I had company that whole week. Lisa P. was staying with me while her kids were at camp w/ my son. One night I wanted to rent a movie. This is something that we never do, because it is still a big waste of money and time. We've been in AK 7 yrs, and we've rented movies maybe 5 times. Anyway, Lisa suggested a movie to me. At first I thought "yea right, a movie about football." Thrill, thrill. I got it anyway.<br /><br />The name of the movie is (if you've not already guessed) is <span style="font-style: italic;">"Facing the Giants."</span> WOW! T<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp0.blogger.com/__a8EUABgpeo/SFDg-003SNI/AAAAAAAAAMY/TbuotYS9Ha4/s1600-h/dvd.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/__a8EUABgpeo/SFDg-003SNI/AAAAAAAAAMY/TbuotYS9Ha4/s200/dvd.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5210912138804545746" border="0" /></a>his movie is amazing. For those who've not seen it. Don't waste your time renting it, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Just buy a copy.</span> It will be watched over and over again. This movie is everything a movie should be. CLEAN, funny and serious. It's was made by Sherwood Baptist Church, in GA.<br /><br />The Lord has changed me because of this movie. It made me realize that I wasn't giving everything that I could to the Lord, and I wasn't praying like I should, but when I did pray, I prayed doubting. I didn't prepare for Him to answer that prayer. The most important thing that the Lord showed me was that even if the Lord doesn't answer my prayer the way I want, I still am going to love Him and praise Him.<br /><br />There are some things that I don't agree with in this movie. The music and version of Bible used are the main things. However, the good outweighs the bad. It is good also. This was the first movie this church made. The quality isn't as good, but it is still worth it. Again, it has showed me some areas in my life that need changing.
