Not including all of the great hard copy album sales and single track downloads we had this year, but just in on-line download, FUJI MINX has hit 3000 full album downloads (and counting)! "Users Cheaters Theatres" is available on iTunes Worldwide, Napster, Rhapsody, Amazon, eMusic, Reverb Nation & More!

Thanks to everyone who purchased an album and made it possible for us to keep the FUJI Train a'going!

Why do people expect hard working musicians to give it all for free!

**This blog is NOT about our fans who spreading the good word of Fuji. This blog is about the websites who are distributing and SELLING stolen music! Enjoy!**

Consider this. I like how people expect their music for free, and then accuse the musician and record company of being less than honorable, and greedy. SWEET IRONY! I believe in time, the tide will change. And people will view stealing music as a bad thing. Just like racism, and Gay bashing has changed from the past. The Internet Service Providers (ISP's) are a great boom for artist, no question. But that doesn't give them a license to steal or kill. Does it? The bootleggers do get fined and shut down. If the individual artist wants to get a lawyer to serve papers and such. But the ISP's go about their business as usual. Giving any punk thief who pays his monthly bill, a vehicle to rob out in the open. Does the word ACCOMPLICE come to mind?
People who make music for A LIVING. Deserve the public, and governments support on this one. Accountability from the ISP's of the world. They could do a great deal in stopping this historical downslide of the Music Industry.

Project Runway's Kit Pistol & FUJI MINX, the new dynamic duo!

FUJI MINX has teamed up with Project Runway designer Kit Pistol (aka Christina Scarbo) to work looks for their upcoming tour show.

The first glimpse of this new look will be in a new photoshoot by San Diego art photographer Kelly Watkins set to shoot on January 13th, 2008. FUJI MINX' lead singer, GV aka Greta Valenti will be wearing a pair of fringe leggings from the Kit Pistol Winter Collection. Check out the collection here.

In ORDER! (These are NOT lame horror movie but GREAT movies that just happen to give you nightmares for weeks on end!)

1. Dawn of the Dead (2004- Dir. Zach Snyder) IMDB Page
This is a Remake...not the OLD 1978 George Romero Classic Slow-Ass Zombie movie, BUT a NEW, fast-paced, scare the shit out of you new take on a great idea! My number 1, hands down!

2. Shaun of the Dead (2004- Dir. Edgar Wright, Starring Simon Pegg( IMDB Page
Comedy YES! Scary YES!! = Second Best Zombie Movie, especially after watching 1!

3. 28 Days Later (2002- Dir. Danny Boyle) IMDB Page
Technically according to the movie, these are NOT zombie's, but live people infused with a virus that causes extreme RAGE! Whatever it is, it's fucking scary and they want to EAT YOU! Awesome.

4. 28 Weeks Later (2007- Dir. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo) IMDB Page
Not to be confused with the Sandra Bullock movie "28 Weeks" (equally scary!), this sequel to "28 Days Later" is not really a sequel. It does pick up some time after the first movie ends, but directed by a new director and a new take on the story and direction. Equally as good if not better than the first. Great Great movie, that again happens to be scary. The actors in this should win awards.

5. I Am Legend (2007- Dir. Francis Lawrence) IMDB Page
Again, technically NOT "Zombie's", but people with a virus (yeah yeah yeah) and they are strong, almost fly, and want to kill YOU!!!...BUT a Quality, Genuine performance by Will Smith, AMAZING special effects, the cutest dog ever, and just a great movie. I Am Legend is the third movie based on the 1954 Richard Matheson book of the same name (Matheson also penned Nightmare at 20,000 feet.) The first movie was called "The Last Man on Earth" starring Vincent Price, it was filmed in Italy in 1964.
This second movie based on the book was the 1971 classic movie "The Omega Man" that starred Charlton Heston as Robert Neville and Anthony Zerbe as Matthias the leader of the infected people that do their best to kill Charlton Heston due to the fact that Neville represents everything wrong that used to be before the virus.
This movie is a brand new take, but following very closely to the book as the other two did not. Enjoy!

Well it's begining to happen...people other than ourselves (haha) REALLY like our album. It's such a personal relief that the one thing you put "all your eggs into" is all becoming worth it. So far, within 1 month, "But No No No" has reached #1 in the Alternative Pop genre, #1 in ALL GENRES, AND now yesterday became #1 on the KIAC Radio BIG 50! It has also been #1 on Cashbox Magazine for 4 weeks in a row now too! It's crazy! It seems like one of thos things that you see this happening to a band and you think to yourself "They must have paid someone off!"...but it's happening all on it's own. It's truly a dream coming true. Here listen for yourself, see if you like it:

So that guy, Chris Crocker who did the video on YouTube screaming and crying "You Leave Britney Alone!" ...yeah you know the one! haha
SO in his long sppech he goes on to describe Kevin Federline as a "user and a cheater" ! OKAY LOVE IT! Since our Album is "Users Cheater Theatres"... it's exactly what the album is about.
So we are maiking our new T-Shirts saying "USER" or "CHEATER" ...you can decide what you are! :)

Reaching a Milestone

How do you know when you've reached a milestone in your life? When do the Dixie Chicks know to add more little chick tattoos to their feet? I guess you just feel it. I'm feeling it now. Last Friday we completed and released our first full-length album "Users Cheaters Theatres" via the web(MySpace & IAC Radio). (It will be released in stores in September.) And immeditely, within 1 day of posting it, the reaction has been amazing! I'm at a loss for words, which is rare! haha The album took a year and a half from the start of the recording back in Feb 2006. But really for me & John, it's been over 2 years!
We started trying to record this album back in May 2005 but we had some obstacles. BUT then we gained Rob Zero right around that time and also wrote a few songs, like "You Taught Me Well" that would have never existed if we would have recorded it then. Then we were going to record that Fall (we even recorded some of the tracks) and lost a band member, so then it was put on hold. But then we got Nolaig! So we made him learn all of the songs in like 3 weeks (hahaha poor Noel) and then we finally started recording that Feb.
So when we completed the CD the other night, I became really happy. It's wierd. I don't consider myself a "happy" person, but I really love this album and didn't realize how much it would affect me. I've been up to about 5am every night and sleeping only about 2 hrs, just for fun (not tired) b/c I'm like high on life or something lame like that. haha
Anywho! Hope you enjoy the album and what we did with it. There are alot of "Easter Egg" type things that people have already caught on to in this album so I'll give you a heads up about it!
