I don't know why I got into Mindisc players, such a waist of money. Maybe it's because my CD player with am radio, shock resisting super clamps and espresso machine was getting just a little to big to carry during cross country practice.

I believe that I purchased three players in total since 9th grade, maybe. In toto? Correct usage? I was always at Minidisco looking at was new in players, headphones, cases and so on. Only cool thing about it (imo) was it was super easy to record live audio. I bought a mic once, stole a Spanish test, recorded all the different terms and forms, and ran an ear bud through my jacket before that had that convenient slot just for that function. When they stopped allowing us to "listen to music", because a kid that copied me but onto a CD player was caught, I started making the title for a song all the answers of the test.

I just came a across my old Minidisc stuff and it aroused my brains.

*Saying 'aroused my brains' made me think of 'don't arouse my anger', which is a quote form Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise, and the title of this post is another line from that song.

So Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl, which means that I owe my manager Outback. I probably stick to getting a 'Bloomin' Onion'. He told me that if I were to win that he would take me there and try and make the whole situation awkward; He wanted me to have no satisfaction with winning the bet. But since it was him who ended up winning I figure I should turn it back on him. I was thinking that I would get there and say that I was going to the rest room but then tell the staff that it is his birthday and maybe rent a clown suit so that he is the one that is getting punk'd.

Dairy Queen Dunce

I was in line at Dairy Queen getting a #8, large sized, and a Pepsi to drink with light ice. I noticed the man in front of me was missing his middle finger on his left hand. As the cashier lady went to hand him his change I could tell that she noticed the finger, or lack there of, and tried not to make herself look like and idiot. In doing so she still happened to drop his 58 cents right through where his middle finger should be. Under my breather I said, "What the fuck?" The old man simply replied with "I know, right?" I mean that's worse then attempting to give a blind kid a high five because you can see the guys missing finger right there, because its missing. He even made a nice little cup with his hand, I mean don't get all scared because the cup has a little chip in it.

I don't know if this counts as one of life's simple pleasures, but I did smile on the inside when the guy realized that I said what the fuck to her and not to him.

So I'm sittin' in the office (on my break of course, geeze) talking to my old supervisor and he's asking me when I'm gonna start playing Warcraft again. I giving him all my justifications for not playing, and all I'm getting out of him is "Okay. So when are ya starting back up?" Then one of our managers spins around in his chair and bull-rushed me...Verbally. "You guys talkin' WoW again? Adam, come here, lets talk business."

He's wanting to make a little wager on the Super Bowl between the Steelers and the Cardinals. He's a Pittsburgh fan. A die hard Pittsburgh fan. A dear lord baby Jesus kinda Pittsburgh fan. For the entire time Pittsburgh is on the clock in the NFL draft, he plays this song kind of fan. Oh, Pittsburgh is playing on TV, he plays this song. Dang, Pittsburgh made it to the playoffs, you got it. Holy moly, the Super Bowl?! Ok, I'm sure you get it. Can y'all guess what his cell phone ringer is? Yep, the same song. Computer desktop. Steelers. "Jersey Day" at work. Steelers. I asked him what he thought about global warming. He sneezed, then said Steelers.

So after an intense 3 minute power-convo/point spread negotiation/prize winning barter, we decided that Arizona has to beat Pittsburgh by 4 or more points, with the winner getting carry-out from Outback steakhouse. I had predicted earlier that they would win by 6, then told him they'd win by 10 to appear confident, so his spread of 4 points or more was enough to make me accept.

I'll let ya know next week how their 'Bloomin' Onion' tastes this time of year. I bet it's wonderful.

Soccer beatdowns. France taught us that the head-butt is key, but as seen in the first brawl, the jumping sidekick is effective when performed consecutively. The guy at 1:00 is a badass, and I think that 1:13 was a failed "sleeper hold," he didn't mean to punch him.

The game was incredible, and it was amazing getting to see LeBron play live. I was on the Jumbotron a few times, it was pretty funny. I didn't even notice at first, and was receiving text messages from The Sin Man every time, and finally caught it the last time they featured my handsome self. I got a couple videos of LeBron and Roy, but make sure to watch them with the higher quality feature.

The Arizona Cardinals over the Pittsburgh Steelers by 6 points.

The Steelers have a tougher, more aggressive defense then Philadelphia, that's for sure, but what Kurt has going for him is that he can get the ball away with blitzing defense up in his grill. I don't believe the Steelers to be a high octane threat on offense like the Cards, but when you have a monster defense you don't have to be. When it comes down to it, there is no team that can lock-down both Fitzy and Bolden, and even more so if Edge continues to produce like he has this post season.

I know in my heart that if the 49ers would have made it into the post season they would have made it to the Super Bowl, but since they aren't I gotta root for the next best thing in the west. I could of been a douche like everyone else and said that I like San Diego, but I own the douche cards and I don't hand 'em to myself. Plus Arizona has a much sweeter field.
