Well, the way they played last night...no signs of it. Scratching out only two hits against the Padres <b> Cha Seung Baek </b>(now with All-Star numbers such as 2-4 with a 4.93 ERA) is ridiculous. The D-backs finished with only five hits...and drop this one 5-1.<br /><br />Once again <span style="font-weight: bold;">Dan Haren</span> pitched an excellent game. Seven innings and gave up two runs. But once again that wasn't nearly enought.<br /><br />************************************************************************************<br /><br />Interesting that the D-backs <a href="http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080705&amp;content_id=3070908&amp;vkey=news_ari&amp;fext=.jsp&amp;c_id=ari">called up <span style="font-weight: bold;">Emilio Bonifacio</span></a> from Tucson with Eric Byrnes going on the DL again. Bonifacio is expected to try and provide a spark at the top of the lineup. Hey...I'm all for trying anything at this point.
