In the past I have done many but the best response has been to mailing some "lumpy mail" to each member the week prior to the meeting as well as another piece of mail that is not lumpy. Use a Generic return address and see how many people remember getting 2 pieces of mail from you. The last time I did this only 50% of the Members (about 20) even opened the "non lumpy mail". 95% retained the item in the envelope and remembered what my message was. It was a fun experiment and it produced many direct mail campaigns for my fellow networking members.

The second most appealing presentation was Bingo. The trick is to show the particularly cool goodies like the Illusions (from Prime Line) calculator that rolls back and the imprint changes or a screwdriver with a flashlight. The notebook from Sweda with a pouch for business cards or coupons is another fun and versatile item. People love to come to my showroom and play with my "toys" because I get samples of unique and interesting items. And I give everyone one of my self promo items. Hope that helps!Elaine from Marketing Galore!noreply@blogger.com
