tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14185269364134818872009-06-26T15:36:14.261-05:00Shawn & Wally the Sports Animals BlogBoring viewpoints from our show and other things which appear to be entertaining!Shawnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10311571491501265726noreply@blogger.comBlogger90125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1418526936413481887.post-38129971635205770452009-06-26T15:30:00.003-05:002009-06-26T15:36:14.268-05:00Wally's Fruit Cocktail CakeFinally, after days of talk and debate, Wally has released his Fruit Cocktail cake. <br />Enjoy and thanks for listening.<br /><br />Shawn <br /><br />Grease and flour 9 x 13 pan <br />Heat oven to 350 degrees F. <br /><strong>INGREDIENTS – CAKE BATTER</strong> <br />2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda <br />2 pinches salt 2 eggs <br />1 1/2 cups white sugar 1 (15.25 ounce) can fruit cocktail with juice with juice <br />Topping <br />1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts <br /><br /><strong>INGREDIENTS - ICING:</strong><br />1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup evaporated milk <br />1/4 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract <br />1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 1/2 cup flaked coconut <br /><strong><br />DIRECTIONS - CAKE BATTER: </strong><br />Mix sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, eggs and the entire can of fruit cocktail including the syrup with electric mixer until moistened.
