Smoking and UK Bingo Players

The bingo halls in the UK are reporting to be suffering from the smoking ban that's been brought in over the past 2 years in various parts of the UK. The last and final section of the UK to be hit was England where the ban came into force in July.

The large UK bingo operators like Mecca Bingo, Gala, et al., are all reporting that the smokers leaving their bingo halls are having a drastic negative effect on their revenues and rationalisation is taking place across the offline industry.

So has this helped online bingo in the UK? Well to a certain extent it seems to have helped but whether this is primarily due to the smoking ban, or just the fact that UK bingo players are naturally moving online, is open to discussion. It certainly hasn't harmed online bingo though.

With such a large number of UK bingo sites to play in online these days, it's little wonder that so many are taking to online bingo. Have you seen the weather they don't have to endure getting to their local bingo hall this summer!!

The Bingo Genius site aims to be the bingo community of choice for bingo players where they can interact and get new bingo information easily, quickly and without having to spend any money!

The site doesn't offer bingo games but is aimed at being the site where, no matter which bingo site you like to play in, you can come and interact with other players to discuss games, the favourite places to play in online, generally chat and enjoy the company of other like minded people.

The site is just released and is still undergoing some improvements but the site reviews are refreshing, the forums have a few posts and the site promises to be good.

I've mentioned Think Bingo in my posts here before and rate it highly as a great playing bingo site.

To compliment the site and to add to the Think Bingo popularity, Think Bingo Plus has been launched and it looks great!

The new site still runs great bingo games every few minutes but there is now the addition of other games. The games include a range of slots, table games and scratchards - great if you feel like a change without having to set up another new account somewhere.

The new site looks better than the original and the games are are as good if not better than the original as well. The enhanced graphics and sound set the new version apart though, and I think that this will go on to create an even better site.

It's worth checking out Think Bingo Plus whether you like the original or not and players new to the online bingo scene will love the new look and feel.

All in all, a great UK bingo site that offers a little bit more than most.
