It's been awhile since ive updated, and here's a quick pick of things that have happened. Big welcome to the world goes out the Zia! Amanda and I were privilaged enough to meet Zia, the new addition to the world. Cute as a button good luck to Hannah and Jamal, no more wild nights out partying.

More recently, Graniph a japanese t-shirt company has opened a guerilla store in the Reed Space. Come check out all the great designs. You can find Amanda and I there on Sundays!

Swagger Party!

This was the party to start the party season! with DJ Clark Kent and performance from Lupe Fiasco, also appearance from Kanye West. The Swagger Party was the great one, despite the rain and cold weather people showed up and represented.

Taro Gomi

This is "monkey boy" I picked this little guy up from LA. He was created by a illustrator/creator named Taro Gomi, you may know him from his doodles & scribbles book or more reknowned book Everyone Poops. He's one loveable plush, that actually stands, even though his head looks incredibly heavy. Since the Plush collectable toy market is starting to go crazy with the appearance of uglies, and with the touma plushes now would be a good time to pick up monkey boy for your collection. if you want to pick one up just google for it "taro gomi monkey." Well worth the $$$.

Holiday Photo-Op!

We made it to the Jerz for the holidays and bounced back to the city inbetween, but with all that traveling there was time to enjoy some relaxation.

Christmas gifts, games, and knitting... Knitting?!

This year we headed over to my uncle and aunts house for some christmas dinner and some catch up. You know family affairs are getting too big when theres a second table. Present was: mom, dad, aunt, uncle, sister Jenn, sister's husband Mike, niece Katie, my girlfriend Amanda, cousin Raymond, his wife Lucy (kingkagames.com), their son Winston (He wants haaaaammm!), cousin Roger, and girlfriend Stacey (radiancejewelry.com). One of the highlights of the night, niece Katie makes her first doodie on the toilet (yes I went there...no I didnt take a picture, sicko!).

And to top off our trip to Jersey, my donated PS2 comes in handy and alot of fun with the power of guitar hero! Amanda Rocks better than I do. ("Monkey Wrench" 5 Stars)

Saturday was spent shopping with Amanda's buddy $teph aka mcgriddles. For breakfast we skipped McDonalds and their wonderful McGriddles and went directly to Cafe Henri a wonderful spot in the west village, just check out the wonderful yummies that they had.

With the coming new year a new change was in need, I welcome Canon 30D to the family!

This weekend was spent in NJ figuring out how to use the new camera. The nice sunshine helped with the pictures and the very photogenic Luna and Amanda were the perfect models. At the end of the day the last function to test was the timer...

The second coming of the Chanel bearbrick is now in the windows of the soho store! The only thing I can do is watch and drool as these toys come in and out of the window displays. Blogger Note: I am planning to sneak one of these bears out of the store, please if you can supply any of the following I would much appreciate your help... I need 3 fat ladies...One very large woman to take out the sun, Another to block the security guards vision and another one to hide in while I snatch and exit with one...It's actually just in the draft phase but I think im real close.

On a sadder note. YOU YES YOU JARED LETO YOU DID THIS! you and your silver crocs, it was just one big joke wasen't it, now look, look what you've done... Next thing you know we've got kids wearing all-over print hoodies and some limited edition crocs on, then and only then will we truly be able to laugh at them...

Thanksgiving was spent at Amanda's place in LI, It was one filling good time! We watched a documentary on video games on TV, who knew steve jobs was one of the inventors of break out. Then the feasters came over and we feasted on thanksgiving goodnesses.

The day after Thanksgiving we again took sometime to feast at Iris's house. We had good italian from Phil's and Dunkin Donuts to wash it down, just amazing.

One last treat to top of the weekend, we headed out to New Jersey where we caught up with Amanda's preggo friend Hannah, we strolled around a lake dined on pizza. After we headed back to their crib and watched the first season of the office and had some toll house cookies!

That wraps up my weekends good times.

Power Weekend!

Jemanda's Friday night was spent in Brooklyn, where we had a meal with Crate(aka Craig n' Katie), Lana and Maria! Cafe Lafayette was the destination! Good food and good time.

After dinner we were off to BAM where we watched Pete Francis and The Flyers, great music and great atmosphere. To wrap it all up this night went from Good to Great!

We were waiting all week planning and making sure we would make this event. THE BOSTON MEETUP! a great time with boston terriers running everywhere. Here's Luna meeting everyone.

We saw brown ones and small ones and big ones and blue eyed ones. It was a mixer of Bostons with all types of traits almost like a Darwin book documenting the evolution of a breed. Can't wait for the next one.

That evening Luna slumbered and with bread pudding in tow we ran back to Brooklyn. This time it was to Amanda's co-workers place Yvonne who's boyfriend happens to be JorOne(artist of doughnut painting in photo). When there we stuffed ourselves full with all kinds of goodies it was like a thanksgiving dinner.

When we left we happened upon the tenant notice from the HIP HOP CITY CORP! and then to top it off a NO SMOOKING sign.

That's basically the in's and out's of the weekend wrapped up into one small little package that you can carry around on your keychain!

Basically time on the farm, time in the mall and time at the Olive Garden was all we could hack before running back to the good ol' NYC.

Finally, Luna put on a fashion show for us, she got some new gear from old navy, "That's my girl."

This weekend at the Reed Space Pui visited Luna and played all day! The brisk weather was bad but the pigeon new era's we had definately brought in the sales from all over the states.

On a warmer note. Body Up in Soho carries fitness gear and as the weather gets colder the gear stays the same, but the bodies get colder ::wink wink::

The "Draw" show at the Fuse Gallery was a big show with over 200 artists. Heather showed up, and I saw some really awesome pieces including one from a college friend, Alexis Trice. Also there were some amazing pieces from WK Interact, Kaws, and Ron English. On another note there was a piece from Robert Craig, which I would have bought had I gotten there in time, a study drawing for the piece below. All in all a well put together show.

Israelies have infultrated Soho, with well priced goods and tasty drinks. With sandwiches like omelete, tuna, and others(half $3.60 whole $7 something) and drinks (espresso, lemonade, "bangin" hot chocolate) that are sooo good, we had a nice dinner for $23 dollars. But whats that "wiiiii!!!!!" thats right free wifi, and for all you cheap internet chatters, whats that? when are they open till? ALL THE TIME?! Seriously this ones for the college kids, reserve a spot during finals, this is the place to write your thesis.

Luna had a playdate with UNA! we decided to cage them and let them battle it out!

I recently got this toy, Love Love Love it, I just got one, the magic of macbook makes it 2...also the magic of macbook makes it one anatomy doll hehe.

The other weekend Jemanda had a visit from Amanda's mom and aunt from Cali! Blue Ribbon to celebrate!

And last night Jemanda welcomed Mary to the crib for an encore good time! high five for blog updates! wooohooo!

Its always exciting when you fill out a survey and you finally get to change something, so its not always the same, whether it be your income, age range, or in this case marital status. This is definately a sign of changing times when "living with significant other/partner" becomes a choice for current marital status.
