Meanwhile, Marvel has beaten me to it, and has published their own Pride and Prejudice, which is not surprising given the fact that it's taken me about 9 years to get through approximately a quarter of the book. We created a collaborative print with The Sampler for the February Sampler. It's a limited run of 250. You can get one in the Sampler Shop! By the way, I am totally into mermaids and narwhals right now.

Logo for Hawk and Raven

A recently completed logo for Hawk and Raven.

Here are some process images - these are the first round of roughs I provided to the client. She wanted a hawk with its wing around a raven, but was open to other ideas. She ended up choosing sketch #3, which I inked and colored digitally, and ended up as the finished logo above.

Work in progress

It's been so long since I posted anything, so here's a work in progress. We just finished moving to a new house, and we're booked up with illustration work through the end of the year, so we will be busy.

We have two shows coming up next year as well - we'll have our work at Redux in Portland in February, and at Trabant in Pioneer Square in Spring.

I previously worked with Jen on her logo for Tickle Fancy, and then she asked me to create some illustrations for her new shop! It's filled with a variety of wonderful handmade items from independent designers, so go check it out. As always, I encourage everyone to buy handmade for the holidays, and the Indie Fixx Shop is a great place to start.

Okay, and obviously they are not eating his head, because they have big chunks of flesh in their hands... but I didn't feel like going back and putting something else in, since this is something I was just playing around with.
