Montreal Comedy Festival

Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up on upcoming performace dates. I'll be perforing July 8th through the 13th on the Nasty Show at the Montreal Comedy Festival. Back in Action, "Are You Serious" and Roger Clemens

It's been awhile, I know. I said it before, and I'll say it again, I'll be posting weekly from now on. I promise. Even if it's just to describe the banality of my day to day existence running errands and sitting in traffic, you're gonna hear about it. At least once a week I get a request for a blog update. Granted the requests are from friends and family, but requests just the same. So here's what you need to know. I'm currently putting the finishing touches to a pilot I wrote, acted in, and produced. If all goes as planned, I'll be able to sell it, and replace a large portion of my savings that were required to finance the sucker. I can't tell you much about it (legal reasons) and a huge fear of getting ripped off. But it's funny as shit. It's called "Are You Serious" It stars myself and a gaggle of talented people. Just cause I feel like dropping some names; Scott Beehner, Brian Allen, John Joyce, Chip Kratzinger, Erin Neimeyer, Matt Waker, and Matt Hummel. Whether you see it on t.v. or you tube you're guaranteed to enjoy it. Stay tuned...

I can't forget to congratulate my favorite pitcher and Yankee great Roger Clemens on achieving his 350 win. It's only been accomplished twice this century and might be something we never see again.

Trapped in TV Guide all weekend long

Hey kids. Just got back from Vegas. Pulled my first all nighter ever. Seriously. I made it through college without staying up all night, and it takes me 30 years to accomplish the feat. I guess it helps when you're catching cards at the black jack table and 5 hours feels like 20 minutes. Well if you can, please tune into the TV Guide channel this weekend. We're doing a spoof of the Bachelor, and I'm playing yours truly. Check your local listings but here are the pacific times:

So, last night I won the Best Comic in the Valley Contest. Thanks to everyone who came out to see a great show. There were some great comics on the bill, congrats to my friends Earl Skakel, Steven Glickman, Matt Walker, Matt Hummel, Whitney Cummings, Dan Barton, Jason Hadley, Renee, Joey Rockenstein, and many others I'm sure I'm forgetting who all turned in quality sets. Alright people. I'm a little behind on my two week committment but I'm getting better. If you have the time, come down to the Friar's Club and see my showcase on March 2nd. If you've never been it's a lot of fun. The Friar's Club is located at:

Get there by 8:30 and you'll be fine. There's ten comics on the bill and we're all doing six minute sets. Stay afterwards and hang out in the lounge. We can sing songs with the piano man. The main thing is you need to email me so I can put you and a guest on a comp list. Also if you have the time you can check out one of my more recent sets at www.sttv.com It's a free streaming media/entertainment website. Just go to www.sttv.com. What happened to Chris?

First of all let me apologize for not updating my blog. I'll blame my absence on the holidays, like everyone else seems to do. The holidays, well you know what I mean. I love the way people use this excuse for shitty behavior. "Go easy on uncle Frank. The holidays are always hard on him." Like Frank's not an alcoholic wife beating womanizer the rest of the year? It's like people cash in on a season pass to be pricks. I'm digressing. Let's be honest here. I've been a bad self-promoter. But that's all about to change. Becuase I'm making resolutions. So 2006, let's see, aside from committing to working out more than once a month I will also be updating my website every other week. I think that's reasonable. So what have I been up to? Quitting smoking for one. I decided it was time when I got back from NYC in November. So far, only one relapse. I went out on a Marlboro Light. It wasn't even a 100. It made me cough, and brought back memories of my first childhood cig. Those were the good old days. Playing pinball at the Circle K, in Boise Idaho. One ciggarette. I'll take it. I will admit I took a step back from my social life to avoid the familiar smoking situations. This has meant a decrease in gigging but an increase in writing. I'll take it. I've got a showcase in March,(I'll post the date later this week) So, now it's time to bear down and somehow make all my blue material "industry friendly." That means no hate, gay, racist, pornographic, ageist, pedophile, or transvestite/sexist material. Basically 99 percent of my act. I can't wait to bomb. Does anyone know a polite way to say "Good luck, Droppin mookie sticks out of your meat curtains honey?" What else? I've been working on a show called Overhaulin. I'll be sure to post the air dates if I ever get them. That's all for now. Good luck in 2006 everybody!
