You may notice that I kind of relent on my judgmentalism a bit in the second to last paragraph of the main entry. You are quite correct about the kindness these folks showed me. In fact, they let me come back this year as well and we talked for several minutes. <BR/><BR/>I did not mean to imply that these folks were stupid. I believe I used the word ignorant, which is different. We are all ignorant about some things. I do not mean it in a condemning sense. The problem is when you are discussing ignorance of snake identities, many times harmless species end up getting killed for no reason. <BR/><BR/>Also, if you are going to let all sorts of animals freely roam your property as well as let it be strewn with debris, you are going to get called a hillbilly every now and then. <BR/><BR/>Personally, I love that kind of place and the folks who live in them (as you might read in my my "Welcome" entry).
