tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12933495.post-1121662267730260112005-07-15T09:40:00.000-07:002005-07-17T21:51:07.736-07:00<span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Was travelling through the journey of life.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Having recently broken apart from my wife.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Alone I was trying to enjoy the scene</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">In walked a maiden soft and serene</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Somewhere along the way we touched a chord.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">She was lonely and equally bored.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">On the journey we shared our dream.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">She too loved her coffee with cream.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">She was trying to get back at someone.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Getting close to me was her idea of fun.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Took a little while for this to sink in.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">By this time, she had started to act mean.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">I was happy it was short and brief.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">It did not cause me any grief.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Oh to propose her I was so tempted.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">A thing that I almost attempted.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">I am sometimes tempted to give her a call.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">Cause once to me, she did enthral.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">I realize that its no longer my game.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">It might even bring me to shame.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">And i am glad that I did refrain.</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 204);">We were simply strangers in a train.</span><br /><br /><br /><br /></span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/12933495-112166226773026011?l=mypoetry2005.blogspot.com'/></div>abhijitnoreply@blogger.com1
