I would never mix such different weight materials on a dress, but the colors work.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12773096.post-1145414233704970002006-04-18T21:37:00.000-05:002006-04-18T21:37:00.000-05:00I loooove this. I dont mind the contrasting fabrics but I think I am in the minority here...Stereoettehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08122913709416254561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12773096.post-1145388134795260732006-04-18T14:22:00.000-05:002006-04-18T14:22:00.000-05:00la belladonna! I think even with dry cleaning there'd be problems with the contrasting materials. I'd like it better all silk -- not that I'm spending $415 bucks on it.Gidget Bananashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16932906614393093731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12773096.post-1145381961118070582006-04-18T12:39:00.000-05:002006-04-18T12:39:00.000-05:00Yeah, $415 is certainly a little steep. But the older I get the better it seems to suit me ("thanks" to my prematurely-greying hair!). I'm guessing that you'd have to dry-clean this one to keep the two fabrics from srinking/stretching to different degrees and ruining the flow of the dress. (And I'm vehemently anti-dry-cleaning-required-clothing.)

But hey, if I were rich or if it were a gift, I'd wear it at least once a week all summer long!jennynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12773096.post-1145368279231476492006-04-18T08:51:00.000-05:002006-04-18T08:51:00.000-05:00I'm not wild about orange gingham unless you're Do...I'm not wild about orange gingham unless you're Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz on drugs.
