You can copy eventtriggers.exe from Windows XP or Windows 2003 to the %SYSTEMROOT% folder. It will then work on Windows 2000.

I don't see how it will work without some extra software in server 2000, it doesn't come with the eventtriggers exe.

Wouldn't it be great if M$ would just implement a simple tarpit like they do for smtp?

Just a 2 or 3 second delay between login attempts would make a significant difference.

Going to try it out as I have been having the ame problem and doing something similar with etherpeek and triggers inside of it. I never thought of using this. Thanks.
