Ya see, Valentines is one of those made up retail kinda holidays. Restaurants, florists and card shops do a hell of a business. Sorry for being a tad tardy with the updates, but the first of the year is always convention time. So we've spent the past couple of weeks getting ready for, going to and then recovering from the yearly porn convention in Las Vegas. We snapped some pics on the show floor for you guys though. We have pictures of porn hotties such as the lovely Tory Lane pictured here and legends such as Janine.

So what is the show like? Well, first off, the annual porn show is always held at the same time as the Consumer Electronics Show. This is one of the largest trade shows in the world, so imagine 200,000 geeks and business men clogging up Las Vegas and then throw in all of the world's largest porn stars, producers and business men on top of it. On one hand, you get some really killer parties, but on the other you get outrageous hotel pricing and long lines for everything. This is also when industry events such as the equivalent of the porn Oscars show is held. Don't ask me who won the award for Best Double Anal this year.

The show itself is divided into two sections. One section is for industry only, this is where we actually spent most of our time. This is Business to Business for people in the porn industry. It's where you go to find ecommerce solutions, software and things that would generally put most people's feet to sleep.

The second half of the show is where the video producers and such all set up with the stars to show off their latest titles and such. This section is open to the public during certain hours. We mostly avoided it during those hours. You'd think a lot of the guys in there had never seen an actual boobie before. We know many of these girls "behind the scenes" and what they're really like. In most cases they're just folks like us. So it amuses us to watch star struck fans around them.

We did make one visit during fan hours and stopped by Jenna Jameson's booth while she was signing. The line was about 2 hours long, photographers were lined 3 deep trying to get a shot. It was somewhat amusing when she saw us walking outside the booth and stopped signing long enough to get up and come over and say hi to us. I'm sure the entire line was wondering "who the heck are those guys?".

Personally I don't give a crap when people don't like my work. We shoot pictures to obtain a specific effect, and we usually hit it. Anyway, another thing is to time the trimming of the beaver. You can trim it day of the shoot, or several days before a shoot... but never trim it only one day before shooting. Why you ask? It ain't just about the stubble, when hairs grow back down below sometimes it causes little red bumps and in bad cases, you'll get a few whiteheads in the process.

That's just nasty. We know what it is, but if you didn't know the girl and you headed south of the border in a well lit room and saw this, what would you do? If you're young you wouldn't stop to think but those with a little experience will at least flinch and take a closer look.

Fortunately something like that won't show up on a video, and we can use the magic of photoshop to fix the pictures before posting to a website. Sure, the editing job still looks a little funky, but it's a lot cleaner.. and you won't notice it when you're seeing the rest of the picture. Trust me on this.

Behind the Green Bikini

We decided to squeeze in a Lexie bikini set before it gets too cold. One of the largest challenges with doing sites for these girls is shooting whenever you can, but then rolling out the photos in a way that is logical. The blog and diary entries, live shows and such are obviously real time, but when a new photo set is released it might've been shot the day before or 6 months ago depending on the schedule of the girls and photographer.

You like to shoot Christmas pictures in December, and bikini shots in July, but hey sometimes it just doesn't work out. So you shoot what you can when you can and bank it. But when you roll them out, you need to avoid spoiling the fantasy. Pictures of a model cozied up on a bear skin rug in front of a big roaring fire released in July are bad form.

Ok, so we did some Lexie shots of her in this hot little green bikini. She was in an absolutely great mood during this shoot and very daring. We had a huge suite that also had a little balcony. We were able to get her out on the balcony and strip her completely naked. I think you'll see from the pics that she was really into it.

Lexie Update
