Started good, Had the day off. <br /><br />About 12:30 pm went out to McDuffy's for lunch and a little horse racing. It was crowded and it took a long time to get waited on but, the food was good. I bet on 2 races. Won the first one but lost money on it. Bet the exacta on a four horse race. Man, am I stupid. The ticket cost more than I won. LOL. Live and learn, right? <br /><br />The other race, I bet a long shot on a whim. The horse almost won too. He was beat out at the last second by the favorite. He lost by like a 1/2 of a second.<br /><br />About 2pm, I went to see "Clerks 2". Now, I will warn u that i am a self admitted Smith fanboy. So, this review may be a little biase. <br /><br />I loved the movie. Laughed my ass off. It was great to see all the characters back again. The movie shows as usual what a genius writer Kevin Smith is. I don't know if the movie is for everyone. There are a lot of inside jokes as usual and u have to be a movie/pop culture geek to get some of the humor but, I loved it. Clerks 1 and Chasing Amy were better but, I would rank this as his third best (followed closely by Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back). 8/10<br /><br />After seeing the movie i rented "Conversations with Kevin Smith". This is a very funny "lecture" Kevin gave at Kent State University. This "movie" is just kevin on a stage telling stories and answering questions asked by a live audience. A must see for any Smith fan. BTW, the film is 4 hours long, just a warning. 8/10<br /><br />Thats about it. Off again tommorow. Thinking about going to see Monster House. Not sure though.
