(I'm sitting on one right now AIFG!) It encourages you to move more during the day (you can't scoot it over the file cabinet, you have to get up and walk over, etc.) and it makes you use more muscles for balance.<BR/><BR/>Two caveats: any child under, say, eight, will want to bounce on it and WILL NOT BE DISSUADED, and they are *very* difficult to sit on wearing tight pencil skirts. The advantage is that you make slight adjustments to balance and so your inner core (abdominal/back) muscles get a low impact workout.
