I was always just a Barista at Starbucks, but that doesn't mean I ever considered my supervisors as managing me. I would say that managers there don't (ever) deserve tips. but no, Supervisors at Starbucks are wage slaves too, and probably earn a larger percentage of the tips that go into the pile.
