So yall won't be freaking out we made it to Miami safe just really late. Just wanted to let you all know cuz I will not be taking calls or text and I won't be checking voice mail. I called the wireless company and if I just have my phone on its still roaming. Any calls or emails and text that I get and still don't answer it will charge me for roaming. And you know how many emails and calls I get daily we not going to even discuss text messages. I aint A-list makeup artist yet. I'm not trying to spend what I just made. So monday evening I will call everybody back and answer all emails.

I hate that I won't have any access to anybody except michael. Just going to have a great time relaxing and drinking and drinking. What till yall see my tan!!!

BGD GOES TO JAMAICA

This assisgnment couldn't come at a perfect time. My client/bride Charmaine is getting marry this weekend in Jamaica and she will be flying out her glam squad. Charmaine contacted me when she saw the press on me after working with Larry King & Brad Pitt for the Larry King Live Show. When I was done from working with them that day I received a phone call from her saying she would like to book me for her wedding. So the time is here and it couldn't be perfectly plan. My rough schedule with Essence Music Festival has exhausted me so I need a break...cocktails...a beautiful beach...and some fresh mango's.

So I will be gone Friday-Monday.

Can't wait to come back with a tan!!!!

INTERVIEW

I just wrapped up the interview with Stephanie from Times Picayune. She contacted me last week but because I was busy working with Essence Music Festival I had to reschedule. Stephanie was so understanding and so after getting some rest I was able to speak with her about...what else...MAKEUP.

Stephanie is doing a story on wearing makeup in the warm weather. We talked for a long time. She was a pleasure to talk with both girls from the east coast married local boys.

So that article will be out in August 08. I will keep you posted on the exact date as soon as I learn more.

Don't forget to look for the WISH insert in Times Picayune that comes out on Friday July 11th. I know they told me that the WISH insert goes to the following location: UPTOWN, LAKEVIEW, METAIRIE, SLIDELL, COVINGTON area. Grab me some copies cuz I will not be here.

Essence is over

It's 7:35am on Monday and Essence Music Festival for 2008 is now over for me. As, I walk down the ramp to the car leaving the Windsor Court hotel I must say I will miss my crazy week. My last person was at 6:30am and I am ready to crash for a few hours. So, any emails or phone calls I missed I will return let me just turn off my phone and shut down for a few hours.

Before leaving Angela's room that evening she told me to just take myself off the books for next year and that they just need to book me a room at the Windsor Court because of the early hours and the going back in forth. And I spoke with Sandra at Essence she said the same thing...next year is going to be bigger and better. So that mean my schedule will be just as tight. We talked about a lot of other things that I cannot share with you just yet but definitely some great news...well for me.

It was really cool to have someone drive me around to each location...moving on up:)))And to have someone to take all of my calls was so easy. It can be stressful sometimes so it allow me to be creative all day and not worry about bookings, rescheduling, questions about services or people calling me whom I have never met telling me why I should give them my overflow of assignments. That is why I wish I had my former assistant Tamicha Roberts back in my life. But my guy held me down...he was amazing!!!

Andrea, a makeup artist from Houston came down to help me out. How sweet of her to do my hair on some down time in the green room. She's an awesome girl cuz she got it...she understood the way I work. She had thick enough skin to get through the 3 days. She was loyal, she was excited and she was ready for the long hours and she understood the schedule changing every few hours. She never tried to out shine me she didn't get all diva on me and try to stab me in the back, She got it and with that she will be helping me again and anyone else that I bring on will be put through a BGD Makeup Artistry Boot Camp. So Andrea my love thanks for holding me down and being there for me...luv u baby girl.

Another amazing person was Caressa Foreman whom is a loyal client since my first location. Every year she comes to me for makeup and to buy makeup. This year my schedule was so crazy with Essence that I had to move her time around and on one day I made her so late but she waited and that meant a lot for me. I was so so hurt more upset about it then she was. I LOVE MY CLIENTS....Caressa...thank you for being so understanding...LUV U

I will be working with BET Television next year for their On-Air Talent they already booked me. And my favorite new girl "TANICKA SANDERS" booked me for whom ever they will be bringing down this year. Rosci from 106th & Park was such a sweet girl. She thought it was so cute that I was in the chair getting glam by Andrea. She wanted her A-List makeup artist to look good...I guess. I used some of my makeup "Queen B" cosmetics and other stuff. She loved the two lip sparklettes colors that Kim Kardashian liked; "PIXIE & DIAMOND. She's awesome...Avant is shy...kinds sneaky shy:)))

On Sunday night I tried to be grown and go out for a few hours. We went to one of the suites...to eat and drink:)))) When we got there Chris Rock was on stage and y'all say I say crazy shit...no CHRIS ROCK has me beat. Why Darren was in there trying to be seen??? Wait Michael goes why he keeps looking over here:))))) We left after MJB did about 5 songs. I was hurtin trying to be cute in there.

So much more to tell you all but I have to crash for now.

Essence has started for me

I know your trying to figure out how in the hell is she able to blog with that crazy schedule. I'm big time... But I have a driver this week that's how come. I have been up since 3:05 am and its now 11:15am and honestly I am hurtin. I done makeup at the Windsor Court hotel been to 106.7 fm radio to talk about makeup and do makeup on the home team and yes even the guys. Back to Windsor Court and now I am headed to the Mayors office at city hall. I feel like I've been a bad girl going to get fussed at but the meeting is about the new show. Then about 5-6 more applications. I had one red bull since I been up. Well gotta go.

On The Radio...July 3rd

On July 3rd I was invited to come on Old School 106.7fm radio with the home team(LBJ, Kelder, Jinky Ashey& Big Abe) to discuss the makeup Do's & Don't during Essence Music Festival Weekend. Because I have been on the show in the past about 5 years ago and do have a relationship with LBJ & Kelder. I knew that this would be funny. I was able to go on the show after working with Angela Burt Murray and Miki Taylor from Essence Magazine because I had enough of a break. After going on the show as well as doing makeup for the Home Team I was able to leave from there to go straight to City Hall to meet at the Mayor's Office.

I am so excited about the article. I didn't have the date of when it was going to run but I was taking my shower this morning and my cell phone is blowing up like crazy. Because I worry about everything I'm thinking something bad happen because who could be calling that early. So, I'm thinking maybe it's Michael since he just left or family in Houston. But when I saw the text's starting with CONGRATS...I knew then. So I call Michael to see if he had the paper but he had to leave early sohe didn't take it to dark to find it he said. So I go outside in my robe to get the paper hair wet and all. And when I looked at the Liviving I saw myself and was excited!!!! After reading it like 3 times I returned all of my calls and finished getting ready to go to the studio today.

Multi tasking today

I am still working still on set for the Tabasco shoot and today and yesterday I had to take all calls both from the studio and my cell while on set. Well I really could not answer everything had to be done by email and texting. Then I have Michael faxing invoices and contracts for me. My thumb is in pain. I am conducting all my Essence assignments through my phone. Times and dates are changing every hour it feels like. Then I am trying to get Andrea the makeup artist from Houston organize. Susan from Times Picayune needed one more hair stylist to write about for next week article. I think she decided to go with Michael Fortune. Then in between trying to work on set doing makeup. I am over here sweating like a ho in church.

Michael and I will be working together during Essence on July 12th for Charmaine wedding in Jamaica. So today is the last day hopefully we wrap this evening cuz I still have to go to the studio to clean up for the Times photo shoot and get makeup for the wedding in Baton Rouge.

Ok, gotta go looking like we are ready to start up again so talent need makeup.

Tabasco

Hey, I am on set for three days with Chef Jason. He's this tattoo harley davidson type chef that is based out of Orlando. He travels all over to restaurants to help with their menu updating the food we eat. He's crazy cool love his personality. We are shooting over at Savvy Gourmet on Magazine Street about 9 blocks from my studio. Call time not to bad, 8am and we are doing about 10 hour days until Friday.

While on set I have gotten so many amazing calls, times picayune, motion hair product, someone for Rosciv at 106th and park and some author call about using one of my pictures she saw in my ad for her book.

Its just 3:05 pm so the day is not over. I need a manager for cheap or another assistant. My schedule is going to be crazy next week.

Thank God it's Friday

Another long day today with 3 bridal consultations today and 1 makeup lesson and that's something I don't do often. 2 of my brides were from Baton Rouge area and 1 was from Atlanta. Each girl had different looks which I love because I love being creative when I work.

Sandra called me from New York to see if I was able to work with Essence Magazine again this year. It's looking like it may be Angela Burt Murray again and Michele Ebanks. I love Sandra...she just wanted to lock me in and said she would called with more details on Monday. So I'll keep you all posted.

Tonight, Mel event starts at 8pm and it's about 7:13pm and I am still here at the studio having a great time with Katina teaching her how to apply her makeup for her trip in July to Jamaica. Let me tell you how crazy this is, I have a wedding in Jamaica one week before she goes. Maybe, I'll just stay to help her out:))))

Can't stay out to late cuz I have a all day wedding tomorrow at the Ritz Carlton and a bridal photo shoot early on Sunday at the studio so I can't be tired.

Veuve Clicquot VIP Party

I met this awesome lady today that came to get individual lashes for one of her upcoming events. Her name is TAZ and she is a professional body builder that lives here in New Orleans. I am going to get her to help tone me up before I go on tour in September. You know how hard those tours are on my body, 12-14hrs days for one month is horrible. So, I am going to start preparing next month as well as do a checkup on my body since I am getting tired and exhausted and I need to make an appointment for my feet cuz of what happen last year.

So Taz was the only person I had on the books so after TAZ left I closed up studio and went to pick Envy up from work at City Hall and Star was shopping at Canal Place so I snatched her up and headed home. I really wanted to take my time for tonight event at The W. Hotel. I was invited to attend the VIP Veuve Clicquot Party about two weeks ago so I had time to plan what I wanted to wear. The event was from 8-11pm and I really didn't know what to expect but when I got there I was told I was given a Cabana with flowing VEUVE CLICQUOT and HORS D’OEUVRES all night. There were only 4 given out and 3 were occupied by others like a hotel owner, a magazine owner and I am not sure who the other person was. So of course all eyes were on me when my black ass was escorted over. Throughout the night a few curious people kept coming in with different stories, somebody pretend they lost there purse, somebody thought it was a friends cabana, some guy came in and just started making himself at home cuz he assumed since we had the same associate it was ok to make himself at home. Anthony from New Orleans Black, his date and sidekick stopped by and enjoyed a few bottles. I was happy to see friends like Laura (my Honduras family) and Barbara. Perkins was there with Sean Cummings but I don't know what's going on with him and I.

Star got drunk quick....I didn't see her drink that much but Star was feelin good very early. She said I was runnin my mouth so much that I just didn't see her fill up her glass. The staff kept it coming every time I looked around we were getting a new bottle plus we had a lot of guest stopping by. Michael and Star was so pissed off about certain guest and people that kept coming in. But as I explained to him it's not that serious. I was invited and I am going to leave it at that....but that is why I love that Mary J Blige song "WORK THAT". Michael spent a lot of the evening taking pics of buildings and skylines cuz he is not good with dealing with fake people and/or black people who like to show their job positions with other black people.

Our boy Lane came up to see us and I wanted to joke with him about playing on my phone the night before. He called me like really late to tell me about the private event but he didn't know that I was already invited. So he thought it was a great idea to call me late when he was wasted. So my voice mail shut him down and he called back so now I am ready to pop off but when I saw the number I knew who it was. So we laughed about that but it got really busy and then some local tv show came in to interview Laura so it was getting crowded so he got lost in the shuffle.

Charles who work at Harrah's Casino came by. Star invited him over and of course I gave him a hard time because he has a girlfriend and a new baby. So I was like don't bring all that negative energy over here. I don't need girlfriend drama my way so he did that fake laugh but he really wanted to curse me out and throw my ass in the pool. But what was he going to do...really.

Beth Ann got on the mic about 11ish and invited everyone downstairs but we couldn't play with Lane tonight cuz I had to go across the street now to see my buddy "DJ Captain Charles" who was having a smaller scale birthday party then what we is use to throwing at Harrah's. Michael and Star didn't want to go...they bitched the entire time as we walked over. But you know me I love a party and I don't care about what type of music, people or who ever was over there. I can party with all types; low class, middle class and high class. It was crazy over there and I actually could not take 3 steps without seeing people I knew so you know I stopped and talked holding up the process of just going in saying hi and getting out. I finally made it over to him but I was freaking out how he had security and shit. But I love how he has grown. Charles see us and he comes down and if he didn't that would have been a problem. But, that's not his style he is a great guy so he wouldn't play me or Michael like that. To much history with him. I was trying to get a dance in cuz Lil Wayne song came on but they snatched me up so fast before I could get my arms up in the air and do my favorite pose. In my mind I was heading to the VIP area to order a drink....I was VIP across the street so I thought that meant I was VIP over at Harrah's. But really I was going to go to the bar but one had my arm and the other was pushing me from the back. I bet they planned that shit when I was talking...and I didn't get a chance to take pics!!!!

I'll see you tomorrow night at The W Hotel in the french quarter for the summer movie flick "The Devil Wears Prada" one of my favorite movies.

Tipsy Tini Thursday

After wrapping up a makeup application with Melissa aka DJ Soul Sister for the OFFBEAT Magazine photo shoot that comes out July 08 the Essence issue I had to head out.

I had friends in town that I met when in living in Houston through my girl pal Anna Garcia. Jim couldn't hang out but his other half did and boy did she have a great time. The Ritz Carlton Hotel is giving this VIP Red Carpet special invite party called Tipsy Tini Thursday. It will kick off an every week event there so on Thursday this may be a regular summer spot for me.

Michael and Fe came together and we met up downstairs in the lobby. Carlyn showed up later. Drinks were waiting as you walked the red carpet. Food such as raw oysters, sushi, and grilled shrimp and chicken was being served. Michael was excited about the cigars that was being made on the spot.Because it was warm they had a young lady walking around misting you if needed with my favorite evian water.

The event was from 5pm-7:30pm so enough time to feel grown like we did something before heading back to the studio to pack up and get ready for my long crazy day tomorrow. 1 commercial being done in Baton Rouge, a wedding in New Orleans and another in Baton Rouge.

At first I didn't want to tell everybody that I had a 12 noon interview today with Times Picayune because I didn't want to jinx myself. Susan came by and she interviewed me for about an hour. We basically just talked and laugh so it didn't feel like the typical ones that I have had in the past. This article should run in July in a the fashion WISH insert. SO be on the lookout for that plus I'll keep you all posted.

She may use some of the info for another piece that she will be doing in the living section of the Times Picayune. We schedule the photographer to stop by the studio on Wednesday to take a few pics of myself and the studio. Lord, I hope he got my good side.

Later that evening Star, Carlyn and I went to OHM Lounge to attend a private showing from LA designer Jeanne Bauer. She was showcasing her amazing custom jewelry and you know that I love custom, chunky pieces so I was excited about going.

You all have to take a look at her pieces at anujewelry.net their amazing. I look forward to working with her on an upcoming event in LA. I may have to get a few things for Essence weekend. Her pieces are bad ass to where I could just rock a baby tee, my skinny jeans and sexy stiletto and her pieces would be the eye candy.

My boy Billy came out with his sexy ass and Marco and Anais was there. She look so good such a sexy mom to be. Jeanne herself is bad ass she look like she should be a model instead of a jewelry designer. I was introduce to her by attorney Mark Bloom who is also a cutie. Mark is now living in California can't wait to see him on my next trip to my second home.

I had a few clients today at the studio. Michael and I had to go meet Jordan summer camp counselors at 4pm and on our way back we were both hunger so we went to Houston's for early dinner.

My last client for the evening was Jazz Singer Stephanie Jordan who had a show at 9pm. So she came by at 7pm to get her glam look for the show.

My girls Jessica and J. Renee are so sweet they came by earlier during the day to say hi and then later that evening they stopped by to bring me a large mango martini. How sweet is that????

BGD Mayor is back.

It has been 2 years almost three years since we taped the last show. The last show never aired and it's weird because the last show was about Hurricane's. Nagin had the hurricane guy in to talk about what to expect, what would happen and etc...ok it's giving me chills cuz I remember so well what we talked about. Everything that he said to me as well as on the show happen. I mean EVERYTHING that came out of this man mouth happen just like he said it would, word for word.

So today I am back at WDSU studio and it's not the same crew that use to be here. Nagin and I are left. Everybody was new, and the staff is so much smaller and this time Nagin does not host the show. Carlyn did a segment and radio personality Kelder from 102.9 FM did another segment. Franklin and Julie were running behind the scene things. And now we are only taping once a month instead of weekly.

Nagin arrived last at 10:15 so when he got there I was able to start on him cuz the girls were done as well as the guest. After we finished Franklin helped me pack up and I was done for the day. Picked the kids up and enjoy the day with my babies.

Ok girls I think I partied way to hard last week for the SEX AND THE CITY events we took part in. I have to post pics and tell ya'll how much we had. I will try to post a little here and a little there.

Tomorrow my lil friend, the city mayor is starting up the show again. So I don't know how long taping will be so don't stop by the studio cuz I won't be there. They say we will be done earlier due to his trip but we will see you know black folks are always late know matter how much planning they do.

Sex and The City...last day

Well today, I have 2 weddings both here in the city so I don't have to run all over the state like it has been lately. My first wedding is bride Caroline from Memphis so I had to go to Bourbon Orleans to do her in a few of the girls. I didn't have enough time to do any additional faces like they wanted cuz I have my girl Roma waiting for me at The Lowe's. This is why I tell brides to make sure their girls understand if they don't tell me in advance I won't be able to add them on when I am done because I am usually booked for another wedding or assignment. That's what happen with this group. I loved this bride she was amazing very gentle and her mom was very supportive and helped out a lot.

On my way down I saw Besty a friend of Jessica. We only met once but I know of her through Jess. Both Betsy and another young lady Natalie was also just wrapping up. Natalie is a stylist that came to my old Beauty Bar to do hair at an event I had. So I was able to chat with them while I wait about 25 mins for my car. I am so freakin out cuz they were making me late for Roma. How on a Saturday hotels are short staffed. Who's the manager. Y'all know how I get talking crazy to everybody but they deserved it getting me all stressed and shit. I get in touch with Roma and baby girl was like our just send a limo to come get you. I was ready to jump in a cab and then they finally bring my car. Driving like a craze woman just making crazy turns going down one way streets driving on 2 wheels...really...i was.

I get to The Lowe's and I don't think I turned the car off before I start jumping out grabbing my bag, my kit and my purse. Now this group is just looking at me like they were scared to approach me. I'm cussing and yelling take my keys give me a damn tickets get out my way what's wrong with y'all ...hurry up...just being BOSSY... but I was mad that they were just standing there looking at me.

I make it up to Roma we are both on the phone talking to each other. I told y'all she's loud like me so I can hear her voice so I am just following the voice. She tells me that they moved around the picture taken and everything was ok. Her husband like your good just relax we are on time. So I do her makeup and make her look amazing. This look is totally different from the first. More pink and this time I had to make her much much lighter. When I was done she looked like a baby doll. I touch up her mom when she arrived.

I had to freshen up so while I wait for the sitter to arrive I do my makeup and once I let her in I left to go back to the studio to change clothes and meet Michael so we could go to the wedding. She wanted me to come and attend and meet her uncle Governor Bobby Jindal and his wife.

When we get back to the Lowe's the guys at the door and the valet guys all give me a hard time telling Michael how crazy I was talking to them and yelling at everybody down there. They thought I was cute so that's why they let me get away with that foolishness. The wedding was beautiful very colorful and the food and music was nice as well. I love spicy food so that didn't bother me. Roma introduce me to everyone and the table she had us sitting they knew who I was so that was a good feelin. She got me on the dance floor but I was acting shy. It was funny when I was touchin her lips up I went onto my skirt band to get the lip color and brush the security guys thought I was reaching for something and through the corner of my eyes I could feel them stepping closer to me to see what I was doing. So when she brought me over to her uncle all eyes were on me.

We stayed for a little while longer and then headed out cuz I still had a party across the street to attend. So one more clothes change for the evening this time in the car. You know like old times just take shit off anywhere.

SEX AND THE CITY...BIG NIGHT

Yes, the big night is finally here. We are all so excited!!! Didn't hurt this morning like I thought. I was actually up at 7ish so I didn't do that much damage to myself. I have a light day today at the studio. Michelle D. came by to get her lashes and my Saturday bride Roma Jolly came by for makeup and hair appointment. Yeah, her culture allows them to celebrate all week the wedding. I don't even want to think what Michael and I and my girls would be like if we celebrated all week our wedding. I would be hurtin really I think I would have to get taken it to the hospital cuz it would be bad.

Now Roma was hurtin a little but she made it to her appointment. Shontell came by to get Envy and Devin and Carlyn and I have to meet up with them after work. The showing for our movie was at 7:10 and since we went to Canal Place it didn't take me long to get there. When we picked the tickets up they were already sold out so I am so glad that we got our tickets early.

The movie was awesome...LOUD...but amazing. I have to see it again cuz I was so excited and so was all the other women and men that was that I didn't hear everything with all the laughing and talking. I love the soundtrack and my favorite songs are "Labels or Love" by Fergie and New York Girls.

Our reservation for dinner at Houston's Restaurant was for 9pm but they allowed us a little time to get there...Got that Juice....Dinner was amazing and I am so glad that my daughter was able to hang out with me and the girls. She said she needed a full day to recoup from all of us but I know she loves us even if we are a little OFF.

Sex And The City Pre Party

Tonight is the first event to kick off "SEX AND THE CITY" movie that will show on tomorrow night. In order for me to do this I had to take myself off the books well not completely off the books but I stopped taking clients at a certain time. Cuz what normally happens is I help to get everybody to look amazing and then there is never enough time for me to look GLAM. Wait till u see the pics I have lost some weight...U know who I am doing it right??? Lots of sunflower seeds, salads, pomegranate juice, cocktails, and grilled chicken. Really...that's my diet:))))...And I have been able to get my big ass in my new skinny jeans from LA. I have about 10 more pounds to go. So, I rather lose money so I can take time to look just as good as everyone else...I KNOW...HOW VAIN...

So, tonight we have the first event at the W Hotel for 7:00pm. All the girls are coming out tonight and also my new baby girl Jamielynn. I got to Star for 7:00 and then we arrived at 7:15 so not to bad. Shontell was already there and she said it was crowded already. Earlier that day on my way home I stopped by to bring Lane the bar manager the gift certificates to place in the gift bag. Because I wasn't looking to cute I illegal parked, ran in and thank godness he was right byt he door with the Stilleto Vodka reps. Of course they all wanted to talk but I told them I was in a rush can't be seen looking like this. So gave him the package and got my ass out cuz I know I was going to need at least two hours to get ready. Yall know how much production it is for me when I get ready. I need the bathroom to be warm, smelling wonderful, the water the perfect tempertaure, music blasting, a few glasses of wine, a light snack, and all my makeup spread out cuz I never know how I am going to do my makeup. Tonight I wanted to exfoliate my skin and air brush myself with a bronzer so I had a lot to do. Plus, I stop and prance around the room and bathroom, then I have to play with my bling jews and so it takes some time if I want to be really cute.

So after all that bullshit I do we finally get there and have an amazing time. We had so much fun. Drinks was flowing all night so you know we were a hot mess. And yall know the the hotel does not have a dance floor but by the end of the night we created one when my baby boy Lil Wayne "Lollipop" came on. Actor Isaiah Washington took tons of pics with us and laughed at our crazy asses and said we really are the black verison of SATC girls...we tried to tell him!!!

A lot of associates came out and my Saturday bride Roma Jolly who is cousin to the governor Bobby Jindal came out an she inrtoduced me to all her entrougage. By that time I was feelin to good so I don't really remeber who I met. I love Roma...she's a party girl and loud just like me so we hit it off so well. When she came by earlier that day for the first time we laughed and laughed like old buddies.

I really don't know what time we called it quit that night or how we ended the night. I know we took tons of pics and nola.com took lots of pics of us, the hotel did as well. All that damn dancing I will feel it tomorrow I bet. We had a great time I know that. I am so glad that I was smart enought to not schedule an early client on Friday morning. I love the gold key chains that was given to us. I am so glad they arrived in time for the movie.

Since I didn't have anyone on my books today I took this opportunity to spend a fun day with my kids and Star. So we started out today at my favorite treat spot...The Kupcake Factory in Kenner. You all know I don't do Kenner but this is so worth the crazy traffic. This is why my body looks like it does because of treats like this. My favorites are:Wedding Cake, Caramel Apple, White Chocolate and Double Vanilla.
Wait...I ate so much this time that my black ass got sick cuz I also had the Banana Foster gelato and a bottle of granny apple soda. The kids seem to enjoy the cupcakes and my baby boy Jordan loved the mango gelato.

Ok guys its just not enough time in the day. I have been trying to call everyone back as fast and when I can. Our times are different so it doesn't work when I can call you guys. I'm sorry just bare with me. I had a half of a day off on Mothers Day and a half day in Houston when I spent time with my family.

I am about to jump out the tub head out to do this Soft Sheen Carson
/L'Oreal assignment on the west bank at a church. Then at 2:45 I have to be on Toulouse to set up for a bridal party. I should be done at 6pm cuz that's the time the wedding start.

My girl Jessica from L.A. is helping me out with the last two locations of the Soft Sheen gig. I am so glad I have her still in town holding me down.

On Friday I had to give away another assignment to two makeup artists cuz I couldn't make that one due to the weather for the assignment I was working on. I still earlier that day had Soft Sheen.

I had Devin for the last two days and she has been a great help with answering my phone and taking messages for me. She's is such a sweet girl and I am glad I have her on my team. She has learned a lot in the last two days about how crazy my schedule is and she wants to stay around so that's a good thing.

Let me get out this tub before I be late.
People, I will try to make calls to as many as I can when I get off. I will be heading to the studio after the wedding so ill hit up as many of you all as I can. At some point I need to eat today. I just realize that I haven't eaten in two days maybe that's why my head hurts. Do red bulls count?
