la at first.. cos I had my name printed at the back. But then again, damn proud to be MU supporter! :p There were others who wore MU jersey as well that day. Semangat MU-ism!!!! Nyahahahahahhaha!

Okay, enough said. I'll go on and on about MU if I don't stop now. Till the next post, cheerio!

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-61915307770285389602007-12-07T07:54:00.000+08:002007-12-07T08:11:38.801+08:00Since Lee Sue Ann asked to update, here's a post on birthday celebrations at the company I'm attached with. See, our department has birthday celebrations every month. They'll gather all the birthday girls/boys of the month, get some cakes and gather during break time to celebrate a lil. It so happened that they haven't had time to celebrate the September, October and November birthdays so they were all postponed to this month: December. Initially my name wasn't in (I suppose 'cos I'm still considered a newbie and they don't update their data that regularly) but Yueh Chin reminded the department secretary and they slotted my name in.

So, last Tuesday, we gathered all the September, October, November and December babies. I think there were a total of 20 people or so. Plenty of cakes! Uploaded a few pics here:

I wasn't looking at this cam's direction becos there were 2 cams at that time... they didn't go like, "1,2,3... snap" So I just main hentam look at one direction la.

The girls: Siti, Lai Yeen, Ying Xuan, Li Shih and myself.

That's Poi Kun who seems to be more interested in his cake rather than the camera, Boo Eik (not in smock), Li Shih, myself, Ying Xuan and finally Chin Keat.

Top L-R: Alan, Poi Kun, Eric, Li Shih, Boo Eik, Sue Anne, Chin Keat
Bottom L-R: Ying Xuan, Ching Foo

There's this other candid photo we took which was kinda funny but I shall not upload here la (right Ching Foo? - otherwise, if Siew Kee happen to stumble upon my blog, then it'll be REALLY bad, wouldn't it? :p)

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-23539831562577858902007-11-22T08:30:00.000+08:002007-11-22T08:41:33.937+08:00Birthday celebrationsSo I was back last weekend. Spent most of the time at home 'cos I fell ill but I did manage to meet up with Lee Hong, Li Leng, Crystal, Jiin and Audrey at Bangsar Village 2 for dinner that Saturday. I knew the occassion was to celebrate both Li Leng and Crystal's bday but I did not expect them to celebrate a belated bday for me. So yeah... we each had this cute cupcake and a candle on top of it. As usual, Sue Anne did not bring her camera and the photos aren't with me.

Anyways, we got a present each and my, my.... mine was the largest. And guess what? Lee Hong wrapped it with this big polka dot wrapper! Haha.. it was nice though and what's the content of that wrapper you ask?? Presenting.....

Ta da!!!

No, "Ta da" is not its name >.< At the moment, it's nameless. Will try to figure out an appropriate name soon. I've brought it to Penang with me and now I'm hugging it to sleep everynight! Thanks peeps!

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-11320619395331576542007-11-21T19:40:00.000+08:002007-11-21T20:12:27.907+08:00How I spent the Deepavali holidaysAs mentioned in the previous post, Lee Hong, Suet Leng and Li Leng came over to Penang during Deepavali. But before I picked them up from the airport, I went over to Bkt Dunbar for paintball with colleagues.

We first divided ourselves into 2 groups. The team I was in comprises of Tit Min, myself, Li Shih, Poi Kun, Tee Whye, Chang Wan and Tim

The 2nd group consists of Weng Heng, Kooi Sing, Choon Chin, Ching Foo, Virgil, Lai Yeen and Boon Kee.

Right before we entered the "battlefield", the weather was perfect. But after we put on our gear, it rained -___-" We still carried on though. We let the rain to stop a lil before starting and thankfully, it stopped when we started to play. We had 4000 pallettes and those lasted us 3 rounds. Unfortunately, my team lost all 3 rounds -____-" But it was fun!

I got shot 3 times though >.<>.< But again, it was fun!

Notice how dirty everyone looks?? :p

So yeah... that was paintball. After that, went home, showered and waited for Li Leng and the rest to arrive. They reached about 4pm I think and brought them back to the apartment I'm renting currently to put their luggages. Then, we headed off to Gurney for Pasembur and also hawker food. Later, we went up to Batu Feringghi for the night market. Before heading home, we stopped by at Pulau Tikus for its lok-lok as supper.

The next day, I had to work so I left my car for them. We met up for lunch at Queensbay Mall together with my colleagues. After work, I brought them to Kayu for Nasi Kandar. Quite expensive ah the food there. My meal costs around RM8 >.< But I suppose the food was ok lah. First and last time I'll eat there :p

On Saturday, we went to town to makan dim sum. After that, we went to Kek Lok Si. Took some photos and ate the famous Asam Laksa there. It started raining then and I was so afraid it'll continue to rain till evening, which will mean futsal had to be canceled. Anyway, we waited for the rain to stop before heading to Swatow Lane for cendol. I must say, I do like what they've done to the place. Very modern-ish and nice.

After that, drove back home and I was SO happy that it stopped raining. We changed and headed to BJ for futsal. There were a total of 11 of us; 6 girls and 5 guys. We split the girls to 3 a team and then slotted in the guys. The first 10mins was hillarious 'cos we could hear some of the girls screaming :p As we played longer, the screaming lessened and I suppose everyone got the hang of the game. Li Shih was our top scorer that day, bagging 2 goals. Choon Chin, Chang Wan and myself scored a goal each and Ching Foo scored an own goal. The scoreline at the end of the day was 3-3. Really fun ^_^ Unfortunately, we din bring camera then. So no photos >.<

Later that night, most of us met at Halo Cafe in Autocity. The singing there has dropped a lot since I last visited that place. But oh well...

The next day, all of us woke up quite late. We ate brunch together and then I had to send them to the airport liao. So yeah, that about sums out the activities we had that weekend. I'm currently trying to arrange more futsal. Problem is with the futsal courts. BJ futsal is cheap but it's open-aired. Rain means tak boleh main. Shall need to dig a bit more and see. Till then, cheerio ^_^

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-82248369942980156652007-11-06T21:23:00.000+08:002007-11-06T22:15:26.713+08:00More updatesAs promised, photo from Grace's wedding. Oh yes! Suet Leng, Li Leng and Lee Hong will be coming to Penang on Deepavali till Sunday. They'll be staying at my place during those 4 days. Will be bringing them around Penang. There'll be lots of makan makan and the highlight will be FUTSAL!!! Yes, fanatic Sue Anne strikes back! :p Asked several friends and colleagues to join us and I've even booked the futsal court. There'll be about 12-14 of us playing and I can't wait! I just hope it doesn't rain on that day 'cos it's an open-aired court. So, everyone! Pray for Sue Anne that it doesn't rain on Saturday evening!!! :p

And yes! I almost forgotten! Before Suet Leng, Li Leng and Lee Hong arrive, my colleagues and a couple of our US counterparts who are here in Penang for a few weeks, will be playing paintball together. Syioknya!! I haven't played paintball before. Though I heard that being shot at (with palettes) is kinda painful but it's helluva fun ^_^

So yeah... I'll update about those next week (if possible). I missed Grace's wedding last September and I missed last Saturday's japanese buffet outing in Shogun. How I wish I was there! Grace is the 1st amongst us to tie the knot and I wasn't there to attend her wedding. Suet Leng organized a gathering (the biggest so far - 27 ppl attended it) and again I wasn't there. Jealousnyaaaaaa. Well, at least I get to see some photos.

Alamak... I hope they'll continue to produce more goals in the upcoming games. They'll face a tough game against Villa in 2 weeks time. Villa have been playing some good football this season. I just hope the international break doesn't interrupt MU's current form.

Anyway, as promised.. more photos! It has been almost 4 days since I returned to Malaysia. I've bagged on a few pounds since I returned but most people say I haven't changed much. It's prolly 'cos my hair's longer now and it makes my face look a lil smaller than it should. So yeah... I believe after getting a haircut, they would change their mind.

Let's see.. what other photos have I not posted? Oh yes.. my birthday party that my colleagues organized, the North Berwick trip, the Incholm Abbey and the Man Utd friendly. Haven't got much time now so I'll upload a few of the North Berwick trip first ya. North Berwick is about 45mins train ride away from Edinburgh. It's more of a small town compared to Edinburgh. A real nice, countryside kinda place. Here are some photos to show what I mean...

One of the ruined castles in North Berwick (can't recall the name though :p)

We spent some time climbing the hill at the background of this photo

"North Berwick Law" - that's the name of the hill

The climb was somewhat tough, especially with strong winds blowing against us... but the view was spectacular.

That's the height of the hill, 615.6 ft.

Here's a glimpse of the view from the top. Spent Saturday noon with Wen Ling, Yueh Chin and Dave Nelson. Dave brought us on a cruise from South Queensferry to Incholm island. Yueh Chin and Wen Ling have the photos but have not shared them out. Will upload them once I get it :D

Then on Sunday, Wen Ling, Yueh Chin, Han Chern, Lai Yeen and I went to Calton Hill to take some photos. We also went to develop a photo and framed it up as a memento for Dave. And in the evening, I watched footie. Man Utd vs Chelsea.

It wasn't a good game to be frank. I think the referee was inconsistent. Some say that he was biased. But if you really watched the whole game, Man Utd deserved to be awarded a penalty and Chelsea was supposed to be down to 10 men... though the timing of Man Utd's first goal is questionable. All in all, I still think Man Utd have not up their game yet despite 5 successive wins. And surprisingly, I kinda pitied Chelsea. Having lost Mourinho at such timing and replacing him with someone unknown will definitely dent the players' confidence.

Anyway, meeting time. Will be back soon, I hope!

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-2204355693209967472007-09-02T00:02:00.000+08:002007-09-02T02:16:12.252+08:00Photos galore!
Uploading the photos sure take some time. Hmm.. what can I say? Work so far... let's say there's nothing much to talk about as of yet. But yes, I can see many different types of people. I hear tales of these people, but I've yet to verify whether or not it's true. We'll see how things go. But at the moment, everyone's been nice to me.

My current housemate in Edinburgh here is also from Klang. Ex-Kwang Hwa girl but she's 5 years older than me. She already has a 5 month old daughter. She's the one currently doing all the cooking :p I try to help by preparing the vege every now and then. Have not actually cooked a full meal yet. Hopefully I will soon la *fingers crossed*

The other 3 colleagues of the same team are penangites. One of them is my current housemate's ex-college friend and the other 2 are two years older than me. There's another colleague from a different team who's also an ex-college friend of my housemate.

Oh... if you think I'm the youngest here, you're wrong. There's another girl here who has yet to touch her 21st birthday. She just finished her diploma and joined the company about a month before me. Amazing huh?

Anyway, back to updates. Went to Glasgow last weekend to have a look around. Stopped by Falkirk town on our way there to see the Wheel. This mechanism is kinda cool. 2 canals are separated in terms of height and this wheel actually transports a boat from the bottom canal to the upper one by way of the wheel. So we actually saw the boat being transported up by moving 180 degrees up the wheel. Kinda fascinating. But we had to walk about 20mins to half an hour from the train station to the actual site cos there were no bus services that day -_____-"

But good also la cos I get to "exercise." Speaking of which, I've grown FATTER :(( The weather here is still relatively cold (although it's supposedly summer now) and once it's cold, one tends to get hungry fast. Thus, a FAT sueanne. I did go jogging once but it was difficult cos of the cold weather. Thankfully now it's starting to get warmer a lil. During the first few days after being assigned to mentors here, I was still wearing jacket to work and the mentors laughed at me -___-" But they're friendly people la, cracking jokes every now and then. It's kinda difficult to interpret what they're saying sometimes cos of their heavy scottish accent. Most of the times I just guess what they mean. Otherwise, I'll just smile and say... "uh-huh" :p :p

Hmmm... what else? Oh yes, I'll be off to Milan next weekend. Booked the tickets liao. I'll try to take as many photos as I can la cos I didn't bring the camera with me. Yes, yes... very silly isn't it? But what to do? My sister left for Japan a week earlier than me and she took the camera with her, leaving me camera-less. But doesn't really matter la. I'm not the kinda person into photography anyway. Currently counting on my colleagues to snap photos on my behalf once in awhile.

After Milan it'll be Dublin, then a few week's gap and then London, then Paris and finally Manchester. Yes, I plan to go Old Trafford again but this time, to watch a live match. Hopefully I can get the tickets for the first game against Reading. If I don't, I hope to catch the one against Chelsea. Bookings for the Reading game won't be opened till July 6th. So, keeping my fingers crossed I can get hold of one.

And after, no more out-of-UK trips. No money liao. Other colleagues summore plan to go Barcelona and Rome. I was like *sweat* when they said they're planning to go. Money no enough. No money, no talk and no plan.

Guess that's about it. I'll update the next time around. Prolly in... another month's time :p Hopefully I can get the photos from my colleague's camera and I can upload it here ya. Till then, cheerio

-PSA-

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-4067948865964963652007-05-21T19:50:00.000+08:002007-05-21T19:55:15.004+08:00And the countdown begins...In less than 24 hours time... SPM ended in Dec and I started A Levels in Taylor's in Jan. Then in April, I quit Taylor's and went into MMU in May. Throughout my uni life in MMU, the longest break we had was about 2 months and that was like the one and only time we had such a break. The other hols were 3 weeks long. And final year, the breaks got shorter.

After 1st sem of final year, we barely had 2 weeks off and *poof* we started industrial training. Then, right after our last day at training, we started 3rd sem. Now, barely a week after my final paper next week, *poof* I'll be heading to Penang again to start work.

Welcome to the rat race....

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-29070459929903567302007-05-14T17:24:00.000+08:002007-05-14T17:55:35.514+08:007 days leftIt's shockingly fast... to think I will only be in campus for another week only (assuming I don't fail my subjects this sem)... it's unfathomable.

Close to 4 years here in Cyberjaya already. I still can recall the very first day I entered uni. Had to register hostel... stayed in the 4th floor. Then the night before we start lectures, the gang and I went "scouting" around in campus to look for our lecture venues. We were amazed by the XR rooms.. cos it looked very much like those medieval semi-circle courts. Not fascinated by it anymore after facing it for 4 years :p

After my final paper, I'll be heading to Penang on the same weekend to start work. Again, it's fast. Few days after finals, I have to start to work liao. No break. Saddening but there's a catch. Will update on that later on. Right now, got to get back to work.

Cheerio!

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-14243783325796915842007-05-09T10:02:00.000+08:002007-05-09T10:15:36.480+08:00Please HelpI've been trying to post up this message for the past week or so and hopefully this time, it gets through.

Anyway, as you can see in my chatbox, I'm helping Wee Kuan (high school friend) to raise funds for her cousin. Jovi (Wee Kuan's cousin) has been suffering from leaukemia for the past 8 years now (if I remember correctly) and recently, he's been diagnosed with diabetes and another illness. He needs about RM150k to sustain the treatment for the next year or so.

Wee Kuan's family have liaised with MCA to organize a marathon for this cause. The marathon will be held on 10th June at Setia Alam, Klang. There will be a participation "card" where there are 10 rows. Anyone can fill up the card with any amount of money but the card is worth RM30. Each card that totals up to RM30 will be entitled to a free t-shirt for the marathon. Those who do not wish to participate in the event can contribute any amount of cash. No amount is too small. A little goes a long way...

This is not a SCAM. I repeat. It's NOT a scam. I've known Wee Kuan for more than 10 years and I know Jovi around then also. I actually have an article in Sin Chew daily that highlight's Jovi's plight but I can't seem to upload it on blogger. But I do know that The Star will be doing the same and you will be able to see an article of him on Mother's Day.

So again, I hope anyone out there can contribute a little and ease Jovi's parents' burden in funding his treatment. You can reach me here or sms/YM/MSN me. If I'm not online, you can leave me an offline message. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanking you in advance,
PSA

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-4335325421088007692007-03-13T14:01:00.000+08:002007-03-13T15:04:00.631+08:00My 100th post on blogspot

Didn't notice that this post will be my 100th post since transferring from xanga to blogspot till I logged in just now. Got this off from the drama's subtitles. It doesn't really make sense. Some parts do, but then other parts seem to be a lil out-of-place I think. My exam is in less than 2 weeks time and yet I'm watching Goong (Princess Hours). Been trying to download and use SQL Server Express Edition but it's driving me mad, really. I dl-ed one version to another. Each time I download one, after setting up, I try to "play" around with the features and there's always some files or functions missing due to incompatibility to Windows Vista.

Yes, I've gotten a new laptop. The desktop was giving me a lot of problems. Wasn't prepared to do my FYP project in that desktop, only to find the files are corrupted later on. Wouldn't wanna risk that. After getting the new laptop, I thought my problems will be solved. Mana tau... more and more problems pop up. And to make matters worse, the download rate is so blardy slow. There was this time when I dl-ed at the rate on 1kb/s. Ridiculous, I know.

I also dl-ed some video tutorials on SQL. Again, the dl rate is freaking slow.. it takes me ages to dl one episode. So, while I wait on the downloads, I watch Goong... a Korean drama my sister introduced me to. Rather interesting drama. Not as hillarious as... crap, I can't remember that Korean drama... anyways, it's not as hillarious but there was plenty of emotions flying here and there.

Yeah... so, I've js finished dl-ed and installed the latest SQL express that I hope will work. Otherwise, I'm really at lost here. I also need to install another file to complete the entire program. Dun understand why they can't put it all in one file and save the trouble of us having to dl it separately.

Anyways, bed time now.

Last 11 weeks, Sue Anne. Aja~!

psueannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994162.post-51821173596184873202007-02-02T12:53:00.000+08:002007-02-02T13:30:48.765+08:00Crazy dayYup... yesterday was a crazy but fun day. Slept at midnight, woke up at 4am js to catch Man Utd thrash Watford 4-0. After the game ended at 6am, tried to sleep but couldn't really sleep 'cos I was afraid I'll oversleep and miss the 7am dim sum with friends.

Anyway, at 7am, 2 car-load of ppl drove to Sri Petaling for dim sum. Took us abt 30mins to reach there from campus. Back in Penang, it would've taken us less than 30mins to get to a place with good food. Worse still, the dim sum place we ate at... the food wasn't that good. There were quite a few dim sum places at the area but didn't know which one was the best. Su Chong said he tried a particular shop last time and found it was not bad.

But after eating the food, we realized it was cold and not as tasty as we expected it to be. So we concluded that the food was prepared the night b4 and we were eating the "leftovers." Think the only good dish was the "cha siew pau." Oh well, it doesn't really matter. As long as there's company, wherever will do for me :)

Came back from dim sum about 10+am. Upon DHL, Chiawyin dropped by Old Town there and I checked out the price for the outdoor futsal court. Unfortunately, no one was around and I took down the contact number of the person in charge from one of the employees there. Once I reached back to the hostel, drove out to check out the new community hall in cyberjaya that was just launched last weekend. Found the place to be next to CyberPark and enquired the rate of the indoor futsal court.

Went back to hostel to sms the outdoor futsal court guy about the rates. Mana tau that guy replied, "can i have your email address? i'll email u the rates tmr" -_______-" I asked if can book the court for today and he's telling me he'll give me the details tmr. So, I figured it's not opened today and scraped that out of my list. Told the rest about it and informed them about the new community hall.

Everyone agreed to it and I booked the place from 4-5pm. So, at 330pm, Chiawyin, myself and Choon Keat drove the whole gang to the hall and when we reached the court, it was heaven~ The last futsal court (in fact, the one and only time I was at a futsal court then :p) , it was cemented floor. Here, it's laid with artificial grass and it's new. So, it was nice to see and nice to play :D But dunno if the management will maintain the place properly onot. It's always nice when it's new.

Besides Ah Toi and Choon Keat, the rest of us dun really know how to play futsal. So we main tendang only. But it was fun. Good workout too. Ker Chean's stamina is superb~! She ran up and down non-stop. I was already panting halfway through the game. Ohh... and Phei Phei broke her nail whilst playing. She stopped halfway and took some photos of us playing.

Here are some shots of us playing (click on the photo to view enlarged size):
Chiawyin and Mun Yee running after the ball

William and I in action

Chiawyin and Wai Mun tussling over the ball

The girls...

The group

bottom (L-R): Ah Toi, Willim, Choon Keat
standing (L-R): myself, Huiboon, Waimun, Pheiphei, Kerchean, Munyee, Sheryl, Chiawyin

All of us had fun and now we plan to make it a weekly event. Anyway, I plan to buy a futsal ball and then we don't have to keep borrowing from EuJin in future. This whole futsal thing is getting me all excited. The one in the water park.. have yet to get photos from housemate yet. In fact, I have some photos for the Star Walk in my hp. But my sister took the bluetooth device with her to Malacca, so those photos will have to wait la :p Anyway, here are the photos:

Bkt Merah
