Speaking of it.. Whenever I want to do yoga, but don't feel like heading to the gym, I just follow a few video workouts on YouTube. That works too!

New Choos!

I must admit I still like the designer collaboration events at H&M. The chaos, the crazy atmosphere, it really is an interesting social study in itself. And, of course I like a good scoop!

This year's launch - on a rainful Saturday happened to be extremely crowded. Lines were record-breaking long, and some crazy fashionistas had even camped in front of the store long before sunrise. So much for a pair of shoes...

Almost there...

I didn't get into the designated shoe-and accessory area, but I did get hold of the black leather dress and a blue cashmere scarf for my boyfriend. After a cost-utility consideration, though, I decided to return the dress in the afternoon....

... and get a pair of suede ballerinas instead! They are really comfortable and will suit well for everyday use, with jeans, leggings or skirts. Maybe not as sexy as the high heels, but way more
wearable.

I was not the only one to drop by the Elle + Filippa K shopping event. So crowded! Apparently, the 20 percent off all products attracted the entire neighbourhood, me included:)

What's in that bag?! Besides from the free copy of the latest Elle, these snake printed leggings went home with me. Can't wait to wear them! Must be at the next party, 'cause I love them already. Great fit and texture!

I dropped by the Solis beauty product sale after work today and picked up a few things: A lip balm by Jean Paul Gaultier for myself, and a few Christmas gifts. All products were heavily marked down - lip glosses from Artdeco at just NOK 10,- ($1,50)

I like! They keep open tomorrow as well, so your chances for a bargain are still open.

My outfit is composed by vintage tunic, blaer from Et Vous, "black rats" from Sass & Bide, boots from Enzo Poli, and DIY earrings.

Score with Faux Fur

Faux fur is hot this season. You can find a variant in almost every high street store at every price range. Still, hunting for the perfect piece one can turn out to be a hard chase. When the selection is wide, I actually find it more difficult to settle with just one, for what if there is a more perfect one out there?

After surfing the net, these are my top candidates to my idea of the perfect fur coat.

The only think that keeps me from buying this treasure is its price. 2595 NOK is a bit stiff, I think.

For patient secondhand hunters, Finn.no is a true haven. This coat is barely worn and could be worth a second life jazzed up with leggings, biker boots, and a fun scarf.

I love my new slouchy biker boots! I've been on the lookout for a pair of casual boots that really is made for walking (no heels...) for some time now. Some that I could wear with leggings, skirts or skinny jeans on casual days. Since I'm kinda on a strict shopping budget these days, I was delighted when I came across these at Finn.no Not only are they made from silky soft leather, they are also hardly worn and came at a super low price. A bargain!

I'm not a designer by profession, but I like being creative and make or fix things myself.

My latest obsession is beading earrings - a fun and easy way to get hold of your dream jewelry without paying a fortune. I've for long been a fan of the Norwegian designer Zusanna G's beautiful jewelry. So when a friend of mine proved me that they are not too tricky to make yourself, I let her take me to the store, Perlekjeden in Sandvika.

In addition to their wide selection of swarowski crystal beads, their staff are happy to assist if you chose to make your own designs in store. How convenient!

Saturday's Wear

After going through my closet, sorting out stuff that I'm sure I'll never wear again, I discovered a few things that were worth a revival. This skater skirt by H&M, for instance, had been undeservedly ignored for too long and deserved its second chance.

In general, I find it hard to separate with my clothes. Due to limited storing space, however, I have started selling some (at Finn.no) and giving some away the to charity (Family, fleamarkets or Fretex). But I never give away belts (tend to go in and out of fashion quicker than other things), jewelry, pretty dresses or clothes that bring good memories.

Besides from the revived skirt my outfit today comprise of ballerinas purchased at Century 21 in ew York, vintage scarf from Kiliwatch, and wool blazer from Et Vous (bought at Et Vous Stock in 15 rue de Turbigo, 75002 Paris that sells ends of ranges at rock bottom prices. Worth a visit if you're going to Paris!)

Scoop from Designerkollektivet's Sample Sale

Thanks to the great blogger Ladybird I found out about the sample sale at Designerkollektivet at Aker Brygge. Here, a group of Norwegian prominent designers sold out their samples and showpieces to very nice prices.

Therefore this wonderful skirt by the design duo Elton & Jacobsen finally became mine! I've been admiring it from distance for a while, but the price has been to high. This, however, was not.. And as a bonus this one is a one of a kind piece. I like!

Vera & William creates soft and worm undergarments in a perfect blend of silk and wool. Perfect for keeping warm, yet stylish during the long winter season. This will be my all days wear. That's for sure!

A French Lady's Fur

What I like about buying vintage clothes is that it has a story. Right now I wonder what French lady who used to own this fur coat that I got from Free 'P' Star in Paris. At least I like to think that it used to belong to a real Lady - or perhaps a Femme Fatale?

I added a belt to update the look, and I also plan on wearing a big scarf when the cold sets in.
