But Flatbush is home to the latest crane-related snafu in New York City.<br /><br /><a href="http://flatbushpigeon.blogspot.com/2008/06/ocean-avenue-pavement-collapse-at.html">Flatbush Pigeon</a> was first on the scene with the report and some good photos (The Pige's photo above). The scene of the sinking-crane-carrying-truck was in front of a new condo project called The Waterfalls on Ocean, more coverage about which <a href="http://brooklynjunction.blogspot.com/search?q=waterfalls">here</a>.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/newyork/ny-bc-ny--cranesinks0605jun05,0,3589815.story">Newsday</a> swoops in with these informative details:<br /><br />A truck transporting a small construction crane has sunk into the ground in Brooklyn.<br /><br />Firefighters say the flatbed truck was carrying the crane in the <a href="http://www.newsday.com/topic/us/new-york/kings-county/brooklyn-%28kings-new-york%29/flatbush-PLGEO100100802012700.topic" title="Flatbush" class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100802012700">Flatbush</a> neighborhood on Wednesday when it fell several inches into a sink hole.
