Tri-SharksSullivan tri marks the beginning of the tri season for me. Despite this year's wind and threat of rain, it was a great day for a tri. It's a sprint distance, with 400m in the pool, a 13 mile bike, and a 5K. I finished in 1:15:18, taking a whole six minutes off last year's time to place as the 3rd overall woman. Spent the weekend daytripping with the boy. After running 14 miles on the trail followed by a nap on Saturday morning, we went to Champaign for the day. Whew! Ran the latest 5 miler in town this weekend, and every year, I keep forgetting just how hilly it is. And every year, I swear I'm going to run more hills. That never seems to happen.
