Just yesterday I introduced my spouse to your stuff-you reminded him, like you did me, of us! We, too, have cruised aboard boats, lived offshore Key West FL for 15 years and now live in the Bay Area CA for good medical care, educational opportunities and multi-cultural diversity.

Keep writing and I will keep reading....

Lynda Otvos-No CaliforniaLyndahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08938791116446859160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246932995316338139.post-67843390331800899652008-11-18T14:05:00.000-08:002008-11-18T14:05:00.000-08:00Love reading the comments and agree with all of th...Love reading the comments and agree with all of them. You say you write about your life and today your life is dealing with Cancer. You have struck a chord with many. Some living vicariously through your travels and now travails. Please continue to follow your heart and write accordingly. I/we will follow suit.
Doc's GirlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246932995316338139.post-52637813285390979052008-11-17T21:13:00.000-08:002008-11-17T21:13:00.000-08:00Past - Present - FutureI keep coming back because ...Past - Present - Future

I keep coming back because
Morningstar Is Here!majorfactornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246932995316338139.post-16141694020001196952008-11-17T18:50:00.000-08:002008-11-17T18:50:00.000-08:00MorningStar, I can't remember where I found your b...MorningStar, I can't remember where I found your blog, but I enjoy your photography, and your writing style is comforting. I have had to live with cancer thru my mother, grandmother, and I had 0 stage cervical displaysia. I really enjoyed the stories of you all on your boat, (forgive me for not giving it the correct title).
You just keep on writing what you want. I will keep on reading and praying for you and yours. I love the photos you post, your descriptions of the people you encounter at the market, your travels, all of it.

I don't know how I originally came across your blog, but I subscribed to the feed because you were (in the posts I found originally) living a life I had once dreamed of for myself...in the wilderness, off the grid, log cabin. I read every post from the beginning over an evening or two, so when I finally arrived at the posts about your illness, it was like hearing a wonderful new friend had been sick since you'd met and you hadn't known it.

I continue to follow your blog now because I like your writing and feel I've come to know you a little bit and care about how you're doing.Pattihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07099069884708593835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246932995316338139.post-85336484083822076892008-11-17T12:51:00.000-08:002008-11-17T12:51:00.000-08:00Thank you for asking! After a few visits I felt I was living your world view, so like our own, and sharing your days, which seemed peaceful and enviable, give or take a "convenience" or two, or a hundred. The reality check of your cancer brought me up short. I was already enthralled with your writing and experience, it seemed natural to stay with you to (silently) heft some of the weight. Then came the journals, all of which have held my rapt attention. My wish, then, is that you write about whatever strikes your fancy or excites your mind. We will be there, eager to read your thoughts and walk with you.

You have had the courage of OUR convictions, as well as
your own. Bravo, Morningstar, and thank you.

Wendy & DavidewtonWendy Newtonnoreply@blogger.com
